In the nightime
At a bustling city night is the time to rest from after a day full of hardwork inside an inn people can be seen drinking and chatting happily .
A bard standing at the center
"Hear me man and women" he begin calling the people inside the inn
" for i shaal tell you the story of a man whom with his bravery fight againts the injustice this the story of adventure , the story of love , war , friendship and betrayal " he take a deep breath
" get ready for i shaal tell you the legend of king of king , the conqueror , and the magnificent ruler , bless his name"
"NOW LET THE STORY BEGIN"
With the shout the audience start cheering
when the sun have rise and shine to the village the life has started and the beggining of new day start .
The village neither not wealthy nor poor just enough for them to fend themselves .
People start get out from their house , the farmers walk to their field , womans walking together while carrying basket and clothes talking among themselves walking to the stream little childrens following them while playing with each other.
"Hey, don't run or you will fall" a woman reprimand them
"Okay ,okay" they repplied and slowing down .
Near the stream a farmer stood atop a stone while watching a herd of sheep drinking they pass the man and greet him .
This is the village of hamdel , a humble village near the river of twain .
In the yard in front of the house a man and his child is preaparing to hunt. A bow is hangging on the man shoulder , a woman came out of the house
"Fritz , here your lunch " she give the man food wraped in cloth
"Thank Adelina waht is it?" Fritz accept it and smell it
"It bread with chesee and smoked lamb meat inside , it your favorite richard " she smiled to the boy
"Really thanks mom"he smiled and snatched the food from his father hand and smell it
"The smell so delicious"
"We gotta go now " he reminded him
"Okay" he repliied while holding the cloth
"Eat it later , don't forget obey your father , be safe" she bent down and hug him
" where is my hug?"fritz reach out his hand
"None for you , be safe " she replied and wear a big smile on her face
"Whattt , richard let go " fritz said dejectly and begin walking
"Wait for me"
20 minutes later
The arrived in the forest
"We have arrived , now help me to check the trap " start searching for the trap
"Okay " richard started going to the place the trap set
They undo the trap that caught tha animal and gatherimg them
After a while
"How many you caught?, i caught 2 forest chicken and a rabbit" fritz asked while showing the game on his back
"I only get a rabbit" he replied while unhappy expression come in his face
"Haha, better luck next time, now let's go to the river to clean our game"
They start walking toward the river
When they almost arrive fritz stop in his track
"What happen?" Ask richard
"Something in the river , follow me and walk slowly "
Fritz walk ahead while crouching , when nearing the end of the vegetation he stalk behind the bush
A shocked look appear in his face
"It is a deer " he whispered to richard " take out your bow and aim carefully , this will be an excellent ecperience for you"
Richard dared not to neglect and start takimg his bow slowly , he draw an arrow and put it in the bow
"Breath slowly and concetrate , aim for the vital part"
Ricarhd nodded , and focusing the aim to the vital part , he take a deep breath and..
*swosh*
The arrow let loose
*thumph*
The arrow landed at the back head of the deer , it realese a shriek and second later fall down
"Good aim boy " praise fritz while rubbing richard head
"Haha it's my lucky day"
Fritz stand up "let's bring it back to the village " he walk to the deer , pick it up and holdit in his shoulder.
They start walking home
"Mom gonna be proud of me"
"Ofcourse, who is the one who teach you
anyway" he put on a proud face
"It is just one deer , and i heard from mother that you hunt a bear before , is that right?" He ask with expectant face
"Yes i had , that was about fifteen years ago when i still young"
"Tell me how you manage to hunt the bear"
"Okay , listen carefully , it was around fall that year we have bad harvest because of that i and my father as the village hunter tried to get enough food for us by hunting further inside the forest .
When i hunt that day i found a bear when he preparing to hibernate , i wait until it lower it defense and shoot it right in the head and it fall down that
because of that we get enough food to pass the winter but the bear meat is hard"
Fritz tell the story with a pridefull face "that gow i hunt a bear"
"I want to hunt a bear to "
"Hunting a bear is dangerous and with you right now it is impossible"
"Why ?"
"Because you cannot use arrow to kill a bear unless you use a skill"
"Skill , what is that?"he ask with confused sound
"Skill is something that make you more powerfull , you can get a skill by praticing a speciality.And by the way my skill name is snipe , that can make my arrow more powerfull so i can pierce the bear hide"
"That sound cool , i also want that"
"Then you to practice more"
"Ok i will pratice more so i can get a skill"
The walk continue
Around one hour later they arrive in the village
An old man walking near the entrance see both of them
"Hoy fritz , nice hunt you get there "
"It is my hunt village chief "richard said that while puff up hi chest
"Really , haha i know that you gonna be a good hunter like your father"
"Ofcourse he is , i am the one who teach him "
"I know , i know you should bring that home so adelina can preapare it"
"I will send some to you later village chief "reply fritz
"Really , then i will be waiting"
The strart walking again and not much later arrive at the house
"Mom we home "
Adelina who standing outside while mowing the grass stratled and stand
"How come you to already ?"
"Look i hunt a deer today "
"Really " shr take a look at fritz and see the deer "it really is , hmm tonight we will have it for dinner"
"Richard help me call mr. ron , he said he is looking for deer heart"
"Ok" he begin running to the village square
In the village there is a store with pouch emblem , richard get inside it and greeted by the sight of a middle looking oldman checking the goods while holding a book.
"Uncle ron " richard greet him
"Oh richard what are you doing here "he ask with a gentle smile
"My father said you are looking for deer heart , we hunt a deer today "
"Really , then let's go to your house " he put the book at the counter and put on the close sign
Sometimes later they arrive at the house
"Hoy fritz, your boy said that you caught a deer"
"Here look at this "fritz showing the deer that have been cut apart with clean cut showing his good skill
"Where is the heart?"
"Here you are" he handed the heart wrapped in leaf "for what it is?"
"The count daugther get sick , the healer said she need deer heart as the ingredient to make the medicine , so i will deliver it to the city tommorow, oh and here your payment
"City , i want go to " richard asking with pleading face
"Hmm , it your hunt and you are already old enough , if ron let you go with him you can go"reply fritz
"What it is your hunt richard , hmm it will.be no problem if you want to go i will be needing hand in the journey"
"Really thanks uncle ron"
"You better not make things hard for him in the journey richard "said fritz helpless
"thanks ron"
"No problem , i gotta go now , i need to prepare the journey , meet me in the morning tommorow at my house , okay bye" he walk away
Time pass on , they spent the dinner chating about going to the city and the hunt experience , richard really excited when talking
