Chapter 6. Good personality, Good acting
The scene was in an alleyway.
Ren was standing there, in front of him was Chu Min, who chased him from the classroom.
"You bastard. You ran all the way here, now you have nowhere to escape to."
"You know agent Kai, itàs not good for agents to chase around innocent teachers."
Ren said with a smile, but Chu Min just scoffed at that and said.
"Innocent?! If you are innocent, then all the people walking in the streets are murder suspects."
"Are you saying that I am not innocent then? You really break my heart, you know."
Ren smiled playfully, but there was a madness in his voice.
"Don't joke with me and tell me where the chip is!"
"Chip? What chip? Are you asking for my phone memory card?"
Chu Min snapped at that. His character was of an aggressive spy after all.
"You bastard. You know very well what type of chip I'm talking about. Now give me that chip, and maybe I'll spare your life."
"Aren't you too young to talk about taking a life? As for the chip, I don't have that. Do you really think people would let me live if I had that kind of secret with me?"
Ren stopped joking as he said that with a severe tone.
"Don't screw with me. I know you have that chip. Now tell me it's location or..."
"Or what? You'll kill me? You can try if you want, then what will you do after finding the chip? Find the murderers of your wife and your unborn...."
Ren couldn't continue his sentence. A punch flew his way, and he was barely able to dodge it.
Chu Min was standing there with a murderous expression. He was furious after Ren mentioned his late wife and child.
"Cut!!"
With the director's shout. The scene ended, and a smile was present on the faces of all the staff members.
* * *
'Even if Ren's acting is immature, he has a good personality.'
That's what White bear thought previously, but now he realized that Ren's acting was great.
He had worked with him for 2 years, so he knew that his acting was just mediocre. After watching him playing the role of Jay, he was convinced that he had improved by leaps.
Not only did he have a great personality, now his acting was great too.
He realized how much of a good person Ren was after parting ways with him and working in a different agency.
His days with Ren was always enjoyable, they would always laugh and share jokes with each other while working.
Most importantly, Ren always treated him with respect. There was never a time in which he insulted him.
They would frequently go to restaurants and discuss their friends and families, but his last agency situation was just terrible.
When he had entered his last agency, he was happy that he was being paid more. He even bragged to his friends that he was now working with real celebrities.
He bragged that he was the manager of a popular girl group who was always on TV.
Although he bragged about it, the situation with the idol group was terrible.
They would always insult him or take their anger out on him. There were also constant fights between the members, so he always took the blame for it.
Although they were popular, their attitudes and personalities were terrible.
There were countless times where he had to listen to insults directed at him.
'Can't you just not talk to me.'
'You are disgusting.'
'I am frustrated now. I can't stand you or the other members.'
'Just seeing your face makes my day bad.'
There were countless insults like this. He had to suffer through those insults throughout the day. It was hell for him.
It was far better to work with Ren, who had a good personality. That's what he had thought, and now he realized that Ren didn't only have a good character, but he was also great at acting.
He just needed to become famous now. White bear thought that it could happen soon.
It was not just his intuition, there were various facts behind his reasoning.
Ren was still young, they had met when he was just 16 years old, and now he was 20, and White bear could see the qualities of a future star in him.
He was now good at acting, and White bear knew that he also had a great singing voice. They just had to wait till the film released in the theatres.
White bear was sure that after it was released Ren would surely become famous.
His role was that impactful. It wasn't just because of Ren's acting, White bear was also confident in the script.
White bear thought about the story he heard from Chu Min and Ren.
The story starts by introducing the main character Agent Kai who was in a mission in Afghanistan.
The mission was to capture a terrorist, but during the mission, Agent Kai came across a clue leading to mall massacre.
After finishing with his mission, he confronted his superiors about the clue. Still, his superiors just brushed him off, saying not to delve into it any further.
Even after his superiors told him that, he couldn't give up on it as his wife and unborn child were also killed in that incident.
That's why he didn't listen to his superiors and created a team to investigate the incident.
While investigating the case, he came across Jay, who was a former CIA agent and may have had a chip that had all the information on the massacre incident.
He confronted him, but he found out that Jay didn't have the chip but knew the location where it was stored.
Jay told him the location of the chip but later got killed in a car accident.
Kai mourns Jay's death and starts making a plan to retrieve the chip.
During his search, he cames across many revelations and facts that made him doubt that the massacre was just a terrorist attack.
He found out that the incident was directly related to many politicians, so they tried to stop him, but ultimately he found the chip.
At the last moment, a twist happened, and the hidden story started to unfold.
It was shown that Jay was still alive, and this was just a plan to capture Kai. The final twist ended the story in a way that left various questions in the mind of the audience.
After reading the whole script, White bear thought that the plot was excellent and the movie also featured some good actors. So, it could quickly become a hit.
White bear also thought that Ren would gain the most popularity as his character was better than Kai. The hidden revelations in the end also helped make his character more interesting.
He was more certain of it after watching Ren act. The whole staff was mesmerized by his acting, and the chemistry between him and Chu Min was great.
Even the director was smiling while watching his acting since it was really intense and crazy.
As he was watching the shoot happen, someone approached him.
It was a man with short stature and a slightly chubby face. His name was Jiang Wan, he was Chu Min's manager.
