In a dark and long hallway the sound of boots walking ran out loud. The person with the boots was a man in his late 30's with dark brown hair with equally brown eyes. He looked to be tall, with a build made for fighting and a mean smirk in his lips as he ran his hands through his hair. He was one of the hired guards that checked on the kids every day to make sure they were fed and not dead.
He stopped in front of the door to his right, took the keys from his belt and opened the door. As soon as he stepped into the door, he got kicked in the side of his knees by two boys that were standing on the opposite sides of the door.
The guy dropped into the floor as he opened his mouth to scream when one of the boys wrapped a cloth around the guards neck, twisting the cloth and pulling it as hard as possible. The guard choking from the lack of oxygen tried to fight back when two other boys held his hands back. When all of this was happening, the protagonist of the story, Lis, walked up to the guard to ruthlessly shove her fingers into his eyes while a fairly tall girl put cuffs in him while the others were holding him down.
Lis pulled her hands back as she looked at the floor where the keys were laying and walked over there to pick it up while the kids were putting a cloth in the guards mouth.
After the resisting stopped, Lis once again walked up to the guy and grabbed his hair in a fistful to force him to look at her. She smiled at him in such a cute and innocent way that the guard almost thought he was looking at a different person.
"Hope you enjoyed that." She comminuted with her smile going wider as the guard shivered from hearing her voice.
Flashback
"Ok. Listen up, I will only say this once and will not repeat it again." Lis said to the teenagers in front of her.
"When the guard comes through the door I want you two…." Pointing at the biggest and tallest two boys in the room"....to kick the sides of his knees as hard as possible with your legs." The two boys nodded with determined eyes.
Lis looked around and stopped at a boy with broad shoulders and called out to him.The boy, nervous from the sudden attention, said yes.
"I want you to take your shirt off." Lis looked on boredly at the boy.
"Huh?" The boy freezes up from the strange question. He grabbed his shirt and proceeded to ask why.
The girl blinked and signed after hearing the boy. "It is so that you can wrap around his neck to make sure he stays in place and stops making any kind of noise."
"O-oh."
"Yeah, oh. Anyways, after you, the other guys will hold him down and tie him with the cuffs that I freed you guys from. When all of that is done stuff a cloth in his mouth" Lis commanied the kids in front of her.
The kids in the room all nodded their heads as they got ready in their positions.
"Let's get this show on the road!" Lis yells out while smiling from the obedience that was coming from these kids.
Flashback end
Pov Lis
'You know, Sexy this feels like the time when I started a riot in prison back in the 90's.' I blurred out in the heat of the moment.
'WHAT!' Sexy roared while I checked behind the door to see if there was anyone there.
From the looks of it there is no one here, usually the only time when the guards come to check on the kids while the others are somewhere else is when they have a meeting together.
I chuckled as I closed the door to walk towards the beaten up guard. 'Yeah, don't you have every single information about me?'
'Only the very basics! I don't know that you even went to prison.' Sexy huffed while searching his data to see if Lis was really in prison.
While that was happening I once again looked at the guard. He had blood coming out of his nose, mouth and eyes. His eyes looked the worst with blood dripping on the dirty floor like a waterfall.
The poor guard wanted to scream from the pain but the cloth blocked his vocals from expressing the pain.
I glanced around the kids to see their reaction, they varied from person to person in severity but all of them looked delighted and unsure.
I signed as I reached to hold the hands of the kid closest to me. In truth these kids went through a lot. They are scared by the violence but can't help themselves when they feel happiness from seeing the people who put them through pain and suffering.
Some of the kids in the room cried as they held each other for comfort.
"Everybody listen up." I alerted the kids around me as I searched the guards body for anything valuable. I stopped when I fished out two flip phones, a wallet with two IDs with some money, alongside with more keys and a notebook.
Just as I was going to stand up I saw a paper in the guy's other pocket. I picked it up and opened it. And to my utter surprise it was a map, a very detailed map for this place.
"Is this guy this dumb to have the map of this place with him?" I questioned while looking at the guy.
I shaked my head. "Never mind. Ok, everybody carefully listens to what I am about to say. We only have about 30 minutes or less to get out of this place. If you are wearing any shoes or anything that makes a lot of sound, then throw it away."
I pointed at the previous boys that helped me take down the guard, saying "We are going to strip this guy of his clothes and one of you is going to wear it. He has a code written in his notebook that is most likely the passcode to getting out of the outside door." I motioned the boys to the guard as I spoke.
The boys started to walk up to the guard that was now unconscious on the floor to strip him of his clothes.
"We are going to pretend to wear the cuffs that are on our hands to fool the other guards into thinking we are still prisoners." I say while holding the cuffs in my hands.
"This will cause an alarm normally but if there is an emergency situation that is going on, then the others will not think about it and assume the guard with us will take us to a safe location far away that they know of." I explain while the tallest and biggest boy in the room dress in the guards' clothing.
A hand goes up in the group of teenagers. The hand belonging to a cute small girl with large doe like eyes and pouty lips looks at me nervously.
I look at her and raise my hand to signal that she could say what she wants,
She puts her hand down to straighten her back from my glance. "U-um. W-what will be the e-emergency?" She stuttered.
My amused smile brightens as I hold one of the phones to my hand. "Who do people call when a terrible thing happens?" I ask.
The group in front of me looked at each other and then at me expecting the answer.
I signed as I dialed a known phone number quickly. "It's the police." I smile once again.
