"When I came back downstairs, I saw her laying down on the floor with blood pooling around her head. I went to check the pulse in her neck when Kat came back at that moment. She accused me of murdering her mom and said that since she didn't approve of me, I must have hated her." Caleb continued narrating what happened.
"Oh, Caleb, I am so sorry." Freya sympathized, and he nodded.
"It's fine, I only need to get out of her accusation because she told the police I did it. I explained to them what happened and barely escaped being arrested, but then she got her lawyer to sue me for murdering her mom."
"Oh my God, that is very terrible of Kat. How could she do that to you?"
"I know, I can't believe it either. I can see why she refused to set a date for the wedding, and that's because she didn't trust me enough." He said, looking sad.
