In this unseemly old town, a muddy puddle stuck out like a sore thumb. The houses are aligned with each other, old sewages' sticking out from god knows where. On every block lays a fire hydrant, a bloody red color that seems to bring life into this dusty town. This town, called Gleam Town used to house about 120,000 people but now only have a pitiful amount of 40,000.

"Khalida!!! Where are going about in this early morning? It's barely seven for God's sake and you should stop moving about. You know what's happening in this town." Her mother yells with concern.
"But mother, we have lived here for 2 months since the epidemic began and I'm totally fine." Khalida twirls around her mother to prove her point.
"Haven't you heard of the saying 'it's better to be safer than to be sorry?'"
"But mother we can't waste food. That's what you taught me. Our neighbors are at it again. We don't have to buy bread anymore."
She hears her mother sigh. I don't blame her. Ever since it all began there was this crazy talk throughout the town about a Krampus that was sighted by a group a travelers. It's said that this group of 6 friends went into the mountains to camp out but while they came back, they were attacked by a Krampus and only one survived. What a load of bs. They exaggerate to the point that the whole town is scared witless. Now everyone is all generous in giving out free supplies and food. This has to be the only good part that came with it. Sometimes I can't help but think that some homeless man took advantage of the current crisis to have a hefty meal. Everyone believed that as long as they were good civilized beings, the "Krampus" will leave them alone. And it did. Wow, we're all saved. Yup, except it's not. Oh and it only gets worse...
