Not a hero, just an inocent young boy

Rick was tired. He could see the red and blue flashing lights coming closer and hear the shrill whine of the siren but he knew it was to late for him. He could feel the adrenaline starting to wear off as stabs of pain started to overload his head. He winced in pain as he tryed to take a deep breath. Well at least i wont have to deal with it for much longer. The ringing in his ears was starting to die down and he could make out the sounds of crying and screaming from his surroundings. He chuckled painfully as he promised to himself that he would never be a hero again its just not worth it. The sound of rescue workers and paramedics calling out reached his ears but he nether had the strangth or will to call out to them and soon the white light took him away.
