Now that Oliver given a go signal to go home by the doctor. It's time for me to settle the bill at the cashier.
"Mama are we going home now?" Oliver asked.
"Yes my son, I am going to pack our bits and pieces and then when I am done, I want you to stay here, I will settle our bill then we go home. Okay?"
"Okay mama but please hurry." He look at her with his puppy eyes pleading.
"I promise." Her heart soften like marshmallows just looking at his so adorable face.
When she was done packing she went out from the room. She needs to go down at the ground floor that's where the cashier office to pay for their bill.
When she was about to pay, the cashier lady said that the card was declined. Then she give the credit card that her husband given to her a few years ago and she knew that there is enough credit in that one to pay the bill. The lady again said to her that the credit card was declined again. The lady then handed back the card.
"Miss I will be back, I will just need to make a phone call." She said to the lady and leave to make a phone call.
Ring..ring..ring!
"What is it?" John answered.
"The doctor said that we can go out now. At the moment I am in the cashier office and used all the cards that you given to me and they were all declined. What happened John?" She asked.
"I told you that you can't spend the money that I work hard to earned. I cancelled the credit card and I left only enough money for foods for the whole month."
"What? Why? If we can't pay for the bill John we can't leave. Besides this is not for me, this is for our son." She started tearing up and panicking.
"It's your fault for bringing him in that hospital and your negligence that landed him in there so you're the one will pay the bill."
"You know that I relied to you and I wanted to work before but you don't let me. You want me to just look after our family. Where do you want me to get the money to pay the bill?" She really is crying now and she feel that the whole world collapse on to her. Her only thought,how is she going to get Oliver home?
"It's your problem! I am sure you can think of a solution. I have to go!" Then he hang up.
She can't believe it. The husband that she knew before changed so much. He used to be a very caring and a loving husband. A father who dotes very much to his son. She can't understand what made him to be cruel that leave them in this situation right now. She wiped her tears.
She need to toughen herself up and asked her friends if they can lend some money. She doesn't like borrowing and owing to someone but she doesn't have a choice.
She called her friends but they can only lend her few hundred dollars. She thought about it but still not enough so she just said no thank you and declined politely that she won't be borrowing anymore. She said that she will think of a way. Her friends were sad that they can't help her to pay the full amount but she understand that they have their own needs and bills to pay.
She walk back to the cashier office. The line was very long and she waited for her turn and the time has arrive for her to see the cashier lady again.
"Miss I have no way of paying you right now. Is there another way you can do for me please? I can do instalment if you allow it. Please I need to bring my boy home." She pleaded.
"Mrs Johnson this is a very prestigious hospital. You know that this hospital is only for rich. You should not admitted your son here if you can't afford it." The cashier lady said loudly and in a haughty way.
"Yeah true!"
"Correct"
"This poor people! Tsk..tsk..tsk!"
"She has the nerve to come here and no money! What a laugh!"
The people on the back of the line said criticising her and the looks that they give her like she's a dirt that they can step on.
She ignored them and plead again to the lady.
"Please I will pay it little by little. I have money here but it's not enough to pay for the whole amount." She's crying now and the commotion attracted more attention.
"Please I need to speak to your manager."
Hmmmmmmpp! Then she stand up and she call the manager.
"Mrs Johnson it's simple here you pay then we let your son go home but if you don't pay then your son can't go home." The manager said.
"I am asking for a little bit of compassion here." She begged to him.
The manager then observe her. Although she's not so pretty but she has a very nice body, brown complexion but flawless skin and beautifully shaped butt.
"Come with me in my office Mrs Johnson we will talk it there" the manager said.
She followed the manager into his office.
"Sit down and we will talk what I can do to you." The manager said and looking at her with malice.
After she sat to the chair the manager also sat in front of her after he closed and locked the door.
"You know you can pay the bill by giving yourself to me." He then touch one of her legs.
Pa!..
It's the resounding sound of Amelia slap to the manager's hand before it touches her legs and try to stand up and run away outside.
"You poor people like to act clean you make me laugh." Grabbing Amelia's shoulder and force her back to the chair, trapping her and try to kiss her. He try to touch Amelia's legs again but Amelia kneed his private part and scratch him.
He was in deep pain,crouching and touching where his private part is, and she used that moment to unlock the door and run outside to ask help.
"Help me! Please help me!" She run and she reach where the cashier office is and all the people there were startle to her dishevelled appearance.
"What is going on in here?" A male voice asking about the big commotion.
That's the time also the manager arrive and about to grab Amelia but he noticed the male standing beside Amelia.
"Good morning director! This girl scratched me and kicked me when I asked her politely to pay the bill." The manager said.
"He is lying! He is a pervert!" Amelia said in angry, tears falling her eyes and frighten just in case the director will not believe her.
"I don't have the money to pay for the bill right now. I pleaded to him if I can do instalments so I can bring my boy home. But he said he wants to talk to me in the office that's why I followed him. Then he said to give myself to him as a payment and tried to molest me." Amelia narrated of what the manager done.
"You name?" The director asked Amelia's name.
"My name is Amelia Johnson and my son was the one admitted here in your hospital."
At the moment the director got the chilled all over his body and his eyes are so big in shock and he is sweating. He secretly wipe the sweat on his forehead. He is so afraid of losing his life.

*At the mansion the day before*
The brothers arrived at the mansion from the hospital and they were idle in the living room. Seventh called the director in the hospital to come over as he will give him a special instructions.
"Lance we found our mate and her name is Amelia Johnson. Her son admitted in our hospital today. The cashiers been told that all her bills will be credited to my account. Email the cashier department again and all the departments to cater all her needs and her son. Am I clear?" Seventh instruction is final and it's a law. There will be severe consequences if you ignore his direct order especially to a possessive king of vermillion birds.

"You idiot! Her bill was paid already. Did your department received a memo yesterday?" He shouted to the manager and so angry. His only thinking is how to avoid this calamity.
"What memo?" The manager said.
"I sent the memo yesterday stating that Mrs Johnson's bill was paid in full and they can check out any time."
"Brian check his office desk if my memo is there." Lance instructed his secretary.
Of course Brian came back with the memo on his hand and showed it to the manager.
"Where was it? Lance asked.
"It's on top of his desk." Brian replied.
"I...I didn't know." The manager complexion so pale and he is so afraid. He is done he thought.
"Mrs Johnson, my deepest apology! Please accept my bow." Then he bowed.
"We will investigate and take action into this matter. We will punish all the people involved and that I can guarantee you. It is my mistake, my negligence of my part." The director apologised to Amelia.
"You can go home anytime and I will do the rest of the paperwork. You don't have to do anything. I will contact you of the outcome." He added.
"Alright! I will wait for the result." Amelia said and turn around then left to return to Oliver's room. Before she enter she fixed her clothes and hair. She's doing deep breathing and then force herself to smile. She doesn't want Oliver to worry.
When she arrive in the room Oliver is ready to leave the hospital and they left.
