"Oh don't worry. I want the same. But before that just let me play with your hair once." Saying that his hand smoothly lifted from her side before twirling her flicks.
The moment his fingers touched her hair, a number of gasps could be heard from the crowd. Those voices were only and only indicating their shock that they felt to their core. 'Parth touching some girl?'
Knowing what that gasps meant, Parth disgustingly sneered at them. Although he is unthoughtful of what those people think of him. But at that moment the only way he preferred Nora was this and those reckless people's thoughts. Tilting his head to the one side he whispered.
"You heard those gasps? Listen to them carefully because that's what is going to change your happy go lucky life. Worry not, I won't dirty my hands to play with you. Now those idiots would play with you. And then only would you know who I am."
Nora's eyes instantly wavered to that sound. Those inhales were clearly done by all the girls in the corridor. What Parth meant was very clear to her eyes.
If the gazes could kill someone, that moment she would have died hundreds of times. All the girls in the corridor were giving her a deathly glare. Nora wasn't scared but surprised of two things.
One, how could girls act this way just because of some physical touch. And the second by Parth. She never thought Parth was this kind of person. She was surprised to know this about him.
"What scared?" Nora's surprise gaze gave different meaning to Parth's understanding.
"Nah... Just a little disappointed."
To her words he frowned confusedly. The only words he expected from her was hate, loathe, detest, but definitely not a disappointment. Sucking his teeth he wanted to ask, but didn't want to look concerned about her.
Getting little away from her he replied. "Looks like we both have a lot of expectations from each other."
As soon as the distance came between them, accidentally both eyes met each other. Unconsciously without saying anything more they both started staring at each other.
For those seconds Nora lost in thoughts, but before anything bad could happen she noticed one girl from the crowd staring at her with a deadly glare.
Unlike any other girl who was afraid of doing anything in front of Parth, that girl was continuously moving forward, coming out of the crowd to have a better look of what was happening between Nora and Parth.
What brought Nora's full attention was that girl's hand, which was trembling. Trembling hard to do something. She was trying to stop herself, but her heart desired something else.
All this while Parth's attention was fully occupied by Nora's eyes. When Nora gave him a look of contempt, there was some resistance in it too. He was surprised to see how she was not trying to push him at all. Instead she was trying to not despite him. But why? He hates her, she will hate him back after today. Then why?
Unknown to himself he was drowning and drowning in her. His hands unconsciously lifted up to touch those smooth cheeks but stopped immediately when he saw Nora's hand extended to his back, holding onto something.
That realisation instantly brings him back to reality. His eyes darkened instantly. Backing away from Nora, he smoothly avoided the person standing behind him, before standing right beside Nora.
The thing that Nora was holding was nothing but a girl's wrist which was about to pull Parth by his shoulder away from Nora.
Nora didn't care what that girl wanted, but what she cared about was what that girl carried in her emotions. Her actions can't be justified just because of jealousy.
At first she waited for Parth to react on his own or to save himself, but when he didn't react at all, she took action.
"Let go of me!" The girl shouted on top of her lungs.
Her action shocked everyone in the corridor. No one ever, other than his friends, let alone any girl, has touched Parth without his consent in college. Everyone clearly feared Parth and his power.
However today all records were being broken. Not just Parth was flirting with a girl in front of everyone, a random girl dared to touch Parth because of her overflowing emotions.
The gasps once again came into action.
Seeing Parth's anger on that girl, Nora sneered. Pushing that girl away from their reach she asked Parth. "Why are you frowning? Isn't it what you wanted for me?"
Parth turned to his right. The girl was standing there, unaffected by everything. Her blank face after getting someone's hatred confused him. Nora's unwary reaction again made him bewildered. His curiosity really wanted him to open that head of her's. But would he let himself down just for that? No.
"Who the hell are you! How dare you to get anywhere near my Parth Maurya! I'll kill you!!" Without wasting a single breath that girl charged forward straight to Nora.
But this time Nora didn't try to stop that girl. Even though she was disappointed by Parth, she still wanted to test Parth's integrity.
She wanted to know if she misjudged him by anyhow. Since he helped her, she only thinks of him as an empathetic person, who she really wanted to get close to.
And just because of one event, she won't let go of her belief. Moreover it was her fault to begin with. And if he won't stop that girl for her, she would anyway.
But to her amazement Parth didn't just stop her, but... Kicked that girl far away from them. The kick wasn't hard, but enough for that girl to groan at least for a day.
Nora's amazement only lasted two seconds before it again turned into a blank look. The reaction was too strong for anyone to react to it for a minute. His anger, frustration was way too visible than anytime.
Nora wanted to test, but after what happened, she didn't have the results. Shaking her head, not understanding what Parth's deal is, Nora walked past him before saying.
"You succeeded with your plan. You did bring me a lot of trouble. I hope after this we are even." Waiting for no one's reply, she walked away.
Parth gazed at that passing silhouette. It was his first time that someone was actually unmindful of his presence. Leaving him behind?
'...you are not going anywhere.' He thought to himself.
