CHAPTER 22
Gee couldn't see Yibo because he was being covered by the bodyguards so she stopped running and took a deep breath and shouted.
Gee: Senior YIBO! Thank you very much! (she was bowing)
Yibo stopped and turned his head to look at her.
Gee: Im sorry for misunderstanding you. I thought you were really that cold but im really happy that you weren't. Thank you for giving them another chance. thank you for helping them. (her voice was loud)
Yibo gave his bodyguards a look and nodded to them. They opened a space so Yibo walked towards her then he bowed.
Yibo: I'm sorry too.
Gee was surprised she raised her head and immediately help Yibo raised his head.
Gee: hey senior Yibo, you don't have to do that, I should be the one to apologize.
Yibo stood up but he bowed his head instead.
Yibo: I thought you were stupid back there
Gee was surprised but she laughed.
Yibo: I didn't helped them because I agree with what you said, I just did it so that I can prove to you that whatever help we give them, they won't pass this batch.
Gee: (smiled) but Se Ju was able to pass right? and they had improved too.
Yibo was just looking at her.
Gee: (smiling) They were even thankful to you, senior Yibo anf they didn't left with shoulders down, instead they regained more hope.
Yibo: No it wasn't me (he looked away and turned his back walking away from her)
Gee: No senior Yibo! It was you! (rans after him)
Yibo: (sighed) No
Gee: No, it was you!
Yibo: (released a deep breath) Fine
Gee: (smiled wider) hahahaha I knew it your just being shy hahaha
Yibo: No im not
Gee: Yes you are (she blocked him leaning to him looking straight at his eyes)
Yibo was startled.
Gee: Hahaha senior Yibo looks cold on the outside but actually has a soft spot inside but he is shy about it hahaha
Yibo's eyes wide open and grabbed Gee and covered her mouth.
Yibo: What should I do to keep your mouth
Gee: (removed his hands and was smiling like an idiot) Ice cream!
Yibo smirked and grab her in her collar then they started to walk after he released her collar. Yibo put on the face mask to her and his cap then they continued to walk. He looke at his bodyguards.
Yibo: Mr.Chen, we will just have an ice cream, I will be back.
The bodyguards bowed.
Meanhwile, Yuna was just watching them from a distance hiding on the wall. She came back because she forgot her cellphone. She was on her way when she saw Gee looking at Yibo who was talking to the four. She hid herself and watched how Yibo and Gee reconciled. She didn't noticed that Leo was also there.
Leo: Is senior Yibo gay?
Yuna was shocked she shook her head.
Yuna: of course not
She left Leo who was confused looking at the two.
The two were walking their way out of the compound when a car stopped in front of them, it was Sean's. Gee removed her face mask then she bowed to him and Sean and Yibo did a brofist.
Sean: where are you two heading?
Yibo: we're just going to buy ice cream
Sean: (smiling) You two are good now?
Gee and Yibo looked at each other then Gee burst to laugh a little but Yibo refrained himself from laughing.
Sean was surprised but he smiled at the two. He messed Gee's hair. Gee was surprised and was confused at what Sean did.
Gee was looking at Sean when her attention was caught by two persons, a male and female who looked like a couple riding a bicycle, they seemed to be racing but the girl was slow and the guy was keeping his pace with her. They were seemed to be having fun. Gee was following them but she was just looking at the bikes. She felt a little sad.
Gee: I hope Mr.Zhang will allow me to ride again even just inside the compound.
Yibo looked at Gee and he felt a little sympathy for her. He turned to look at Sean and was gesturing with his eyes asking his permission. Sean was able to understand then he sighed.
Sean: Just within the compound or if Yibo will be riding with you.
Gee was surprised she looked at Sean with puzzled eyes.
Sean: (was even surprised at himself) ah I mean, I will ask my brother.
Gee: (smiling) r-really senior Sean???
Yibo laughed silently shaking his head.
Sean: yeah, I 'll ask him later.
Gee: waaah thank you senior Sean!
Sean: But you have to promise, no racing okey?
Gee: ah-
Yibo: How will he race within the compound, and as if I would have a time riding with her.
Sean: ah yeah your right.
Gee was looking at Yibo.
Sean: oh well, just make sure you won't hurt yourself.
