After a quick breakfast—and a few more "interactions" with everyone else after that, I discovered that aside from Lucy joining us for a quick detour on my Unc's ranch, everyone else who was thinking of staying in Cuervo Heights for a few days simply decided to drop it and just come with us for the moment.
"Even you, JP?" Kaley asked.
JP nodded, "Yeah, the troops will stay here but he'll leave in a couple of hours as well."
I then turned to Joe, "You too, right?"
Joe nodded, "Yep— I heard it can be pretty rowdy here but yeah…"
"Hmm?"
He scratched his head, "Yeah… I've been here one night and it's fucking crazy— crazy-good, for sure— but I kinda want to have you around, bro, because us new faces have zero cred here and it's hard to even move it by one…"
"Hah! Giving up from just one night?" Sheepy chuckled from the back.
