While Zatiel's evolution to the Eternal Detachment Rank would exponentially improve the strength of his soul force and Omega Law, they would not be enough to overcome the Flame Imperator.
Zatiel knew that he could not equal a True Rank 10 life form after evolving to Rank 9, but the evolution of his True Soul Path of Power meant that his Omega Law would fuse with the law matrix.
And during that fusion, there would be one entity that would focus all its attention on him.
