Chapter 27 - Chapter 11. Welcome Back! (Part 1)

'They are still not back' thought Eroda as he paced himself around the room. Books containing exuberant magic power laid around as if they were trash along with scrolls that could bring mayhem whenever he wanted.

It has been a while since the three children left. Eroda has been asking himself this whole time if he made the right decision back then to tell them about the Dungeon of Wishes. One of the reasons is because of its low success rate over the years, and also because it has been used as a trial for the strong to conquer. It is known that the master that took the less time to complete it was the wielder of the Shaping Sword and even him took 3 months to be able to do it.

The Shaping Sword is a weapon with enormous powers, it had taken many names by the ones that had met it, and it is almost impossible to track as the last person who wielded it died around 300 years ago, making its power sealed. In fact, there is a rumor that it has never been completely released from its seal. If that is true, then that makes it truly terrifying!

It is often known like that because it takes shape as the weapon that has the most compatibility with the one who will wield it.

But even so, that same person who had it took 3 months to pass through The Wisher, a being that is as absolute as one of the Gods…

A shudder runs through Eroda as he remembers that monster. Even if he has twice the guts, he would never want to face that lunatic by his own volition.

So, if the children went to that place, it wouldn't wonder him that it would take them a couple of years to go through it… if they go through it at all.

Then, he suddenly felt a familiar aura, it is faint, almost impossible to notice, but it has that same… no, it is mixed with another few ones! And they are getting near… it might be-

"Eroda!" suddenly shouts Trace while going into the house

"What is it?" Asks Eroda, woken up from his reverie and mindful as it might be some bad news about Arapi Kingdom that has started to move.

"It's them! The children and another 3 people are coming here!"

'It was truly them!' Thought Eroda as his lips are now forming a wide smile and says "It seems they got stronger in this short span of time, huh"

"Yes, I noticed a strange presence coming near, they aren't really close, but they will get here in about an hour" Says Trace, also remembering what the children said before they left. Emotions welled inside him and his chest pushed out with pride as if those kids were his own family.

"If they could do it, then we might have a chance to get scot-free of sacrifices against Arapi Kingdom…"

"Well, it was to be expected, they are the successors of those people" Says Trace as if it is a matter of fact while showing a cheerful smile.

"Yeah, they are" Says Eroda as he waits for those three to come, the children that were left with hope from their Masters, from his Comrades.

They are coming and thus the wheels of destiny started working crazily as steps are closing in.

----------------------------------------------------------

"Your Majesty, I have come to inform you that those three have indeed died" Says one of the informants of the King as he kneels down, bowing his head respectfully.

"…They are dead, huh" Says the King while thinking, a smile crosses his face as he contemplates. In the previous battle they had lost more than 20 thousand soldiers, it was a heavy hit to the Kingdom. He had never though they would get defeated by that small village and was resolute to squash it under his palm. But those existence were rather troublesome!

Now that he knows that those three are dead, they would strike again! A vicious grin appears on the King's face, but he hides it quickly.

'We need to recruit more soldiers' Of course, they would have to take time from it because they have to recruit more soldiers and train them for the incoming battle, but it might have been a lucky hit for them that something happened about the same time they attacked.

Foreigners appeared, thousands, hundred thousand, maybe millions of them and more are still appearing. If it was back then, they were weaker than a normal citizen, but now, they are as strong as many foot soldiers, still, there aren't any that could go against their Elite, but it is just a matter of time for them to become that strong. Maybe a few of them might become as strong as some Legends.

A smile full of greed as if forgetting his previous failure appears on the King as he orders authoritatively "Ask for the foreigner with the most power on the Kingdom and bring him here"

"Yes, your Majesty" His minions stand up and bows again to his King before leaving, fully committed to fulfill his order.

------------------------------------------------------

Tyrfing was a normal female warrior at first, she didn't really have any ambition on the game more than having fun, but it seemed the game wanted her to do something else.

She never expected for things to turn out like this, as she normally was a peaceful young lad that simply wanted to go through university at ease. But once on the game, her true nature came out as she loved to battle and fight against hordes of people and monsters.

Because of the inability of being unable to do it just by herself, she started gathering with people and entering parties. But she didn't like being commanded so she became a leader herself, eventually commanding great groups of people for small raids against powerful monsters. While her personal power wasn't something that great, she was still revered as one of the most powerful users because of her leadership's skills.

She became the Guild Master of the Prinny Brigade, at first it was a small group of people. but it started growing exponentially as time passed becoming the Guild with the most power in the Kingdom of Arapi, one of the Major Kingdoms, and one of the strongest of the whole continent.

