Page 1

Hello... My grandpa gave me this diary book on my 13th birthday, its a year later now and I finally decided to use it and share my journeys, with everyone and no one. My name is Gem, im a lover not a fighter, but people however believe that, I cant be a lover without someone to love... thats all I want, is someone to love. Besides my parents.

Today is January 3rd 2026, when I was 8 back in 2019, I thought the future would be way more different than I thought it was gonna be, I was thinking flying cars and jetpacks, but its mostly the same, but the technology is so much more advanced than it was in 2019. 2019 was when one of my favorite video games came out, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, those are what I call good days.

Today is January 18th 2026, someone walked up to me and she said "Hello... What's your name..?" I turned and I saw an angel, "Gem" I responded "Hi Gem, Im Crystal, do you know anything about love Gem?" I stared and smiled and said, "Yes I know almost anything when it comes to love" "Have you ever loved someone yourself?" she replied, "No... I have a deep dark secret I tell no one, but I'll tell you... I have a small case of autism," I responded. She looked at me smiled and chuckled, "You look normal as day" she said. Those words, meant a lot to me, she continued her question,

"does it hurt when someone you love leaves?"... I looked at her and teared up"No... I don't know what that type of pain feels like, but, its not the person leaving that hurts, its the memories they leave behind, for just you to remember, the good, the great, the bad, and the horrible times they just leave on your shoulders as they throw it away for you to keep. My wise father always told me fake love hurts more than true hate. My old favorite song lyric was a song by Alan Walker called All Falls Down, the song is incredibly relatable to a lot of people." I said, Crystal began to tear up, she thanked me and walked off.
