"At the start of the universe, three types of matter were created. matter, antimatter, and time particles. The common human in 2012 only knows of the existence of matter. Matter is what the known universe is created of. Your body, for example, is made of matter. Antimatter is the opposite of matter. Where the core of the atoms are negative changed and the "electrons" are positively charger. When matter and antimatter interact an explosion happened that could literally blow up the universe.
There is another type of matter that is not known to most people. Time particles. These particles only exist within the fourth dimension. Some people think that the fourth dimension is where gravity exists, but they are wrong. The fourth dimension is home to time.
Some people are born with a specific constitution that changes time. Each of these time users can only speed up or slow down time. This is because the speed time particles and slow time particles are always as conflict. Time will also most in a linear fashion, but particle users can change the rate of this linear change.
When the first humans entered the world there were no particular users, but as time passed some people gained the understanding to use these particles. If we look back at history we can see many events that are unexplainable without time particles.
The Egyptian Pyramids are one example. Ancient humans got giant blocks of stone hundreds of feet into the air. How was this done might you ask. Well, speed particle users could contract and expand their muscles at an extremely faster rate. Thus generating the force to lift these blocks of stone.
Over time more and more people were developing the constitution of access time particles. Two organizations of users were created. They were known to the general population as speed and slow. These organizations only acted upon each other because there was their organization not known to normal humans. The watchers were a group of people who were born with the power the access both the speed and slow particles. These humans were the most powerful people ever. This group of people has realized the importance of keeping the mortals out of time world. So they created the iron-clad law that if any normals are injured in a battle of a particular user that user would be subject to death.
After this law was created all time users went to remote parts of the world to cultivate and train their powers. Over time these organizations split into many smaller groups that work independently of each other. These groups always try to recruit newly awakened partial users. These new users generally go with the first organization they are approached with. All organization has its own school and place to train. Kinda like Hogwarts.
However, the watchers have always been a reclusive group. They never participate in the batter between the organization, but whenever there is a user of both speed and slow particles they bring them into the watchers.
Some users, however, don't want to join an organization. These people are known as rouges. People that don't want to be under an organization's watch. We, my son, are part of this group of people. Users who are not part of any organization and you are at the most risk. You are an anomaly a speed and slow user. It is time for you to make a choice. The watchers will be here any minute. Make your choice."
