Emisyl managed to exchange his Celestia-bux into Illumina-bux.
He is now on his way to start a hotdog stand using his inventory while Moonlin is watching around.
"Why did you follow me? I just wanna sell hotdogs" Emisyl asks without looking as he is too busy preparing his store.
"Join me" Moonlin invites.
"On what?" Emisyl asks.
"We will kill all the light-bearer's in this city" Moonlin says as she gives an evil look.
"Oh..." Emisyl gave an uninteresting tone of response as he looks.
"That's cool. I think you should do it" Emisyl adds as goes back preparing his stand.
"Now we got the grill" he says.
"Hsss" he imitates the sound.
"Oh hey you're still here. I thought you're about to kill whatever" Emisyl notices Moonlin.
"No. I don't feel like it anymore" she says.
She then starts to go inside the stand while Emisyl is on it.
"So how does this work?" Moonlin asks.
"Well uh... it's... a grill?" Emisyl finds that question weird.
"Are you homeless or something?" he asks.
"I'm just kidding, I know this" Moonlin actually knows then starts to fiddle things.
"Oh... I thought you'd be acting cute and stuff" Emisyl says.
"Then I'll be teaching you and we have like, a love story then eventually we get married" he adds.
"Yo?" Moonlin looks at Emisyl.
"Oh yeah. Just some exaggeration" Emisyl replied then he notices that someone is looking at them.
"Oh this is a costumer" he tells Moonlin.
"Don't look at him" he suggests.
Moonlin raises eyebrows.
The man is now approaching the store, he got a bangs on the side and he looks like an emo but he isn't.
Some sort of emo and rockstar, who knows.
Also a jacket.
"Hey..." he greets the store.
He notices that it's a hotdog stand.
"Cool store" he says.
"Thanks" Emisyl replied.
And then he left.
But he's actually not leaving, he suddenly starts moonwalking.
"Bzzt... just travelled back in time and I wanna buy something" he says.
"Ok. That'd be 5 Illumina cash" Emisyl says.
"Deal" he sends the money.
Suddenly, he starts looking at the side and notices Moonlin.
"Hey bro, who's this chick?" he asks.
"My girlfriend" Emisyl replies with a serious tone as he grills.
"No" Moonlin interrupts.
"I am Sargras" (Moonlin's last name but it isn't recognized by people) Moonlin says.
"I know you want to know it" Moonlin smugs.
"Ohohoho... you got me there" the man was surprised and flips his jacket then points his fingers as if they are guns.
"You are like me and you're probably better huh?" he gets his face closer.
"I'm sure I am. How long can you last?" Moonlin sends out another smug.
"Woah-woah-woah calm down right there. Let's take things slow and you're taking my words" the man was caught off guard again.
"My name's Kaihri. I do lightshows" Khaihri who seems to be the man sends out his hand.
(Kaihri... I feel like this name resembles light) Moonlin suddenly changed mood but outside, she isn't showing it.
Moonlin decides to take the hand.
"Nice. If you forget, my name's Sargras" she sends out a smile.
Kaihri also had an inventory so he walks back and sets up a stage with black background.
Everyone notices him so they started watching.
Kaihri starts to perform a ritualistic dance that is aesthetic to watch as he plays with the light spheres.
He ends this dance with a glittery explosion that nearby kids try to catch.
Moonlin finds him funny and interesting the moment he did that but still, her hatred against light cannot be changed.
Kaihri starts to approach Moonlin again.
"I felt pretty shy midway but... I hope you liked it" he smiles.
"I did" Moonlin smiles back.
"Hey sir, maybe you want some hotdogs?" Emisyl hands over the order.
"Oh... I'm sorry. I was just..." he was entranced by Moonlin.
"I'll return here whenever. Maybe... I'll cut my hair too" he adds.
"No, you can keep it. Maybe comb it upwards so it looks clean and I can clearly see your face" Moonlin says.
"Oh... sure" Kaihri was blushing.
"Whelp. See you around" he waves then walks away.
He was too fluttered that his waking pattern had his ass shake so much.
Moonlin was in between of hating him because he wields light and finding him a nice person because he looks interesting.
There was a screen by the wall nearby and it seems to be a gigantic television.
Suddenly, a newscaster starts to talk.
"We have heard the news about Ampheria's war"
"It is supposed to not happen, everyone knows that Ampheria cannot be conquered as it is the strongest country in the world"
"However, things sometimes come beyond our expectation"
"Long ago, there was a prediction from a seer who had fallen"
"Hymorgias, rest in peace" says the newscaster.
A tribute for Hymorgias starts to play.
He died of lung cancer, Hymorgias was kind of a smoker.
"Oh... Hymorgias dude is dead?" Emisyl reacts.
"Who is that?" Moonlin asks.
"Some smelly old man. He says there will be war that Dusk will be involved, he was actually right" Emisyl explains.
"Turns out, we would get involved but the other way. Elites and me got sent to another realm"
"I don't even know why am I involved, I just want to get a job" Emisyl ends.
"I see" Moonlin reacts.
They start to continue watching the broadcast.
"Now we continue. The last prediction by respectable Hymorgias is the darkness might return
anytime soon" says the broadcaster.
