Chapter 50 - May I Sleep With You?

Xiao Jing stood in front of the stream and washed her face. As she watched the setting sun, she couldn't help but sigh.

Why did I have to come here to take the Iron Eagle for a beating when I had a lot of good times?

She was supposed to take a hot bath at 525, then go to the cafeteria for a sumptuous dinner, and finally fall asleep with her pillow embroidered with lotus flowers.

But where was she now?

What was she doing?

Xiao Jing sat on the ground with her hands supporting her chin, feeling wronged. She looked at the leaves that were stirred up by the breeze, and the surroundings were strangely quiet.

"Gu gu gu gu."

Nightingale began to cry out.

"Gulu."

Xiao Jing paused for a moment as she looked at the small stream behind her with astonishment. Why did she always feel as if there was something approaching her?

The sun was setting, and a strange atmosphere permeated the dark forest.

Xiao Jing carefully gathered the branches together and lit a torch. She carefully observed the calm ground in front of her.

"Rustle, rustle."

The dead leaves trembled slightly, and something began to slowly move within the dead leaves.

Xiao Jing's hands were tightly holding onto the spear as she stared unblinkingly at the slightly moving dead leaves.

The python unhurriedly slithered towards the stream, seemingly not caring that someone was spying on it from behind.

After Xiao Jing was sure that this thing posed no threat to her, she let out a sigh of relief and took out some compressed bread to eat.

"Hoo, hoo, hoo."

A bubble was condensing in the stream.

Xiao Jing turned on her flashlight. Suddenly, her expression turned cold as she frantically rolled backwards.

In the dark night, a pair of scarlet eyes flickered with a strange light. The smell of blood assaulted his nose.

"What is it?"

Xiao Jing swallowed a mouthful of saliva. The flashlight's illumination was limited, so she couldn't clearly see what creature had suddenly attacked her. However, from its size, she could tell that it was definitely a creature that was stronger than her.

This was a jungle, and the creature she was thinking of should be living in the lower reaches of the Yangtze. She didn't think that such a thing would exist in an inland area.

But the facts proved that she was too naive!

"Hoo, hoo, hoo."

Angry roars could be heard from within the stream once again. A moment later, a leg kicked the bonfire, revealing the gigantic creature to the naked eye.

"My mother."

Xiao Jing turned around and ran into the forest.

The crocodile's movement was very fast. With a sweep of its tail, it tripped Xiao Jing and tripped her on the ground.

Xiao Jing opened her eyes wide and fired two shots without any hesitation. Unfortunately, the crocodile's skin was rough and its flesh was thick. The bullet did not pose a threat to it.

The crocodile was enraged and it ran over angrily once again.

Xiao Jing grabbed onto the tree trunk and climbed up the tree with all her might. She stared at the big object under the tree that refused to leave, then patted her chest as if she had survived a disaster.

However, she did not relax her vigilance. Something ice-cold seemed to have rubbed against her skin from her ankle.

Xiao Jing alertly fired at the object at her feet.

"Bang!" The sound of the gunshot woke up a large group of birds that were already nocturnal.

The startled birds took to the air one by one.

Xiao Jing covered her head with her hands, but her skin was still scratched by the claws of the bird.

"Whew, Whew."

The crocodile began to move restlessly, and it could no longer restrain itself as it rammed its huge body against the tree.

The leaves shook, and Xiao Jing almost lost her balance and fell down.

"There's no need to play like this."

Xiao Jing tightly held onto the tree branch as she planned her next step. She didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

"Sure enough, I think too highly of you."

In another tree, the man's powerful voice echoed around him for a long time.

Suddenly, Xiao Jing looked over with disbelief. Under the cover of the night, her figure became a little blurry.

Shen Chengfeng leaped down from the treetops and with a flash of silver light in his hand, the alligator who was quite impressive a moment ago slipped into the stream with its tail between its legs.

Xiao Jing climbed down from the tree, still in a dazed state. She blinked her eyes, pointed at the huge thing that had no intention of resisting, and bitterly smiled. "Why do I feel like this crocodile was raised by you, captain?"

He sees you and runs. "

Shen Chengfeng put the dagger back into the sheath and glanced at the mischievous smile on the small figure's face. He said in a neutral tone, "Every recruit training requires its help."

Xiao Jing seemed to understand why this big guy was still excitedly waving his huge paws at her. When she saw this big bun running away, she felt scared.

Considering that his own superior had activated the same special ability, it was likely that the crocodile's tail injury was caused by him.

"Actually, you can go even further. It's just that you've settled down and thought of a place with water to rest, so you neglected the more dangerous parts of the forest."

Shen Chengfeng started the fire again and his words were as cold as ice.

Xiao Jing squatted in front of him, hugging her knees and whispered, "Captain never left?"

Shen Chengfeng glanced at the smiling Xiao Jing and threw a wooden pole into the bonfire, "Every officer in charge of training soldiers must be responsible for the safety of their soldiers. If I leave, that guy will have a feast today."

Xiao Jing looked in the direction he was pointing at. Under Yue Ye's illumination, a big head was staring at them like a tiger watching its prey.

Shen Chengfeng picked up the snake that was beaten to death by Xiao Jing, and with a quick knife, he peeled off the snake's skin and picked up a wooden stick to pick up the snake and placed it on the bonfire.

The fragrance of the meat filled the air, making the big fellow in the stream even more agitated.

Xiao Jing covered her mouth as she stared at the snake meat in front of her, shaking her head in panic.

Shen Chengfeng did not move at all and continued placing the snake meat in front of him. He said seriously, "This is cooked. In future missions, you will often eat raw meat with blood on it, even mice."

Xiao Jing's face turned green and white. She picked up the snake meat, closed her eyes, and opened her mouth to swallow this tasteless food.

"Alright, go to sleep. I will take you out tomorrow."

Shen Chengfeng and his clothes fell onto the dead leaves.

Xiao Jing slightly shifted her body, moving closer to her opponent.

Shen Chengfeng opened his eyes and stared at Xiao Jing, who was hugging him. He asked, "What do you want to say?"

"May I sleep with you?"

Shen Chengfeng looked at the big guy who was moving not far away and deliberately moved to the side.

Xiao Jing quickly laid down and wrapped herself in his cloak, trying her best to reduce the feeling of existence.

Shen Chengfeng coughed lightly, "We're too close."

"It's safe."

Xiao Jing calmly leaned against his side.
