Lee woke up the next morning with an identity crisis, he wondered if he could meet the Lee Dixon of this time period, he felt confused and deflated, this was a new life but could he really put aside the memories and friends he made in the last one as his thoughts were progressing he wandered to the sink and put his hands on the sink , he stared at his reflection in the mirror and looked at himself in the mirror trying to psych up ' The past is the past ' he said to himself ' No use working myself over the complicated stuff, I'll just look straight ahead and take things one at a time' and felt a strange sense of calm after his new conviction. He puffed up his chest and declared to himself 'Lee Dixon is no more. Now is the time for Lee ….'. 'Wait what's my surname here' he remembered he never knew, "How could I forget my own surname he "he said clearly baffled by his own forgetfulness. He quickly checked the dairy and found it soon enough, "Lee Cox", the hell is Cox, couldn't it be something normal, Lee sighed and wondered if it was too late for a name change as he took in his new identity and headed to the bathroom. After a shower, he dressed up and headed out "Haven't really gone out since my reincarnation" he said and a good way to avoid that crazy landlady. He checked out his surrounding as he walked to the bus top, Birmingham isn't really exciting as he took in the dull streets and people with half-dead looks on their faces. Another reason he was excited was that Birmingham was an important historical place for both world and English football as it took part in the first match of the world's first football league. He got to the bus stop and took a bus heading to St Andrew's, the name of Birmingham city's football stadium, he sat down in the red double-decker bus, and wandered about this Lee's family reminding himself to ask Dave about it later. He got to St Andrew's and looked around not intending to go inside as he had silently sworn that he would only enter a stadium as a manager , after a couple of minutes checking out the place and taking pictures, he looked for a café to sit down and organize his plans for the future.
He soon found a cafe called Suzy's Cafe and and entered it, he took a sit and ordered a latte with cream and some scones. After the order he took out his heavy duty laptop as he called it and arranged his thoughts, right now he had two huge problems, money and his memories, the former the more urgent problem, he remembered how his savings were stolen and wondered if he could sue his runaway girlfriend but quickly assigned that as a long term plan, he scoured his memories for any money making opportunities in 2010 but only one thing came to mind, 'The lottery', he thought about it and shook his head, even if he could figure out the numbers, getting the lottry ticket is virtually impossible, he quickly got a headache as he cursed his predecessor for leaving him such a cliche' problem, he put money aside for now and studied the youth team for aston villa, he frowned seeing that they're virtually no successful players there and reevaluated the difficulty of his situation. He tapped his table continuosly in thought as he knew he had to add scouting to his list of must-do's as the youth team's state was abysmal. He wondered what he could do with the squad in this state, "should i just become an agent" , he was sure that he could make loads of money if he became one with his knowledge but quickly debunked that idea as soon as he remembered Arsenal, the reason he decided to become a manager, he strengthened his resolve and decided to come up with a list of young players he could invite to the club and cultivate to first team, hopefully when he becomes a manager. Taking his last sip of coffee, his eyed as grew wide as he took in the figure that just stepped into the cafe, "No way i could be that lucky right" he asked himself as looked at the fourteen year old nigerian, Alex iwobi and wondered what he was doing here, he then remebered in 2010, Iwobi was almost released by arsenal and guessed he must be searching for other opportunities. He stood up from his sit while dialling the manger's number, getting through to him, he asked "Sir, is it possible for me to invite talented players into the team", O'neil shocked at he question steadied himself and answered him"Sure but the recruitment team will still have to evaluate the player", he continued "Just make sure he's good enough to join, since director thinks highly of you i'll trust you won't mess up". I quickly thanked him and thoughtg of the eccentric director wondering if his favour was a good thing exactly, before standing up with a smile that revealed my excited face as i looked towards my first mark in the world of football, Alex Iwobi.
