Chapter 6 - Chapter Six

Maybe Joss be better off without me, I thought to myself.

I'll just let her have the condo and stay with my father and stay in this life. I enjoy it too much to leave it and I'm always going to slip up and do what I have to do.

I had to call out today because some deep shit has been going on behind my back and I want that handle tonight. Being fired is the least of my concern pertain to the situation at hand. I've been receiving feedback from my Right hand saying they were extorting and sex trafficking kids in my name. One thing you don't fuck with kids and my name. dirty my name with that bullshit will get you to dismantle achingly slow.

Cracking my neck in the warehouse we bought from the city to do my dirty deeds. My brass knuckle stood firm as it adds another blow his Jake Paul face as he tries to deny doing such a thing to the babies.

"You fucking dare to snatch kids in my fucking name," another to the jaw had him spitting out teeth.

"Boss phone call," Gnome says and I went for the phone telling him to start dismantling as I wipe my hands.

"Jesse no, please! I didn't mean to I was desperate and my gambling been getting out of hand! Please!" he begs.

"Cut out his tongue he's bothering me. Get some names out of him," I said. "What's up?"

"Smiles and giggles around the block, Murphy blue," Chess right-hand says.

It was code for me him Joss aunty place of work a mile from the blue jukebox at the close by the arcade. Shit what the hell Benko did now. I hopped in my car head to the rented motel for a shower and call my cleaning crew scrubs the bathroom down and room.

I drove to Joss aunty place in an Uber dressed in a tank top, gray sweat shorts, and tennis shoes. All the lights in the little restaurant are dark and the chairs turn up.

When I receive the news that twelve of my guys were sex trafficking children, I drove to on a raging killing spree. So far nine down and three to go. Adrianna the small brunette sat down quietly with a blank slate face filled with nothing. Her white pretty dress made her tan skin glows. Her office is her domain since she owns the majority of it when I helped her divorce the scum.

She hates me because I gave a percentage to her daughter but I didn't tell her why I did what I did. So she hates my gut but respects me enough so I won't kill her.

She wants this beaten man out of her life. Her eyes were red from crying but the man tied on the opposite side in a chair untouched glared at her.

"Talk," I said to her standing by the door.

"I told him no contact with me. I did after the scamming with the Italians went bad. He left two years ago and came back so I got suspicious. So I checked everything to see what his reason could be here," she took a shaky breath. "I caught him roaming in my house for an account number, I pry it out of by threatening with the cops. Turns out he opened an account with my name collecting money for runs."

"What are you being paid for Hector?" I asked him in a deep voice.

"Just jobs here and there," he says.

The wrong answer I put on my brass knuckles punching him in the right shoulder three times in the same spot. He cried out in agony and leaning over.

"Talk!" I snapped. "Death next."

"I'm going to die anyway," he says breathlessly.

"Dying with a bang and give me names or just be Chess punching bag until you die," I suggested.

"Literally," Chess said happily.

He's twisted and get shit done, trustworthy, and loyal. He'll make him heal and then continue his long torture the man is patient than a sloth.

"He's all your chest and the others if you want," I told him.

"I want," he says grinning.

"Fill me in after," he says. "He needs results Rock," he says in a serious tone.

"Yeah," I roll my eyes. "Beers on me next get together."

I left through the back making my way to the front to the sidewalk and froze seeing Joss getting out of a car with Ron by her side trying to pass my guys. Well, he's holding her away.

He spots me first and then she did and now I have to deal with her.

"I don't want to hear it, Joss. Go home."

"My fucking family! Mine," she yells.

"Tone your shit down and do not draw attention. You know damn well I wouldn't be here if it wasn't a back choice your family made," I snapped. "Go home."

"I want to see my tía," she says on the verge of tears.

"Tomorrow she needs time to herself. Sorry but you have to let this one go," I sighed looking around the empty street.

"You have to stop this Jesse," she cries.

"Can you take her home?" I asked Ron. "She doesn't need to be here."

We heard a wailing cry and she tried to pass me but I blocked her and Ron grabs her wiggling and bawling.

"You can't he's my blood!" she cries. "I won't forgive! You bitch!"

"Name-calling wow," I said sarcastically walking away. "She won't come out no matter what," I said firmly before leaving the premises.

At school I ignore Joss and she ignores me. She doesn't want to hang out with me anymore. It's been over three weeks and she's still bitter over her uncle's disappearance. Miss Lamar kept looking at me nervously as I tapped my pen on the desk staring at Joss. The more I stare the more I feel my anger rising.

"Ms. McCoy do you want to leave?" Mrs. Lamar asked.

"I sure do," I picked up my bag and visibly watch Joss tense knowing damn well I'm up to no good.

I found Flank my PI guy and he almost shit himself when he found me sitting down in his underground game shop.

The lanky man had great weed and the latest video games for Xbox and PS4.

"How do you keep finding me?" he asked curiously.

"I don't have the nickname Vulture for no reason," I said to him lighting up a blunt as the lean white man with thick glasses joined me setting up my video game.

"Another fight with babe," he mocked.

"I'm going to kill the next person who says that" I snapped. "I have no sexual feelings for her. She doesn't have any for me. The entire community knows that she's my family to me and I would do anything to keep her alive. She's cutting me off and it's cutting off a part me each day. She doesn't have the balls to tell me what I did is wrong because deep down she knows I don't do shit just because… most of the time," I finished when he gave me a look.

"Why do you always vent to me is beyond me," he laughs.

"You're writing my memoir," I said sarcastically. "Look if something ever happens to me you take care of her. I can kill you beyond the grave as well."

He shudders saying, "I believe you."

He kept looking down at his phone as I relax my muscles.

"Just answer it, man," I said slugging back in my chair.

He steps out of the room as I roll me another one.

"You've got to go Geo Ten is coming over," he says.

Geo Ten was the Italian mafia leader. He walks with ten guys all the time. The old bastard is paranoid and he has a right to.

"I would love to meet him," I smile.

"Not at my fucking place of business, out," he says and I stood studying him.

"Hmmm?" I tilt my head slightly. "You're fucking his daughter. I found video feed at a local bar," I burst out laughing a little surprise.

"Shut up and go," he snaps.

"Oh, you're so fucking dead. Write my memoir before your dumbass dies," I kept laughing hopping into my jeep heading to dad.
