Looking at the person standing in front of her, neither was she shocked, nor was that expected.
She was just muddled. "...?"
"I know you must be surprised by seeing me here. Why don't we go in first?"
Without waiting for her approval Ryan straight walked inside the hotel room.
Nora looked at his back with her narrowed eyes. She has just started feeling as if nowadays people like intruding very much. But having no choice she just sighed deeply and closed the door before following him.
"Can I sit?" He asked but took his seat again without hearing her answer.
Taking his seat on the couch Ryan looked around the hotel room. There were two rooms facing the dining hall at the two opposite corners of the room.
One room had its door closed. Whereas the other room's door was opened and there was a big packed suitcase ready to go.
"You are giving Steave mansion a visit. Right?" He asked.
His words instantly made her turn to face that closed door.
"No need to ask Krish. He didn't tell anyone about it. But obviously, it's not hidden from anyone either."
According to the plan, today Nora was bound to give a visit to that mansion. And that's why Ryan came here to make sure that happens.
"Why are you here?" Nora asked.
"To drop you at your mansion."
"No need. We can manage." She denied it straightforwardly.
"Of course you can, but I want to. Please, I insist. I have to work around that neighbourhood too."
Ryan knows that she is always a tough nut to crack. But only something emotional can break her. His urging eyes, as planned, melted Nora's firmness.
"...We are ready. Let's go." She said and shouted for her brother. "Krish!"
"Yes, coming sister." Krish shouted back in reply from his room.
Nora went back to her bedroom to grab her backpack. After five minutes both Nora and Krish came out of their room. Ryan was patiently waiting for them. Watching Nora coming out already brings a smooth smile to his face.
However the moment he turned to the other door, he was shocked. Looking at the boy he used to carry in his arm, stunned him to his core.
"Please don't tell me, he is Krish?" He bewilderedly spoke.
Nora understands his bewilderedness. Krish's height does betray his age. Not answering that question she went to the coffee table to have a glass of water.
"God he is all big now. I can't believe it."
"..." Krish got puzzled. "Where did he come from?"
"Manners." Nora was strictly reminded.
Ryan didn't mind his words. He knows living outside half of his childhood would build his character differently from their culture.
"Have you heard about me? Ryan Gill?" Ryan keenly looked at him.
"...Ryan?" That word hit his memory easily. Karan and Ryan. These are the only two names that have ever been taken in his house. The rest were all their acquaintances from abroad only.
Even yesterday, Carter only introduced Karan as his uncle and that's it. No name or identity. This is Krish's first time to actually meet someone who can be their supposed relatives too. His excitement was quite visible on his face.
Walking forward he nodded profusely. "Yes! Of course. I actually heard a lot about you."
"Really? Nora talked about me?" He earnestly looked at Nora's side, who was waiting for them at the main door.
Ryan was shocked to hear an affirmative answer. He never thought Nora would talk about him.
To his question, Krish gave an awkward laugh and shook his head in denial. "Amm… No… Uncle talked about you. Carter uncle."
Carter used to tell Krish about those people who definitely would play an important role in his and his sister's life in the future.
From them, Ryan was more attached to a story as an emotional part. That's why Krish remembered him correctly.
"Ohh… She never talked about me?" Ryan dejectedly asked.
"She never talked about anyone from here." Krish said truthfully.
Ryan understandably nodded. "Of course... Anyway, let's go before your sister yells at us."
"Yell at you? Aren't you older than her?"
"Doesn't matter in her case. She scares me a lot with her silence only."
"Hehehe I get that a lot."
