~ The mountains loomed over me as I stood at the base of it looking at the hiking trails ahead if me. Determined I began the hike with water bottle in hand and gronila6 bar in my back pocket. The sun moved across the sky as I made my way to the top of the mountain. Slow and steady but this was my spirit walk and I was determined to make it.
Suddenly a wolf howled in the distance and I stopped confused. Wolves are not apart of the Arizona wildlife. Cayotes and Javelina were for sure but not wolves and never in the mountains this far up. But there before me up ahead just starring at me was a damn wolf and it looked expectantly at me. What the fuck?~
I woke with a start staring at the white cieling above me and nearly screamed in pain as the movement hurt too damn much.
"Fuck!" I cursed trying to get a barring on my surroundings. I was in a white sterile room but it wasnt a hospital Thank the Goddess for that!
"I see you're finally awake. " a voice spoke and I looked to see a tired looking woman leaning against the door. She was maybe in her late thirties with dark red hair and tired hazel eyes.
"How long was I out?"
"Three days." she responded walking over to me with a stethoscope. "Now lay down while I check you over. You had some pretty bad sunburns and your feet were tore up horrible as well."
Glancing down I saw my feet wrapped in bandages and groaned at the fact that I would probably be kept on bed rest. Sunburn was nothing new...I either burned or I was pale as a ghost. There was no inbetween for me and my skin complexion.
"where am I?"
She didnt even look at me as she poked and prodded about my body. "Hellfire M.C. and I'm Doc." she looked offended by my sudden laughter but I couldn't have not found that funny no matter what. "I do not see how that is funny in the slightest. " she scowled and I laughed harder, barely hearing the door open and close again.
"I'm sorry really its just my brother is Doc for his family and it's really not that hilarious but I just remembered the day he pulled me aside and said to only ever refer to him as Doc around company because they didn't know his real name." I explained and jumped at the gruff voice next to me.
"What's your brother's real name?" I turned to look at the bulking man with graying hair and arms covered in tattoos.
I grinned wickedly at him, "I call him Bubba."
