5 days later. I'm at the lake with Lillian to teach her how to pilot the Black Hawk. But first I have to teach her the fundamentals of the helicopter before she actually flies it.
"First, I'm going to teach you the fundamental of flying a helicopter. Do you have any idea how it flies?"
"It uses the wind to fly?"
"That is mostly correct. The rotor blades or wings use the wind to create lift using this principle, the Bernoulli Principle. The Bernoulli Principle describes how the speed of air and the pressure in the air are related. When the speed goes up, the pressure goes down and the opposite is also true."
She was intently listening to our lesson and writing everything in her notebook that I gave her.
Wings are curved on top and flatter on the bottom. This shape is called an airfoil. That shape makes airflow over the top faster than under the bottom. As a result, there is less air pressure on top of the wing; this causes suction and makes the wing move up. Did you understand that?"
"Yes! I understand what you taught me, Hubby! You'd make a great teacher one day!"
"Really?"
"Yes! Es-especially t-t-to our."
Lillian's cheeks were suddenly red as a tomato.
"To our what?"
I gave her a curious look.
"Nothing! Let's just continue the lesson!"
"Ok... let's get back on topic."
"Now that we know the fundamentals of helicopter flight. Next is the cockpit's instruments."
I then taught Lillian the basic use of the digital instruments of the helicopter, like the airspeed indicator, altimeter, variometer, and etc.
Now for the basic controls. We have the cyclist that controls the pitch and roll, the pedals for the yaw, and the collective to manipulate the pitch of the main rotor for lift.
Now that I'm done explaining the basics. Next up is a training flight for Lillian. I'm sitting in the right seat were usually the pilot in command would sit and the copilot on the left. After a minute of warming up the turbine engine, the rotors now attained normal operating rpm, we're off the ground.
Now that we are at an altitude of 500 meters. I then transferred the control to Lillian. Letting my own cyclist go.
"The controls yours now, let's try hovering for your first task."
"Ok!"
Lillian was sweating a bit when she holds the cyclist and the helicopter was a bit wobbly. I noticed that her hands were tense and shaking.
"It will be fine Lillian, you need to relax."
"*huff* *sigh* Ok Hubby."
After a few seconds, the Black Hawk started to stabilize.
"That's very good Lillian, keep it up."
I then keep this up for a few minutes until she's ready to move the helicopter.
"Next up is moving forward. You know what to do."
*nod* She then move the cyclist forward, making the Black Hawk pitch forward.
After half an hour of flight time, Lillian is now flying the helicopter naturally.
"Good job Lillian, you're getting good with this. For the final test let's try and land the helicopter. You know what to do."
"Ok."
We then turn around and head to the lake, going in for the landing. Lillian then pitches the Black Hawk up to slow down for the landing. She then reduces the collective to reduce the altitude.
50 meters, 30 meters, 20 meters, 10m, 8m, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and touchdown, we safely landed.
"*sigh* I did it?"
"Yes, you did Lillian. Congratulations!"
"Yay!"
When we got out of the cockpit, Sally and Karla were waiting for us on a picnic table. We then sat with them.
"How was it to fly the helicopter!?"
Sally excitedly asked.
"It was scary at first but it gets fun after flying for a bit."
"Was it hard?"
Karla curiously asked.
"It was hard at first cause you have to use both your hands and feet to control the helicopter while concentrating. When you're used to it will get easier."
While they were having their conversation, I grab the basket from the Humvee (I grabbed it from Silfrid after the marriage) and placed it on the table.
"I made some snacks and juice."
I then open it to reveal sandwiches and four thermoses of cold fruit juice made from apples, oranges, grapes, and mangoes.
"Enjoy!"
They then took a bite of the sandwich.
"Delicious Foxy!"
"Very good Hubby!"
"Tasty! How do you always make delicious food Felix?"
"Skills and a little bit of love."
"How cheeky."
When I said that, Karla gave me a quick kiss.
"Me too Foxy!"
"I want one too Hubby!"