She also became a Ranked Player to further improve the popularity of the Guild, and now many seek for her to hold meetings and alliances. There were also those that challenged them and wanted their power, but she simply subjugated them, as the complains of her being a woman died down, she became stronger and stronger. Squashing everyone on her path!

And now, an envoy of the King has come to her headquarters as she was taking a rest and revising the Guild's current situation.

"Miss Tyrfing, it has been informed to us that you hold the most powerful position as a Foreigner in this Kingdom"

"Yes, that's true, and may I ask what your business here is?" She answered without hesitation. While there was a chance that she wasn't the strongest, she most definitely is the one with the most influence, or so she strongly believed.

"The King wants you to meet him in a conference"

At those words she perks up and with a nod she answers with "I will go!"

Soon enough, she is taken to the King. It was rare to even get a meeting with the Lord of a City, as they hold big positions in the Kingdom, but now she is here, in front of one of the most influential people on the whole Parallel

"My King, did you ask for me?" She asks in a polite manner while taking a kneeling position. While she wasn't fond of formalities, she still knew that it would be better to show cordiality to the King.

"Yes, I have a mission for you" He solemnly says, as if looking down on the world.

At those words she is smiling inside, after all, it is a mission from the King!

"I need the strength of your people to invade a place called Hellish Village"

'A Village?' She is asking herself because if the King wanted, he would just wipe a city clean with all the soldiers he has.

"The Kingdom will assist you with an army of 5000 strong"

But then, her thoughts clear, suspiciousness clears up as a window appears before her

- New Quest! The Kingdom's Vanguards

The King has asked of you to help the Kingdom of Arapi with your soldiers at attacking a place called Hellish Village and getting rid of their people.

It has been known that this place has extremely strong people safeguarding it, that even the difficulty level might be changed.

Thus, preparations must be done as the Kingdom will signal you to go

Difficulty Level: B+

Depends on the outcome of the battle

"May I know your answer?" Asks the King. A vicious glint flashes through his eyes as he looks at Tyrfing change of expression to one of seriousness.

-Do you wish to accept the Quest? If denied, the fame of you and your guild will drop down and you might lose your contributions to the Kingdom

A smile appears on Tyrfing's face as her crimson eyes glows and her silver hair seems to be fluttering in the air, just one word comes from her mouth to that message. 'This will be a great Challenge'

"Yes"

-You have accepted the Quest!

"Good, then you shall stand up and leave to tell your people, I will notify you of the time of departure" Says the King, maintaining a dignified and composed expression.

"I will, and your Majesty, we will come victorious!" She says with confidence on her voice as she leaves the room. Clear fighting spirit is felt from her back as she walks, each step forward forged with dignity and pressure!

The King just smiles satisfied and says "Of course".

-----------------------------------------------------

"Were you looking for us, my Queen?" Asks Brazen that is with Strike taking a kneeling position.

"You shall stand up, gentlemen"

"As you wish, your Highness" Says Brazen while standing up along with Strike

"As you said, I was looking for you, it has been told to us that a crack appeared on the Blue Mountains area, and I would like to ask for your help in this matter, as it seems it is a grave one"

A smile appears on both men as Brazen just asks the Queen "I am sorry for my rudeness, but I shall ask first, this is about the Underworld, right?"

The Queen as if she is sighing inside nods and says "Yes, it is. It seems the Seal that was made is starting to weaken as now many evil beings are starting to appear, but the one on the Blue Mountains area looks alarming, thus I am asking for your cooperation on this matter, may I ask for you answer?"

When the Queen finishes with her speech a window appears before Brazen and a smile forms on his face

- New Quest! The Queen's Raiders

It has been asked of you by the Queen of Krainall Kingdom to form a raid and go inspect the Blue Mountain's area.

It is your duty to release the kingdom by dealing with what is happening there.

You shall inform the Kingdom when you are done

Difficulty Level: B+

Rewards

Depends on the outcome of the mission

-Do you wish to accept the Quest? If denied, the fame of you and your guild will drop down and you might lose your contributions to the Kingdom

"I shall clean and research that place for you, my Queen" Brazen says as he bows his head respectfully, without showing the savage grins appearing on his face.

-You have accepted the Quest!

"Thank you, gentlemen. The Kingdom will assist you with 2000-foot soldiers, you may leave now"

"Yes, your Majesty" They both say as they take their leave

A grin forms on their faces; after all, it is a B+ Level Quest! That would mean this Raid will be a huge! And even more, the clues to open the Underworld may lie in there. Of course, it wouldn't be easy as it is an A Level quest it might take a while to fulfill the requirements to open it

But this is a great opportunity for information, and they wouldn't miss it, as they are decided to rule over this game.

"Shall our raid begin" Says Brazen while leaving the place. Greed and savagery on his expression as he clutches his hands tightly.
