Freya sat up, pulling the red and ash colored duvet to her chest to cover herself. Her movement made them turn to her.
"Mommy!" Alice exclaimed and stretched her arms towards her. She let out a laugh at how excited her daughter looked to see her and picked her up from Luke's arms.
"Hey, baby. Hope you slept well?" Luke said as he flashed her his smile.
She felt her heart beat faster at how attractive he looked like that. He was wearing casual wear of a red button down and black slacks. His hair was sleek back as his handsome face sported his signature light beard. "Yeah, I did, but did you?"
He nodded as she glanced over his head at the clock on the wall, it was around 11:07am. She gasped in surprise as she looked back at him. Alice followed her lead and also let out a small gasp, making Luke chuckle at how cute both of them looked. "Why didn't you wake me up? It's almost afternoon and did you even get any sleep after we were done?"
