The next day, while having breakfast, Sona felt Madison's glances disguised to her. "What is it, Mom?" She asked.
"Daughter, if you want to stay home today, that's okay. I'm gonna go out to work in a little while, but you can be alone." Madison said with a worried look. After what she saw happen to those teenagers who used drugs, she became concerned that these people would return to her daughter in school for revenge.
Sona, understanding where Madison's concern came from, answered with a calm and confident voice. "Don't worry, Mom, I still have that video we shot that day, remember? They won't have the courage to do anything against me as long as I have that."
Madison seeing the calm her daughter was showing, calmed down too. She was still a little worried, but if her daughter was quiet about it, Madison decided to let this guy go for now. Maybe if it was before she would worry more, but after what happened to them this weekend, Madison had more confidence in her daughter, who showed calm in all situations, and a maturity that Madison had never seen before. 'I think my baby has matured. She thought she was happy.
After a peaceful breakfast, Madison went to work and Sona went to school. This being one of the first opportunities for her to walk around the world to find out what it's like, Sona, even with the money to get a taxi, decided to go to school on foot since it wasn't too far from there.
Along the way, Sona saw something that made the goddess of music jealous. Some people of her age were talking together, laughing, some even holding hands apparently being couples. In her old life, Sona couldn't talk, so having interpersonal relationships was very difficult, as people usually discriminated against her for being mute. Now that she has a chance to do that, Sona wanted to make the most of it.
Entering the building with her slightly worn-out uniform, Sona has already begun to notice a change in atmosphere. Many people laughing and playing with each other, but Sona could feel some negative energy being directed at her and getting closer and closer. When she turned to look where she was coming from, she saw the first person she didn't like on this planet, Daphne Devoe, coming towards her with a smile followed by three other girls of the same age.
For Sona, who was used to a diversified world, with people who had hair of all colors, skins of all colors, even skeletons of all shapes, to see Daphne and her friends with blond hair, blue or green eyes and wearing a similar uniform, made it a little difficult for Sona to differentiate who was who. But feeling such great hatred coming from a single person directed at her, Sona knew that this girl was definitely Daphne.
"Hey, isn't that the blue pig decided to go back to school?" Daphne said with an arrogant smile on her face.
"Today she has oral exam Daphne, she came to miss all the questions, as always." One of the very similar blonde girls said with a face as she looked at Sona.
When the other girls heard these insults, they began to laugh waiting to see Angela get angry, but to their disappointment, the blue-haired girl was perfectly calm, with no apparent rage on her face.
"Was that supposed to be funny?" Sona said with a selfless glance.
Seeing that her reaction was not as expected, the girls' anger grew even bigger. "It'd be hard to say anything funnier than those faded old clothes you wear." Another girl in the group said, invoking the laughter of the other girls.
Sona raised an eyebrow, insulting a person because of his appearance after feeling threatened was even normal, but this girl wore her worn-out clothes to insult her? Insult her for not having that kind of money?
"With every word that comes out of your mouth, your futility only becomes more and more apparent. I ask you not to speak to me again, I prefer to keep my distance in case this kind of thing is contagious." Sona said as she stepped back with a disgusting face.
When the girl who did that saw the disgusting face that the girl who was always shrinking with the insults was giving her, her anger fired even more. "Who do you think you're looking at with that ugly face, you dirty pig?"
"So it means that besides being stupid, you are also blind to not being able to even discern where a look is being directed? Pathetic..." Sona also said with a selfless expression on her face and began to leave this band of hyenas behind, but before she could getaway, a hand appeared in front of her.
Daphne with her arm outstretched said. "Where do you think you're going? Do you think we let you out?"
'I really avoid trouble, but these mortals are really asking for it.' Sona thought while saying with a scary look. "You've got five seconds to get that disgusting hand out of my face."
Daphne wavered a little after she saw that look. Every time they intimidated this blue pig, she was always scared and never resurrected. But since Saturday, she looks like someone else. When she looked sideways, the corridor that was normally very noisy, was now totally silent looking at what was happening between them. With so many people watching, Daphne could not back down, so with renewed determination, she faced Sona defiantly. "And what are you gonna do if I don't?"
Sona started counting. ""5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0." Sona was ready to break Daphne's arm when a male voice came to interrupt.
"Daphne, what the fuck are you doing?" A voice of a 17-year-old boy came from behind Sona.
When she turned to see who she was, a muscular young man with long brown hair came walking towards her with a hostile look towards Daphne.
