The leader of Seraphkin, Frans, was a level 68 Epic warrior in the current game version. He was very powerful.
When the three Orc legions were attacking the city, he was not bothered and showed no intention of taking part in the war outside. He wanted to make use of the city fortifications to force the Orcs to retreat.
Even though the Seraphkin were strong, they could not avoid casualties in a war. And since they people valued their precious lives, they tried to avoid a direct confrontation, whenever possible. An example would be that they preferred arrows over the use of swords.
Every Seraphkin person had memory inheritance. They looked forward to living in a sky city and becoming the righteous angels of the Light.
Whenever a Seraphkin member attained level 70, the Holy Light would descend and bring him to their sacred ground.
They would receive the training and inheritance of the sky city. They also had a chance to become the angels!
