Chereads / I Am A Legendary BOSS / Chapter 33 - Moses

Chapter 33 - Moses

Usually, the town's construction sites were extremely hot, full of activity, and filled with peasants drenched in sweat…

Unfortunately, the weather was terrible today and it had started to rain heavily.

William was dressed in a purple robe as he held onto an umbrella and walked on the greenstone path.

When some of the workers saw his gaze, as they chatted and stayed out of the rain, they shivered in fear because they could feel their wages for this afternoon disappear with this rain…

"Hmph, isn't it just rain? Why did they stop working?" William glanced at Nox who was following behind him.

"My Lord, is this just rain?" Nox was shifting his helmet upright in despair. Ignoring the loud banging sounds on his head, he pointed at the hailstones on the ground that were still emitting cold air…

"Who knows… This is the f*cking tropics, how could there be hail?" The corners of William's lips twitched. He was about to go look for Moses and now it suddenly started raining heavily. As he approached Moses, the rain got heavier and even turned to hail. It was as if the skies were stopping him from finding Moses.

With his premonition ability, Moses should already know what he was here for. That was why he had changed the weather and made it rain this extremely cooling hail shower.

However, this wouldn't stop William from finding him.

Not long after, he arrived in front of a fortune-telling hut and waved Nox away. "You can go back now. I'm going to get my fortune told for tomorrow's journey."

"Yes, my Lord." Nox looked at him and nodded. To him, his Lord did know about the circumstances and knew that there was a chance he wouldn't return after this journey.

"Bang bang!" William knocked on the door.

No one replied.

"Thump, thump!"

Still no one.

"Bang bang bang bang bang…"

"Creak." A devilish looking young man with long, silver hair opened the door. His eyes were a little dazed, and there was a trace of saliva at the corner of his mouth. His eyes looked behind William and looked around before he realized what was happening. "Aiyo, my Lord, what kind of hail brought you here? This is really weird. How can this place be covered in hail?"

The corners of William's lips twitched. He knew this person was a b*tch, but he did not expect him to be so cheap…

Moses was one of the few in version 1.0 who had a higher level than the maximum level.

In the year of open beta, he had not used any magic that was beyond level 69. From the start, he kept acting and looked at every player with an aura of a hidden boss.

And he was that big boss…

"Moses, why are you sleeping in the middle of the day? Do you not want any business?" William kept his umbrella and walked into the dim hut. Magical items were messily thrown all over the place.

Crystal balls, gems, and rare and weird objects were everywhere. At the same time, there was a painting hanging on the wall that included some unreadable magical symbols!

The only chair his customers could sit on was occupied by a darn black cat.

Moses looked extremely young, with a soft yet dark handsomeness. His eyes were filled with confusion as he yawned. "I don't have any business anyway. I don't open for six months and once I do, it can feed me for a year. As long as your Honor's territory doesn't get taken, I plan to await death here with your Honor…"

"…" William thought for two seconds before he patted his shoulders. "Help me by reading if my journey to Blue Moon town will be successful!"

"Sure." Moses got up to take a crystal ball.

However, when he turned around, William took the chance to inspect his attributes.

He didn't need to worry about being discovered. It was a player-exclusive ability. Even if the Creator was here, he wouldn't be able to sense it either.

Moses Holyvein

Race: Human

Bloodline Potential: Legendary

Occupation: ?

Level: ?

Health: ?

Alright, apart from his bloodline potential and race, everything else had question marks.

However, there was something that was fortunate.

Being handsome was a powerful skill because he would leave an extremely good impression from their first meeting.

A reminder bing sounded.

Moses's impression points increased by 80 points.

That was pretty good.

This was a good start.

"Reach out and hold the crystal ball with me." From the many crystal balls, Moses picked a pale blue one and placed it on the table.

William quietly placed his hands on the crystal ball and Moses covered them with his own hands. A cooling feeling transmitted through his hands and into the crystal ball.

However, that cooling feeling that passed through his body, made William shiver with a chill that crawled up his spine.

He glanced at Moses, then at the shining crystal ball. He felt that something was amiss.

When he was a normal player, he had his fortune read, however, players had no future, so nothing could be read.

But…

The fortune-teller didn't need to grab his hands!

There was nothing like this!

Was the rumor about Moses true?

He preferred men…

Various images appeared in the crystal ball.

William could not understand it. He would not be able to read it even if he had been reborn. If he could understand, then he would not need the fortune tellers in the continent.

Moses looked carefully at the images in the crystal ball. After a few minutes, he let go of his hands and licked his lips, before he said, "I can't see any bad things. Everything will go smoothly. There will be nothing bad or good about this trip."

"Can I change anything? Such as getting some benefits?" William asked.

"No, I can only tell you if you're lucky or unlucky. If I said more, it would be inaccurate. Besides, there's nothing you can change with your current ability." Moses curled his finger around his hair, shaking his head as he sat on the chair.

"I see!" William nodded, not asking anything else. He took out five gold coins from his pocket and placed them on the table.

Moses took them happily before he stood up and said to William, "Welcome again, your Honor!"

"Moses!" William glanced at the black cat whose level he couldn't read and carried it carefully before he placed it on the table and sat down.

The black cat crawled onto Moses' lap willingly, letting its owner stroke its head ruthlessly.

At this point, Moses finally seemed to have heard William's words. He asked in confusion, "Is there anything else, your Honor? I won't go anywhere with you. I can only make premonitions and don't have any fighting ability. I don't even know how to kill a chicken…"

Moses without any fighting power? An enchanter that can't kill a chicken? William's heart skipped a beat. He thought very carefully before he finally said, "I've heard from others that you seem to have soul magic inheritance knowledge?"

Moses remained indifferent, his expression calm as if he did not understand what William was saying.

So William continued, "You know that I'm a half-blooded Elf. But since I have so many pure-blooded Elven guards, it also proves that I'm Elven royalty…"

Moses raised an eyebrow at William. "So? Your Highness?"

Slam!

William stood up and slapped the table, shouting, "Someone told me that you will teach me the best soul magic.

"Besides, have you forgotten your promise?

"Have you forgotten what you agreed to?

"Did you forget that someone told you to give me the best soul magic?"

"…?" Moses was really confused this time.

However, William had already stretched his hand out, as if waiting for him to hand something over.

The corners of Moses' lips twitched. He didn't believe that William could see through his identity. However, he had a feeling that he had been tricked, so he asked directly, "How did your Highness find out that I own the inheritance knowledge for soul magic?"

He couldn't bring himself to flare up at William directly. But what had he agreed to?

Why didn't he know about it…

Although William was very scared, he still continued his act. "I think you should know where I got my information from, especially about why you are here.

"Besides, I'm the Lord. I'll protect your fortune-telling shop in the future!"

Moses thought for a while as if thinking of something. He threw the black cat to the side and said decisively, "It's not that I cannot help you. However, you have to promise me one thing and then I'll teach you the complete soul magic inheritance knowledge. If not, it's very possible that you will lose some skills…"

William rubbed his chin. "Tsk, you still have a condition. What is your condition?"

"Not at the moment!" Moses told him to wait patiently as he returned to his bedroom. There were some drum-like sounds before he took out a new magic scroll and put it on the table.

William glanced at it…

There was no question.

This was a soul magic inheritance scroll that had just been made.

It was named Saint Soul Magic!

And the name of its creator…
