"What the hell happened here?"
"This is terrible."
Those were the first words that came out of the investigator Arrot Golms and his assistant Barbara Katson uppon seeing the 'crime scene'.
"So this is a murder scene right?" Upon 24 years that he had done this job this was the first time he had seen something like this.
"Seeing this I would say that this is a prank to scare peoples away, but this smell is definitely..."
"Yeah it's blood. And those parts all around are those of an human body."
In the middle of a street was found a large pool of blood. About the body parts that Golms was talking, there were micemeats, but it wasn't dificult to say that those were human parts.
"It looks like the body has exploded by a bomb."
"That would be the most logical gues right? But we don't see gun power left behind by a explosion nor we find bomb parts Ms.Katson."
"A new developed kind of bomb?"
"And they tested it in an passer by? That's what are you saying?"
"N-no, I..."
One of the polices investigating the scene came closer to them.
"Investigator Golms, about the bomb thing the only wittnes we could find said that he didn't hear any explosion. He said he only heard screams and when he got here he didn't find anything. We got the call from him in the morning. Because of the dark he didn't see the crime scene."
"And that wittnes, what was he doing out in that time?"
"He said that he was coming home from his work after a stop in a nearby market. We confirmed that he left his work a little past 20:00 and he found the 'victime' around 5:30 this morning when he was going to the train station to leave in a trip. He had taked a week of from the work going in contryside. The reason is 'to relieve work stress'."
"Anything suspicious about his behavior?"
"N-No sir."
"What is happening with this world?"
"Sir?"
"Have you seen the recent news in internet?"
At his question they understood what he was talking about. Since a week ago news about supernatural phenomens were spread world wide in the internet. Of course nothing was made official and was left in the shadows as a bad prank.
"Are you talking about those fake news sir?"
"Mr.Golms do you belive those kind of things?"
They thought his age was getting into him.
"Fake or not it doesn't matter but this old man instict is catching bad winds."
