After getting home corrie tiredly flopped on her bed as she remembered the conversation she had with wizkid.

What he said was right i could not believe that veronica could do that to me , trying to drug me and get people to rape me. Truly shameless. Does she think am stupid, Thank God wiskid was there to help me or else i don't know what would have happened. Hmmm... Everything was just too confusing, but one thing am sure that is veronica does not like me. I picked up my phone to call her at least wanting to hear her explanation.
It rang for some time before on the second ring she picked up.
"hi corrie, how are you? "veronica said happily as if void of any knowledge of what happened yesterday.
"What is your purpose? "I asked going straight to the point not wanting to waste any time.
"what are you taking about" she asked still acting oblivious
"You left me alone yesterday at the bar drunk, tired, and 'weak ' "I said emphasizing on 'weak'
"No corrie, i got a call from a friend, after receiving the call i went back to look for you but you were no where to be found" she said with a teary voice.
Now i was angry i could not believe that she is still lying why can't she just say the truth what is her problem.
"You dare to lie, it was just you and me yesterday then all of a sudden my drink was spiked, what sort of friend are you in fact let end this friendship here"
"No corrie it wasn't like that.... ", she attempted to rectify the situation but i mercilessly hung up on her
