Now is the third day of the cultural festival, and of course this is the day where booths and stalls are now going to disappear. This is the day where performers will shine. Of course, when I said performers, Yui Kousaka is included in that.
"All set! My costumes and everything! I'm ready to perform any minute."
Yui said as she double check her bag to see if she forgot something. She is now at her condo, and she's about to leave.
"This condo has gotten livelier, for some reason that I don't know."
After she said those words, she closed the door and walked away from her condo.
Kousaka Yui is about to head to her school. As an Idol, her job is to dance and sing in front of the audience. If she can make her fans happy then she is happy too. That's her motto in life.

The breezing cold air that being emitted by the air conditioner can be felt by Kazuya as he read a light novel comfortably at his house. He doesn't have anything to do at the school anymore since their booth have disappeared already.
Although, his absence will be record since It's still school.
"One absence won't hurt."
This is the common excuse of slackers. Kazuya is now travelling the path towards the slackers.
"Well, the regular school days will start tomorrow so I think It's better to slack off while there's still no lessons."
With that, Kazuya just slacked off on his house and reading light novels. While he's reading a light novel, he suddenly heard a song from the TV, that his Master was using right now. Because of the song, he suddenly reminded of something.
"Now that you think about it, Yui's concert is later night, right?"
Kazuya stopped flipping the book's page and thought to himself.
"Maybe I should come to her concert after all. As a silent supporter."
In a sense, all of the students at the school are audience right now. So If Kazuya wants to go at the concert, his attendance will be marked as present at half-day. After he decided that he would come at the concert, he returned to read his light novel.

"All right, Yui! After these two groups, It's now your turn. Be prepared and give everything you've got!"
"Yes!"
Yui said to her manager as she raise both of her arms to cheer to herself. It's already night and after the two groups performed, It's already her turn.
To concentrate and calm herself, it became a habit for her to close her eyes and remind herself that she can do it. But while her eyes are closed, a sentence she doesn't even remember hearing flashed at her brain.
"I think your one of those amazing people!"
Her memory is fuzzy but she can see a guy but she can't see her face. It seems that guy was the one who said those things to her.
"Is he a passionate fan? or a close friend? Regardless, I can't even remember."
Yui racked her brain but she can't really remember who that guy is. After a while, she gave up and didn't tried to remember.
"Oh well, I guess I should go speak to my manager for a while."
The moment Yui opened the door, a figure of a man is the first thing she saw. That guy is holding a three layer cake on his hands. The two of them just stared at each other. A minute had passes and...
"Ahhh! Kazuya Satoru! What are you doing here?!"
"Oh, good evening! Yui."
That guy is definitely Kazuya Satoru. Well, if your asking why is he here? Then, let's go back at the time where he's about to go at school.
While Kazuya was walking at the road towards his own school, he saw a man on his 40's trying to negotiate with the guard gate. The man on his 40's has a cake on hand and a letter on his pocket. Since he's near there, he actually heard what they're talking about.
"Please! Mr. Guard! Let me in! My daughter is going to perform at this school, just let me in for a minute and I'm going to leave."
"Sir, like I said, It's forbidden for adults to enter the school grounds. But if you really want to enter, you could call your daughter here and confirm that he's really your daughter."
"I can't... do that..."
The man on his 40's just looked at the ground and seems to give up. Why can't he call her daughter, you ask? Well, you will find out later. The man gave up and turned his back towards the gate, still having the cake on his hand.
"Umm, If you can't call you daughter, maybe I can just deliver the cake and the letter. That is, if you want to."
Out of goodwill, Kazuya stretched his hand towards the man. The man saw a light of hope and said:
"Really? You'll do that for me? Thank you."
The man gave the cake and the letter to Kazuya.
"Well, you can't find my daughter if you don't know her name, right? Her name is Kousaka Yui. Sorry to be rude by not saying my name, I'm Kousaka Yuusuke. Thank you again."
After that, the man left and walked the opposite way towards the school. Kazuya stared at the cake and the letter and whispered to himself.
"There's now way I wouldn't know your daughter. She's pretty famous after all."
While holding the cake, Kazuya entered the school grounds and used Presence Erasure to sneak in at the backstage and enter Yui's room.
Since the question have been answered, let's go back to the present time. Kazuya entered the room as if he owns it and put the cake at her table.
"Hey, why are you here? People are not supposed to enter the backstage, and what's with the cake?"
"One question at a time, Yui. As per your first question, because I have special privilege here. As per your second question, I'm about to explain it now."
Kazuya said as he raise two of his fingers. Kazuya took a seat and told the whole story to Yui.
"I see, so my father came and he was not allowed to enter the school."
"Since I'm the one who came and told you the story. Don't you think that I should know why your father refuses to call you? Well, if you don't want to answer, I won't force you."
Kazuya said as he stood up from the chair and put his hands at his pockets.
"Fine, I'll tell you."
This is going to be another story of Yui while she's an Idol. It was a that didn't involve Kazuya's theory or the Soul Seal. This is the story of Yui and her father's relationship.

