Freya brought out the plates as she turned around to see Luke walking into the kitchen. She raised an eyebrow at him in question as he approached her, but he only smiled.
She turned around to keep the plates on top of the drawers and as she did, she felt Luke wrap his arms around her waist as he slightly bent down to bring his lips to her ear.
He murmured, "We haven't continued what we started in the elevator this morning."
Since Alice was born, they had not been having much alone time with each other. That was something that usually put a distance between couples, but they were determined not to let that happen.
Her current pregnancy was from a night that they had Debby watch Alice. Luke wanted to spend more alone time with her and she wanted it even more. She wouldn't let them being busy with work or looking after Alice put a dent in their relationship.
