Kai woke up slowly due to the chirping of the birds. He smiled lightly as he saw Yuki snoring quietly while hugging her panda. Kai knew Yuki went everywhere with that thing. "Yuki, time to wake up." Kai tapped Yuki lightly.
"Let me... sleep." Yuki raspy voice was heard. "Are you sick or something? Your voice sounds a little raspy." Kai teased Yuki.
"Raspy?!" Yuki got up quickly and went to the mirror.
Yuki applied a little pressure on her throat, seeing if it can clear up. "Don't do that, you're going to choke yourself." Kai shook Yuki's hands off her throat.
"I can't have a raspy voice on a mission!" Yuki made a pouty face as she whined. "Probably because you slept with your mouth open." Kai laughed.
Interrupting, a knock was heard at the door. Slowly coming in, the mayor cheesy smile made Yuki cringe. "Lovely day isn't it? Anyways, breakfast is ready!" The mayor showed to go.
Seeing the dinner table, Yuki got excited. She never seen this much food just for breakfast. "I didn't know what you guys would like for breakfast so I just did everything." The mayor chuckled.
"Thank you Mayor, we appreciate." Kai looked at Yuki.
Yuki was about to eat until Kai stopped her. "Yuki be polite and wait." Kai nudged. Yuki waited patiently. She really wanted to eat the waffles. "Now you may eat." Kai allowed.
As Yuki was about to take a bite, she noticed so,etching in the waffle. "What is this doing here?" Yuki noticed. Quickly, Kai looked at the piece of paper. On the paper, it had code reading on it.
"It's all in code." Kai examined.
"Let me see." The mayor took it and read it. "Beware of the Crew."
Kai and Yuki looked at one another. Was this a warning for tonight's gathering?