"Dad! Please let me leave alone!"
Yui called her father to the table because she wants to talk about something. Yui only has her father. Her Mom died when Yui was still young.
(I used the word "family" at Chapter 14 and I meant that the family consists only of Yui and her father. If I confused you that the mother is included, I will advance the apology here and now.)
"Yui, do you really want to leave?"
Her father said those words while her hands was trembling. His wife had died already, so her daughter was the only one left for him. If he lets her to live alone, then he can't assure that she would be safe.
Yui saw the hands of his father, but her resolve was already hard as rock. She continued the topic:
"I have two reasons for independency. One is because to I don't want to change places anymore. I don't want everybody to forget me again. Second is... I want to be an Idol. Being an Idol, I have to move to a place near the stadium."
Yui said those words while looking at the ground. She loved her father too. While everyone was forgetting about her, her father was the only pillar where she could put her trust that he will never forget her.
But she wants to change, If things stay as they are, she will be a loner forever. A cheerful and playful girl like her doesn't want that. Her father noticed that and said to her with a deep voice:
"Then, I permit you to live on your own. I'll give you funds for now, since you still don't have money."
"Thank you, dad! I will work hard to fulfill my dream."
"But..."
Her father suddenly added a word his sentence. It seems he's still about to say anything.
"The moment you leave here, you need to cut all your ties to me."
"What?"
Yui heard it right. Her father wants to cut his ties with her. But for what reason? Didn't he loved his daughter so much? At that time, even Yui doesn't know what her father was thinking.
"Did you hear what I just said? You have to cut your ties with me. It means you need to erase my contact number, pictures and everything that has a connection with me. In short, we'll act that we don't even know each other."
She did what his father told her and cut her ties with him. Even Yui doesn't know what his father was thinking that time. But she still walked towards her dream, not looking back.
"That's the end of story. The reason why she can't call me is either he have deleted my number or he still holds our agreement."
"So that's how it is."
Now that Kazuya knows the story, It's not like he'll do anything. The Soul Seal had extracted already, so If Yui is going to have another depression, the Soul Seal will nothing to do with that anymore.
Even so, Kazuya wants to make sure, that Yui lives with a happy and cheerful life.
Yui walked towards the cake and stared at it with her eyes.
"It's not like It's my debut concert, you know. You should have sent this cake at my debut concert, you stupid father."
She's saying that while tears was coming out of her eyes. Kazuya just stared at her, not disturbing her crying. But suddenly...
"Now calling, Yui Kousaka for performance."
The worst time possible! Because Yui is still bawling her eyes out, she didn't heard the announcement. Even if she goes out now, in her state, she'll just cry on stage. Now what would Kazuya do?

"Yui! Yui! Yui!"
The loud cheers of the audience are so loud that your ears might explode. But for the people who really wants to see Yui, that doesn't bother them at all.
"There sure are many people here. Yui Kousaka sure is popular."
Said by Yuu who's now looking at the crowd with amazed eyes.
"Yeah, Yui Kousaka is getting popular day by day. It might not be too long for her to reach worldwide popularity."
Said by Hajime who replied to Yuu's statement.
"Hajime, that's actually impossible. Most of the Idols only get popular at Tokyo, at best, nationwide."
Added by Hirokawa who also looked at the crowd quiet hard. The three of them came to school, well Hirokawa is not from Edogawa High School. Since It's Cultural Festival, all of high schools in Japan are invited to come in.
That's why when other schools heard that Yui will perform at Edogawa High School, almost all of the high schools in Tokyo came here. That's why the crowd was doubled, No, tripled from the usual crowd.
"Well, let's just enjoy this. I'm not a fan, but watching a cute girl dancing and singing in front of me clears away my stress."
Stated by Yuu as he said those words while his gaze shifted from the crowd to the stage.
"Ladies and Gentlemen! Thank you for waiting! Here goes, Kousaka Yui's partner for today's concert, Kuzuya!"
"Huh?"
All of the audience, has the same reaction and It's of course a huh. Imagine, you came at the concert for the guy/girl performing at the concert. It's only because It's her that you're going to come. But If you found out, that It's a different guy/girl from the advertisement, surely you'll get confused. This is the emotions that the audience is feeling right now.
"1, 2, 3, 4!"
The signal of the mysterious guy on stage. At the count of 4...
"🎶Whenever we're in the sadness, in the happiness, in grace! We'll never forget each other, that's the promise made by lots of happiness! This is our Magic Hour!🎶"

With that, he continued singing on stage. The guy I'm talking about is none other Kazuya Satoru. His voice made the whole audience look to him.
But Kazuya can now sing a song different from the Alphabet Song, why is that? Before he came here, he heard a song from the TV, and he's singing it right now. It takes his all just to remember the lyrics. It won't be too long before he slips up and make a mistake.
While Kazuya is performing at the stage, Yui dropped the letter she just read and took a deep breath.
"You didn't even gave me the letter yourself. Really, your stupid, but... thank you."
Saying those words, Yui heads out and opened the door. While still carrying the words at her father's letter, she has gone to the stage.
"Dear Yui,
I'm very sorry, I cut my ties with you. But I hope you understand my reason. I'm a coward at that time, I can't bear the thought that you're going away, so I tried to scare you a bit, but that's only half the reason. If you really have the resolve to follow your dream, then... you should be able to do it even If you forget about me. Your my daughter, so I know your a coward too, so If I don't cut my ties with you, I'm sure your going to go back home. I don't want to ruin the resolve and courage that you muster.
