Gold felt fluid and hot again like her old self. The distance between them was closing, as they gradually drifted closer to each other. She felt that old magnetic pull from before her transformation. Joon was silently caller her near to him, and she could not help but answer. Gold wasn't back in the center of Earth. This was on the surface, near a beautiful lagoon in a cavern. She wonder what it was about him that was now turn Gold insides to liquid. Days ago she didn't even sense his presences in the carven, granted the cavern was grand and span was far beyond what she could see. Her time perception was underdeveloped. She was barely growing use to the light cycles on land. The core always radiated light; it shifted in waves and oscillations from the magnetic currents. Their hands laid side by side, not touching but so close. Her thoughts wondered in that moment, as her appetite for him grew. She wished he would stay this close to her always.
Just then their eyes connected, and he began to move away. Gold opened her eyes, not knowing when they had closed. Suddenly she could see more intensely than before. The vibrations of energies were all around her. In every corner and crests they became visibly clear. The entire cavern had life moving throughout it, everywhere. She could see what she did not notice before. Her mind in this realm expanded.
Joon seemed noticeably fatigued. Sweat had developed on his brow and his breath was a bite labored. When Gold looked into his eyes she could see a heat pulsing and coiling inside him. The red and greens dance with fever under her gaze. He sat upright and composed.
Joon was struggle to hold back. He could not remember why he got so close. It was a challenge to match her levels. He knew to match with another being often required him to amplify or suppress his own. He was a little out of practice after resting for such a long time.
Joon instructed in a slight breathless tone, "Look at your hands."