"Alright, alright."
I then gave Sally and Lillian a kiss each.
When we were done eating and drinking our snacks, I thought about what we're going to do next. I was pondering for a while until Lillian called me.
"Hubby is there something on your mind?"
"I guess so?"
"What is it then?"
"I was thinking about making a house."
""A house!?""
Sally and Karla who were talking to each other were surprised when they overheard what I said.
"I guess so. Do you want me to make it?"
""" Yes!"""
"I'll get to work then."
Before I make the house, I should think of a design. I guess I should make the house with a modern architectural design, like rectangular shapes and large glass windows. With one large garage for the Humvee and storage for my equipment, 1 large master bedroom, 3 guest rooms, a kitchen, a living room, a lakeside pool, and a helipad on the rooftop. The house will be fully furnished and connected to a generator under the house.
I think I have the design of the house ready. I think it's more of a villa than a house. But hey, I can make it so why not. But the problem is the waiting time on [CREATE]. With how large this will be, my estimation for the waiting time will be 2 weeks. Now that's a long time, good thing I have stockpiles of ammo, parts, and fuel supply for our guns, Black Hawk, and Humvee.
"Before I make the house, I have to warn you that I can't use my powers for 2 weeks due to how large it is. But I made sure that I made stockpiles of ammo beforehand."
"Are you sure you're ok with that Foxy?"
Sally asked concerned. I then pat her head to calm her down.
"It's going to be ok. Still, it's not good to rely too much on my powers or I'll become too dependent on it."
"If you say so."
"[CREATE]"
This feels different when I use [CREATE] to make guns and vehicles. Instead of the house appearing in my mind pre-made, I can personally change the design of the house from the ground up. I change some of the colors of the rooms, add some furniture, the shape of the house and room. To the point, I was doing it for an hour or so.
But in truth, only a minute has passed. So it's like a build button on a game huh. Everything slows down around me so I can focus on my work until it's done interesting.
5 minutes later and it's done. A 2 story house made from the design I thought up. Now I have a better understanding of how [CREATE] works.
Example: If I use [CREATE] to make a toy car it will appear. But it will be randomized, it might be made of plastic, a different model, and has different colors. But if I made a toy car with a specific material, model, and color, It will make an actual copy of the model I make.
So if I use [CREATE] with a gun in mind only it will give me random guns. If I specify the model it will give me an exact model. So [CREATE] is like a specialist ability.
Back to the girls. When they saw the house, they were amazed by the architecture. It was completely different from other houses. Some of the houses are mostly made out of wood, for the rich made out of stone, but very simplistic in design.
Mine is made out of concrete and metal, very unusual for this time. With some curves and large windows.
"Want to go inside and take a look around?"
"""Yes!"""
"*chuckle* Let's get inside then."
We then went through a wooden brown door to see the inside of a beautifully designed living room. A chandelier hanging on the ceiling, a comfortable black couch, and a clean and shiny wooden floor drape over by white and soft carpeting.
The kitchen made for a chef full of utensils and appliances like a two-door fridge and built-in electric counter stove and oven.
The Master bedroom is made up of a large bed enough to fit five people and some furniture, with a fantastic view of the lake.
The rooftop. The flat rooftop is covered in gravel with a helipad made on the farther end of it fo the Black Hawk to land.
"This is amazing Foxy! You made a whole house!"
"It's beautifully made Hubby."
"We can even walk on top of it too, how did you come up with it?"
"My imagination."
It's getting dark. Oh right, the basement.
"You haven't seen the basement yet."
"The basement?"
Lillian asked.
"Here, follow me."
We then went downstairs to see a large basement with another room with some glass window. The generator room. I used a flashlight because of how dark it is. When I arrive at the generator room, I turned it on using the digital console of the generator.
When the generator was rumbling to life, it was fairly loud in here. I then went to the electric panel switch to turn it on making the basement light up. Sally, Lillian, and Karla were surprised to see the lightbulbs turn on.
"Welcome to our new home."
