Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

The talent of a person dictates how fast one is able to progress. However, a person's perseverance determines how far would he be able to walk. One cannot give up as a result of lack of talent, looking down on themselves. Determination is the more important factor.

If one had great talent but no perseverance, they would not go far as cultivation is battle against time and the heavens along with wisdom which comes not to those with age, but by those that have seen.

The strong feed on the weak; without sufficient strength, in the eyes of the people in control, you were only a chess piece to be moved

Without sufficient strength, every step was filled with danger.

Thus, One had to become strong. You had to grow stronger, and then grow even stronger. Only by doing this could you control your own fate so that is why I have become someone strong not because of talent but because of my desire to improve and have an unbreakable will

Plant-type spirit masters like me can practice in most environments as long as the type, attributes, and talents of their plant spirits are not too extreme.

Most mimicry training ground are made through imitating natural environment with Blue Silver Grass which has the highest chance of awakening among the useless martial spirits. It is similar to a hoe and sickle, and generally has no soul power. Now that I have awakened the Blue Silver Grass, of course he has to plan its development carefully.

Looking back in my previous life there is a route and goal that I can develop based on its description as I can't aim for the blue silver emperor and follow the orthodox route of bloodline as it was not possible. First, he did not have the blood of the Blue Silver Emperor. Second, the Blue Silver Emperor already existed and he was the son of the previous Blue Silver Emperor. Although he had not awakened yet, his blood was destined to awaken the Blue Silver Emperor. No matter how much he practiced, he could only be the Ultimate Blue Silver King at most. It would definitely not be possible to go any further so I set my sights on walking my own development route.

The Nine-Leaf Sword Grass was born in an unknown ruin, seeking survival from death, unwilling to succumb to fate. Its form and spirit are like swords, with nine leaves, and its leaves are swords. When it is fully grown, its sword energy cuts through the void of the universe, tears apart the sun, moon and stars, and cuts off the fate of cause and effect. Its sword meaning represents the cry and struggle of the lower creatures against fate. It is basically impossible to comprehend its sword meaning without the heart to change fate.

When choosing spirit rings for a martial soul it is mainly based on two points attribute and talent

The attributes of the soul beast you choose should be consistent with the martial soul itself and the function of the martial spirit itself just like a sword for example, its attributes can be wind, thunder, fire, etc., but talent is the function of this sword, which is sharp and can be used for slashing and stabbing.

Although my focus would be on attributes I can't neglect the other part of the equation function which given the plasticity of my martial soul could be shaped based on my development as long as it is within the scope of possibilities

Now that you have decided to follow the path of Nine-Leaf Sword Grass, the quality of the soul ring must not be bad. According to the law of conservation of energy, the energy required for evolution is much higher than under normal circumstances. Whether it is fairy grass or soul ring, they are all a kind of energy, but they have different functions. Fairy grass can change a person's foundation, and soul ring can help a person break through. If the energy is not enough, the evolution of the martial soul will be a long way off.

Not to mention anything else, at least the first soul ring must be a hundred years old. I don't want the first soul ring to be ten years old, even if it is extremely suitable. This will slow down his development speed too much, or the upper limit is not that high, and he cannot bear the consequences. No matter how talented he was in his previous life, he was just an ordinary person not some kind of prodigy or the chosen one

The Spirit Hall must have it too, but his Blue Silver Grass is worthless. After all, Blue Silver Grass is the most useless thing. Even if it has soul power, it is just luck and is not worthy of being used in public. Fortunately, I am time traveler. It would be impossible to use it on ordinary people.

"From the perspective of cultivation, the process of cultivating soul power is boring and consumes mental energy. If you meditate on your martial soul during cultivation and let your martial soul participate, it will consume more mental energy, thus reducing the time for cultivating soul power. After all, if the soul power circulates more often in the body, it will feel bloated, painful, and numb."

"So, It is strongly suggest that when you cultivate soul power in the future, don't just cultivate soul power, but also meditate on your martial soul all the time, so that it can cultivate and grow with you."

We can treat the relationship of a soul master and their martial soul as the yin and yang I may not be the best but when it comes to theory about cultivation I can claim second and no one dares to be the first thanks to the knowledge from my previous life which I can apply to formulate my own path using them as a guideline not truth as practice is after all the the criterion of truth and forge my blade of grass.
