"I am coming over." Luke said over the phone to Gwen after she explained to him what happened.
"No, Luke, it's 3am. Wait until morning." Gwen argued worry creasing her face as she heard how panicked he sounded.
"It doesn't matter, Gwen. I'm coming over." He said in a firm tone and cut the call. She placed the phone back on the drawer. Freya held her head with both of her hands on each side. She could feel a headache pounding through her head, she released a sigh.
She rubbed down her face with both hands and finally settled them on her knees on the bed.
"I'm sorry, Gwen for bringing a serial killer into your home." She said in a sad voice, and gauged Gwen's reaction.
Gwen was surprised, "Freya, don't appolize for that, I should be the one to apologize to you for failing to protect you."
"I know you tried your best, Gwen, and I'm very grateful to have you as my friend." She placed a hand on Gwen's arm trying to smile through her pain.