"The first leader who founded this country and made it possible for us to be here"
"Aurelius himself had said that the return of darkness is inevitable and he regrets what he did long ago"
"However, regrets are too late for us. Eventually, we have to face this darkness and keep our guard up"
"The glory of Illumina must not come to an end" the broadcaster then starts to remove his fake face.
It's actually Lux himself, the leader of Illumina.
"I, Lux call for your help"
"The light must unite at all cost" he says.
"You have heard my plans about borrowing the Orb of Eternal War from Artinoc as our hope to save this city"
"However, Dusk declines the offer and has been spreading the idea that we were to steal it"
"Illumina is not the land of thieves and whoever has set up this plot will inherit Karma"
"Destiny will make it's way. But as I say, we must unite at all costs for Glory of Illumina"
"That is all you have to hear. Be brave and ready" the television starts to change its broadcast into some popcorn advertisement with a catchy song.
"Pop pop pop! Watch it pop! Poppy's Purple Popcorns! Buy now!" says the broadcast.
"Purple popcorns?" Emisyl was confused.
(So they know) Moonlin talks to herself.
(I wonder what is this, Orb of Eternal War)
(I should ask Petra about it) she adds.
Moonlin spent her day helping Emisyl on his store.
Emisyl slept on his hotdog stand while Moonlin decides to teleport on Petra's shoe store.
The store was closing and no one is outside.
We see Lycsei helping Petra close the it.
Alderei is carrying her dog and petting it.
Petra starts to greet Moonlin.
"Oh... It's the mistress. How's the first day in Illumina?" she asks.
"It was fine. Oddly I helped someone with his hotdog store" Moonlin answers.
"Yep. That was kind of odd" Petra reacts.
"I thought you'd get panic attacks. That city is full of Light-bearers" she adds.
"Yes. I met one on the first day" Moonlin says.
"How was it? Did you kill him immediately?" Petra asks.
"I would've but he looks too stupid to kill" Moonlin smiles as she remembers Kaihri's ritualistic dance.
"Still if I get the chance. I'll take them off this world" Moonlin adds.
"Though, that's not the reason I came here"
"What is Orb of Infinite War?" Moonlin asks.
However, it's Lycsei who answered.
"It's some orb that the Faerie's keep in their realm but Vyse took it which caused a war between Faeries and people of Dusk" Lycsei says.
He then starts walking closer to Moonlin and faces her.
"I lived here for so long that I know their history but that's another topic, I bet you just want to know what the orb is" Lycsei explains.
"The orb is endless battle between dark and light. A vampire scientist found an exploit and turned the vampires around Artinoc to not crave for blood. Eventually, they turned into human-like while keeping the abilities of a vampire such as sharp fangs, agility and stuff"
"It's simply that, it's an orb that contains infinite battle of dark and light and if harvested, it creates odd results but for this time, it turned vampires "not vampires" and gave artificial light on Artinoc"
"However, there's a downside of this and got people killed long ago"
"It was so strong that it can shift the gravity of a certain place causing it to go upside down"
"But if you enter on it's field, its actually not deadly. People lived and returned on that city after the orb was retreived"
"I actually received an intelligence that Illumina is trying to steal the orb but I don't trust our spy.
She's been always craving for war, there must be an act of negotiation but it didn't reach Nigh"
Out of nowhere, Bertha is there to talk.
"Clarc received the negotiation. He was told that they will give something similar including the gravity shift. It was basically the same but for some reason, Illumina wants the orb itself" Bertha says.
"How did you know?" Lycsei asks.
"I was there. Did you forget I'm also the other hand of Nigh?" she replied.
"Then why spread the word that Illumina wants to steal it" Lycsei says.
"Because, that orb is a token" Bertha says.
"It fell to the Faerie realm after a dark world from space starts to show light and formed Artinoc"
"Artinoc was the first city in Dusk and we won't be here without it"
"Tourists like that odd feeling of suddenly gravitational change after they enter Artinoc"
"You could literally float at the edges of the gravity, it's not deadly and it's fun Gravity Diving" she says.
"We somewhat owe what we have in Dusk and that token should not be taken away" Bertha says.
"I made sure that Dusk would go offensive on this one. They must know that it would cost blood and soul the moment they lift a finger at the orb" Bertha finishes.
"You're insane" Lycsei reacts.
"You can't do anything about it anyways. I just feel like telling you" Bertha says.
"Interesting" Moonlin reacts.
Alderei pets her dog again.
We see Astaridas from a distance and is about to approach the group.
He no longer looks zombified.
"Hello mistress!" he happily greets.
"I will now take my leave. Whatever happens, we won't lose" Bertha says.
"This... old woman..." Lycsei silently reacts as he watches Bertha walk away.
Moonlin then looks at Astaridas.
"Wow. You look flesh and fresh!" Moonlin reacts.
"Yep! I'm loving it" Astaridas replied.
"I started helping this shoe store as a pay back for Petra. I never knew you had companions before me" he adds.
"Dang. Your old works are nasty" he ends.
"Yes of course. I've been hating light since that day" Moonlin says.
"Whatever I did in the past, they deserve it" she adds.
Moonlin realizes there's nothing to do in that area now and decides to tell that she's about to leave.
"I'm leaving. See you everyone" she says.
"Bye, mistress!" they started waving.
Moonlin disappears in the air and returns to the store.
She was welcomed by Emisyl drooling on the floor.