Gee: (smiling then she bowed) yes Mr.Zhang- ah hahha sorry senior Sean I thought you were Mr Zhang for a moment.
Sean was shocked but he just smiled. Yibo was keeping his laugh. Sean went ahead and waved at them. Then they started to walk.
Gee: hahaha its kinda weird but I really thought he was Mr.Zhang hahaha
Yibo: About our rematch…
Gee turned to look at Yibo.
Yibo: let's just do it some other time.
Gee: (serious) I'm sorry senior Yibo, I was not able to keep our deal, its been almost a month now.
Yibo: Just continue on what you are doing right now but don't do it just for the sake of getting close to me. Do it for yourself. (he was saying it but not looking at Gee)
Gee was surprised looking at Yibo. She was about to cry.
Gee: (stopped walking and was rubbing her eyes) senior Yibo
Yibo got worried he stopped walking and walked fast towards her holding her on her shoulders.
Yibo: hey what happened? (he was looking at her seriously)
Gee: (raised her head and smiling wide) haha senior Yibo why youre always saying nice things the least I expect it. You even did something I have no idea you would, you helped them out for me. Im really sorry that I thought you were heartless but I was wrong. Im glad I got to know you senior Yibo. I want to tell you that you just made my heart skipped a beat you know. (she said smiling at him)
Yibo was a little startled he wasn't expecting that so he put the face mask back on on Gee's face and pulled her cap down almost covering her face. Then he started walking fast leaving her. He was five feet away from her so Gee started to ran following him. She couldn't see clearly so she tripped and fell flat on the ground. Yibo was laughing at her he took out his phone and took a picture of her before he helped her up.
Gee: aah that was nice of you senior Yibo, really! You took a picture first before you helped me up. (complaining while Yibo helping her to stand)
Yibo was stopping himself from laughing. He fixed her cap up so she can see the path. Gee just pouted and glared at him shaking her head walking first. Yibo saved the photo on his crackhead folder. He smirked then he walked behind her.
The people were looking at them as they walk inside the ice cream house, although there were only few people during that time. Yibo ordered two chocolate flavored ice cream. Gee got curious.
Gee: senior Yibo, why did you ordered chocolate, I thought you like vanilla
Yibo: I want to know why you like this flavor (he said without looking at her)
Gee: (smiled) how does it taste?
Yibo: Not bad
Gee smiled and then they walk outside while they were eating it.
When Gee and Yibo came back from the ice cream house, they were still eating the ice cream. Gee was surprised to see a familiar figure coming out from a taxi with bags of groceries on his hand. The guy stood at the left side of the gate. He put down the ones he was holding with his right hand then he took out his phone from his pocket and dialed. Gee laughed, and Yibo was just looking at her.
Gee: Ahahahahaha I forgot my phone in my room.
Yibo was just looking at her. Gee seems to be enjoying on watching how the man was patiently waiting on his phone.
Yibo: Who is he?
Gee turned to look at him as she was still laughing.
Gee: He is Moru
Yibo: What is your relationship with him?
Gee: (smiling, she look at Moru who is still waiting on his phone) he is my brother, my mother, my guardian, my savior, my bestfriend and my wife hahahahahaha
Yibo couldn't understand what he is feeling right now looking at Gee. He felt sad and a bit jealous.
Yibo: What do you mean?
Gee: (still smiling looking at Moru, then turned to Yibo) He is actually Jake's bestfriend (she turned to Moru again) but eversince I came here in China, he became my guardian. He helped me in a lot of things.
Yibo seriously looking at her. He saw how serious Gee was talking looking at the guy.
Yibo: Do you like him?
Gee: (turned to look at him and smiled wide) of course! He is the second best brother I have! Second only because Jake is the best!
Yibo: (confused and sighed) I didn't mean that.
They were talking when finally Moru noticed them. He released a deep breath and shook his head when he saw Gee was laughing. So he put down the bags of groceries on his other hand then was looking sharply at Gee as he walks towards them.
Moru: You- why are you not answering your phone! (with his hands on his waist)
Gee: (laughing) hahahaha sorry Moru-chi I forgot my phone
Moru: (shocked) ha? Haaaish if that's the case, why didn't you called me?
