As the sun rose, I awaken from my deep sleep and am not surprised by my surroundings this time but rather am happy to have actually transmigrated to my new body.
As I bathe in the warmth of the increasing sunlight, I casually stretch out my body from all the lactic acid build-up during yesterday's hunt.
As my mind is feeling refreshed, I hear a faint sound in the background, a stampede of some sort I guess.
Kinda like that movie 'lion king', I watched a while back when I was a human. Making my way over towards the stampede, I see hundreds of buffalo's galloping away from what I believe is a pride of lions, consisting of only about a dozen females and one male.
Watching over the chaos happening right in front of them, the pride begin their hunt.
These buffaloes can weigh in at 1000kgs on average when fully grown, so lions generally tend to target the younglings.
Which is exactly what the pride intends to do. Gazing among this stampede of buffaloes, the female's go into a full-on sprint once they catch sight of the smaller-sized prey.
With the females at work, the male follows after them but he has his eyes on a young adult buffalo.
Sprinting into the crowd of chaos, he manages to pounce on top of its back and slow it down enough to distance himself from the stampede.
With multiple veterans on the hunt, the younger lions follow closely and help out where they can to gather experience hunting.
Watching over these lions expertly take down their prey, I compare their hunt to mine and can notice a few key differences that we have.
Such as how they take relatively longer to kill their prey than I did mine, or how they don't seem as fast as I am.
With the lions finishing of the several buffaloes they caught I decide I need food as well, and what better opportunity than the present.
So I give chase to one of the larger fully grown adults as they seem to be slightly smaller than I am.
Reaching a full-on sprint I catch up to it and jump onto its back, making it crash down to the ground surprisingly easily.
I quickly dispatch of the Buffalo similar to the warthog from yesterday's hunt. With a decent-sized white light entering my body sneakily, all of this occurring without my knowledge.
Weary of scavengers and other predators getting attracted to the scent of blood I quickly fill up my stomach.
Licking my teeth clean of flesh, I make my way towards where I saw the lion pride.
The Buffalo tasted like a medium-rare streak if I was to compare it to anything really, but it had a more earthly wild taste to it if that makes sense.
As I neared the last sighting of the lions, I can see them retreating home I'm guessing.
Not wanting to be alone in this wilderness, I call out with a deep resounding growl of sorts.
POV Change:
Turning around the lions saw an enormous lion thingy, With a short mane and some slightly visible stripes.
The male lion believing it to be a challenger for its pride became visibly nervous at the sight of the behemoth.
Not want to look like a coward in front of its own members he gave a weak roar back to it and very slowly made its way to it.
POV Change:
Happy at having the thought of having companions with me, I made a light jog over towards the male lion, completely disregarding the fact these are vicious lions who are born killers the day they're born.
As I came closer and closer to the male, I could see it became more visible scared for each step I took until I was only about ten meters away from it.
With its head down in fright of this giant, the lion decided that it could not even put up a fight against it and chose submission without a fight.
Now laying on the ground with its head down In a submissive pose the other lions watched in confusion at the surrender of their mighty leader who didn't even put up a fight.
Before I could even greet it, the lion took to a completely submissive stance.
I think it thought of me as a challenger for its pride and became scared upon my arrival.
Confused as to why it didn't even put up a fight, I quickly realized that I was more than just a little bit taller and bigger than it.
Dazed, I remember that there was one feline bigger than the lion and tiger, a liger.
Everything made perfect sense now, such as why it was so easy hunting and why I ate so much.
I was basically two lions.
Coming back to reality I tried to speak to the lion.
"Hello, my name is Levi, what's yours?" I asked
"My name is Leo mighty one. If you don't mind this lowly one asking, what are your intentions on approaching us?" replied the lion after much hesitation.
I was surprised that he actually responded so I said:"My intentions huh, well I didn't really have any, I was just lonely you see and saw you guys when you were hunting."
"Are you going to take over this pride now?" asked Leo after much thought.

Chapter End:
The same situation as the last chapter, I found writing this chapter really fluid and I only had some trouble when I included dialogue into my writing.
Give me your honest thoughts and feedback in the comment section below, especially about ways to improve upon the dialogue even though it was relatively short.
I appreciate all criticism in my writing whether positive or negative, although I won't respond to those asking where the story's going and spoilers as I find many authors struggling with this among new novels.
