"What does life mean nana?"
A little girl around five years old asked gazing at her nanny curiously
"Life? It's a miracle God has given us." she answered softly while gently caressing the girl's little head.
"Who is God?" The little girl asked again gazing up at her nanny.
"God is someone who is very benevolent and provide us with everything. He is the king ruling over the heaven with numerous Angel serving him. Your mom is already with him and is one of those angel. She is looking over you from above." she answered her dotingly.
"Why is that? Hasn't she already died?" The little girl's adorable head tilted sideways growing more and more curious.
"Yes, when people die their spirit go to heaven and become an angel."
The little girl smiled wanting to ask more
"Now. now.. go to sleep you still have class tomorrow." She said coaxing her to bed.

The next morning the girl went downstairs and found her dad busy with a lot of work in the living room. She went up to him interrupting his work.
"Good morning daddy!" She clung on his arms and kiss his cheeks.
"Yea. Go and eat breakfast now. I still have to fjnish this." He replied suppressing his irritation.
He never really like this daughter of his. Every time he saw her it reminded him of his lost wife. The little girl's face resembled greatly to that of his wife and it hurt him so much to remember that his wife died after laboring their daughter.
"Uhm.. okay daddy." She lowers her little head and went to the kitchen to eat her breakfast.
After eating she went up to her dad again.
"Daddy can you drive me to school now?" She asked expectantly.
She always saw her classmates go to school with their mom and dad while she was sent by the driver and her nanny. Though it was okay still she silently wish to have her father sent her to school.
That's why every morning she would always went to him and try asking him if she could drive her to school.
He blew a heavy breath in irritation and answered.
"No. I can't I still have work to do."
And like the usual she would leave disappointedly.
In the school, the little girl would work hard doing all the task their teacher asked them to do. And she would top her test and will go home with many stars from her teacher.
Today she perform pretty well and got a little trophy from her teacher as a recognition.
She was very happy and excited to go home to show it to her daddy and tell him what had happened in school. When the car stop outside the gate of their house the little girl immediately go out and ran inside not minding the heavy downpour of rain. She ran to their living room drench with rain. She went up to her dad without noticing that there are other people with him.
"Daddy! Daddy! Hah. I got a pretty trophy from teacher." She said excitedly between heavy breaths showing her trophy to his father.
Her dad stood up and pull her towards the otherside of the room where the guest can't see them.
"Heh. I have guests can't you see? And look at you! Tsk." He look at her coldly.
"Auntie! " Her father called their nanny.
"Go and change her clothes. Don't let her out until the guests are gone." He whispered to her coldly. He then went back to attend to his guests.
"I'm sorry gentlemen for the interruption. Now if we may continue."
"Come on.. let's change your clothes so you won't catch a cold." Her nanny said leading the poor little girl upstairs. She unwilling climb up and took a last look back to her dad who was busy yet again and bowed her head trying to suppress her tears from falling.
After an hour or so when the guest are all gone. She went downstairs to take her dinner.
While eating she felt quite dizzy and weak but she ignored it and look around trying to find her daddy.
"Where's daddy?" She asked with crooked voice.
"He's in his office. Are you okay?" Her nanny asked worriedly.
She only nodded weakly then continued.
"Good. Just take a good rest after okay? I'll be leaving for my family later so no one's gonna attend to you. If you need anything just call your dad."

"D-daddy.... W-would I-J be an a-angel..?." she smiled weakly and her eyes slowly close.
"Hurry and get the car!" He shouted trembling in nervousness.
"Baby don't sleep first.. We'll go to the hospital.. "
In the hospital..
The doctor came out of the ER with an unreadable expression.