Gee: hahahaha sorry I was eating ice cream (holding the cone but its just a small bite remain)
Moru got even more furious looking sharply at her. Gee was still laughing at him and hid from Yibo's back as Moru was following her. Yibo got irritated because of the two who were like children playing hide and seek at his back so he grabbed Gee on her collar. It made her realized something.
Gee: oh, hey Moru (she grabbed Moru on his shirt) senior Yibo, im sorry I forgot, I want you to meet my brother Moru, Moru this is senior Yibo
Moru looked at Yibo then he bowed. Yibo was not looking.
Moru: nice to meet you Mr. Yang Yibo, thank you for taking care of him, I hope he is not bothering you.
Yibo: (bowed) Nice to meet you too. (stood up) please excuse me but I have to go
Moru: (stood up) oh sure sure, sorry to bother you
Yibo nodded then he started to walk leaving the two. Gee followed him and was walking on his side.
Gee: senior Yibo, thank you for the ice cream and for everything (smiling)
Yibo gave her a look and a nod and gave her little smile, but still continue walking. Gee smiled back then he stopped following him.
Gee: take care on your work senior Yibo! Have a nice day! (she shouted waving at him)
Yibo just continued walking towards his bodyguard waiting for him beside a car. Gee was smiling looking at Yibo when Moru came embracing the grocery bags because he was holding three chocolate bars tapping it on her shoulders. Gee was surprised and got excited when she saw the chocolate flavored energy bars that Yibo used to give her. She took it with both hands with a very wide smile on her face.
Gee: hahahaha thank you man! (tapping Moru's shoulder), you know what, I missed eating this. Senior Yibo used to give this to me haha . Its my new favorite now. (smiling)
Yibo was looking at the two from his car's window. He noticed Gee was smiling and seemed to be excited holding the energy bars he used to give her. It made him smile.
Gee helped Moru with the groceries as they walk inside and went to the elevator. They reached the fifth floor and went to the unit she was staying.
Gee and Moru started to prepare in the kitchen. They were playing as usual, while she was helping him. They even fight swords using the knife but Moru stopped from attacking.
Moru: Hey we should stop using this we might really get ourselves hurt.
Gee nodded in agreement so they put down the knives and looked sharply at each other then both grabbed a piece of chopstick and resume in fighting. They exchanged few hits but Gee hit Moru on his shoulder with a strong force that shocked them. Moru was rubbing his arm with his mouth open and he was about to cry in pain looking at Gee. She was very shock but she burst into laughter when Moru has tears on his eyes.
Gee: AHAHAHAHAHA sorry man!
Moru throw his chopstick on Gee but she was able to dodge it that made him cry even more and made Gee laugh even louder her stomach was aching.
When they were eating. Gee told Moru everything that happened. She told him about their misunderstanding and how she was very happy that Yibo was not the kind of person she thought he is. Moru was smiling at how Gee's eyes were sparkling while she was talking about him.
Moru: I should formally thank him next time (his thoughts looking at how excited Gee was while mentioning Yibo) hey Gee, I want to ask you something
Gee stopped talking and looking at him asking through her eyes.
Moru: Do you still see Jake in him?
Gee was surprised but she smiled though with pain in her eyes as she look down.
Moru: (smiled) I hope you don't because they are two different persons.
Gee felt even more pain.
Moru: your senior Yibo will be hurt if he knew you were just after him because you see Jake in him. Im not saying you should forget about Jake but what I want you to remember is that they are different. Its wrong to look for Jake from the other people. Your senior Yibo, despite his aloof personality, he seems to like you, and it will disappoint him if he found out that you were just seeing him as Jake.
Gee felt guilty upon hearing it.
Gee: I'm sorry… (looking down)
Moru: (let out a breath) I understand how you miss him, but you have to remember that he is Yang Yibo.
Gee raised her head looking at Moru. Gee let out a deep breath and tried to smile.
Gee: thank you Moru, your right. Senior Yibo has been nice to me despite that he suddenly ignores me sometimes. Thank you for reminding me Moru.
Moru smiled then he put a piece of meat on her bowl. Gee smiled then she took it and happily put it her mouth. Then they continued eating.
While they are washing the dishes. Gee suddenly remembered something.
