Although Adrian was slightly late for the lunch appointment. President Chen was not angry, instead, he was understanding and both of them had a great discussion. They even finalise the collaboration details before president Chen left country S.
After the lunch appointment, assistant Zhang came to pick Adrian up from the restaurant.
"How is she?" Adrian asked assistant Zhang.
"I send her to the doctor. The doctor said she had badly sprained her ankle but with enough rest, her injury will heal quickly. After that, I send her home and watched her safely went into her house before I left." assistant Zhang reported Angel's condition to Adrian
"Ok, send me back to the company first," Adrian told assistant Zhang.
After the lunch appointment, Adrian went back to the company to work but when he could not focus at all. He kept looking at Angel empty work station through his window. He was hesitating if he should call Angel to show concern and ask if she was ok. He was frustrated as he could not find any reason to call her but he did not know why he wants to call her and look for her.
Just before he knock-off, he decided to call Angel.
"President, is there any matters? Why did you call me?" Angel was a little shock to see Adrian call her. She thought that her boss was looking for her for urgent matters.
"I just want to ask how is your leg?" Adrian told Angel.
"Oh..my leg. It is just a little injured, I will be fine in a few days. I will go back to work soon."
"Are you sure? How could you be so careless, is work more than your health? You could have slowly come down, I heard you run down from the stair and got yourself injured. If you do not take care of yourself and get yourself injured again during work then you do not need to come back anymore. And for now, you are not to come back before you fully recovered." Adrian was trying to be strict so that Angel would get his 'warning'.
"Yes, boss. I will look out for myself in the future." Angel's voice was so sweet and cute like she was coaxing her boss and Adrian's heart skipped a beat when he heard her.
"Ok, I will hang up now."

After 2 days, Angel went back to work. Adrian saw her at her desk and frown. He walks towards her.
"Didn't I told you to rest at home? Why did you come back just after 2 days?" Adrian asked Angel
"Good morning, president. I am alright now and can walk as usual."
Angel showed Adrian how well she could walk but she ends up losing her balance and fell. Adrian saw that she was about to fall went to her and caught her just in time. He quickly pushed her up and let her stand on her own. Angel was very shocked when her boss caught her.
"You call this alright? Assistant Zhang, send her home immediately." Adrian looks towards assistant Zhang and ordered.
Angel saw that Adrian was chasing her home and quickly grab Adrian's hands but when she saw what she was doing, she quickly let go.
"No, I don't want to go home. I get really bored at home and I already have rested enough these two days. Let me stay, please. Boss, please." Angel look at Adrian and kept blinking her pleading eyes.
Adrian felt his heartbeat increasing when he saw her actions and quickly look away.
"Ok, You can stay but you should not keep walking around, If you want to pass me any document, just ask assistant Zhang to do it."
Adrian quickly walks to his office after telling Angel. His heart kept beating quickly and it can't seem to slow down. It is the first time Angel has address him as boss, not president and he felt a sense of closeness.
"Thank you, boss!" Angel was very happy that she could stay.
Adrian shook his head while he walks and a small smile was shown on his faces but he did not show it to anyone.
