"Mmmm…." Ying Yue rolled on the bed as she rubbed her eyes. The thick curtains prevented sunlight from entering the room and it left her confused. "Is it evening or midnight? Did I wake up too early?" she mumbled dazedly, taking in the bedside lamp that cast dim lighting in the room.
"Ughh…" Ying Yue pushed herself to sit on the bed as she borrowed her face inside the plushy blanket. She wiped the drool off her face as her gaze landed on the BL comics that she had been reading before she fell asleep.
She pulled out her phone from the bedside table to look at the time. Sigh… She overslept. It was already past noon.
After going on a shopping spree yesterday, she was excited to meet her boyfriend and give him the things she had purchased for him. But when she called him, he informed her that he was working overnight and would be staying at the office.
He forgot to mention it to her since there was a meeting earlier.