Gee: hey Moru, let's wait for Yuna to get back okey? I want you to meet her.
Moru: Oh Mr.Zhang's sister?
Gee: yeah (she smiled wide) guess what?
Moru: what?
Gee: she likes guys who can cook (smiling wide)
Moru: (stopped from washing) really???
Gee nodded consecutively.
Moru: Oh okey, sure sure hahahahahaha
Gee: hahahahaha (she throws her hands in the air but her hand was wet so Moru received a shower on his face he got wet down to his shirt) oops
Moru got mad so he wiped Gee's face with his hand which is wet and has foam of dishwashing soap. Gee was surprised by his attack so she took her revenge by wiping his face too. They exchange wipes on their faces until they were both look like they just had a shower from the rain.
They were drying themselves when they heard the door opened. It was Yuna. Gee got excited she pulled out Moru from her room. Yuna and Moru were both surprised to see each other. They were both looking at each other trying to recognize Rhen they both pointed at each other.
Yuna and Moru: You!?
Gee: (puzzled) you know each other?
Yuna: n-not exactly
Gee: huh? What do you mean?
Moru: we just encountered each other at the grocery store before when she took the last pack of shrimp.
Yuna: (shocked, she looks sharply at Moru) ha? You're the one who took it
Moru: what? Of course, not miss, I was able to hold it first.
Yuna: ha? No! it was me!
Gee was confused watching the two fight, she stepped in the middle of the two.
Gee: Wait! Stop! Can you two settle down. (spreading her hands)
The two gave each other a glare and both turned away. Gee was shaking her head looking at the two. She approached Moru and whispered to him.
Gee: hey Moru, why don't you just apologize to her, you are a man, you should be a gentleman you know.
Moru: (turn to her with shock) so you mean, your siding with her?
Gee: hey no, I mean (she sighed and then she bows to Yuna) I am very sorry Yuna for what happened, can you please forgive him for that incident.
Yuna and Moru were surprised they both raise her up.
Yuna: You don't have to apologize in his behalf Gee. (she bows to Moru) I am very sorry Mr.
Moru and Gee were both shocked so Gee grabbed Moru on his head and they both bow.
Moru: ah n-no Miss Zhang, its actually my fault, I am very sorry.
Gee stood up but the two are still bowing to each other.
Yuna: no, its actually my fault.
Moru: No Miss, its really my fault.
Yuna: no, its my fault, I should have let go of it.
Moru: no, really its my fault I should have given it to you.
Gee: (slapped her face out of frustration seeing the two) hey you two, what are you doing?
Moru and Yuna: (both stood up and were facing her) its really my fault.
Gee: eh? O-okey! you two apologized already right? can we now forget about it? By the way, what happened to the shrimp?
Moru and Yuna looked at each other then turned away and they simultaneously answered.
Moru: She gave it to the old lady.
Yuna: He gave it to the old lady.
The two were both surprised and gave another sharp look at each other.
Gee: Hey you two… (almost crying)
The two were both embarrassed, they both bowed again.
Moru and Yuna: I'm sorry
Gee: (let out a deep breath grabbed Moru on his shoulder turning him to face Yuna) let's just forget what happened okey, let's start again. Ah Yuna, I want you to meet my brother, my mother and my wife hahaha Moru Miyabi.
Yuna and Moru were both shocked.
Moru: dude, I told you to stop introducing me like that, they might think I'm gay
Yuna: Are you two d-dating?
Gee: (laughed out loud) ahahahahahaha YEAH hahahaha (she was holding her stomach while her other hand was still on Moru shoulder)
Moru: (looked at Gee with irritated eyes) I told you to stop saying that! Haishh
Yuna was confused, Gee was still laughing.
Gee: ahahaha sorry sorry hahahaha, no Moru is my guardian. (wiping her tears from laughing) Moru, she's Yuna Zhang, Mr. Zhang and senior Sean's younger sister.
Yuna and Moru: (bowed to each other) Nice to meet you.
Gee: hahaha you know what, I hope you two would become good friends (smiling wide and hitting Moru's side with her elbow) you two are both good cooks you know
Yuna and Moru were both surprised looking at each other and Gee was the happiest when she finally saw the two both smiled a little to each other.
