Magi decided to finish reading an underrated psycho thriller novel entitled Who Killed The Countess during her overnight stay in a work seminar. Oddly, a desert was delivered in her suite. Her favorite- strawberry cake. After eating, she fell asleep.
When she woke up, felt heavy in her left hand and see a young black-haired boy sobbing next to her. Feeling the need to comfort the lad, she stretched her arms trying to dishevel the young boy's hair. But to her surprise, her hand seems smaller.
The little boy flinched. His crimson eyes looked at her with relief. "Selene", the boy gently pressed her hand. "I'm glad.." His voice is coarse.
Feeling a bit confused as to whose Selene the boy is calling out for when a red-haired lady wearing an imperial clothing dashed into her bed. A mix of worry and relief can be seen in her golden eyes.
"Young master, may you please call the physician to attend to our lady's needs." The woman asked gently on the boy next to her.
A flashy blond haired boy busted in her room. "Yofiel!" The boy who is about to go out of her room called the blondie lad. Blondie hit the crimson eyed boy's head. Magi for a moment flinched.
"It's Crown Prince Yofiel to you, Young Duke Spain!" for addressing him so informally!
Then a silver haired teenage boy knocked off the two little boys's head and brushed them off to give way to the nurses and maids who has been coming to and from the room. "Don't startle the young lady! She just woke up from being a week of sleeping."
"But Dalton, as my future knight, you are not supposed to hit your crown prince", the blond lad said while gritting his teeth.
The teen named Dalton disheveled the hair of the so called crown prince. "My apologies, Young Lady Selene and Countess Aerienne." The teen seems to refer to the red haired lady in imperial dress.
A suddenly flash hit her. A storm of her past and the current owner of the body's memory flooded. She's no longer the carefree and clumsy Magi but she is Selene. The people around her are familiar because.. not only that these boys are closed with Selene but these are the main characters in the book she was reading before she had fallen asleep.. No, more like, been poisoned. Selene, as she recalls her name. She's an extra character who has been sacrificed for a dark mage to unlock his power!
But she's young right now. Looking at her hands. She has the power to change her fate. Or does she?
She trembled in thought but she won't let the book decides. She is determined to change her unfortunate destiny.
