The auctioneer smiled upon hearing this, one gold coin wasn't small in any manner, the Fire Limg seed though was rare, but in normal circumstances it shouldn't be sold at such rate, to be able to sell at this rate was a great bonus to her company.
"Anyone increasing the price?!" The pretty auctioneer said has she increased the loudness of her voice.
"I guess I have to give up, who knew you desperately wanted the seed" The cultivator in box '20' said with a hint of jeer in his voice.
Song Chu's face suddenly became pale, he squeezed his fist tight as anger began to roar in him. He had been played badly, the cultivator didn't have any interest in the seed, he had intentionally dragged with him to increase the price, and then back off when the price had reached an outrageous point, and it worked perfectly, now he had no more chance of struggling with the others for the main material of the day.
"That bastard, i need to find out who he his, no matter who he is I must make sure I cause trouble for him" Song Chu muttered under his breath hurtful as he clenched his palm fiercely.
"Sold! congratulations Clan head Song Chu" The pretty auctioneer said has she handed over the small box containing the seed to the same young man as before who walked towards the infuriated Song Chu.
"The next item to be auctioned is a....." The pretty auctioneer uttered with the same alluring demeanour which never seems to fade.
Several items were brought out, weapons, scrolls, pills and all sort but none of them seemed to catch Lee's eyes, the cultivator in box '20' didn't seem to get tired has continued to trouble other cultivators, once he noticed you desperately want an item, he would struggle with you till the price reaches an outrageous amount and then would stop. Lee wondered if the man had a very strong cultivation base, probably that was why he was causing trouble, but if he didn't, then trouble awaited him after the auction.
"The next item is pretty strange and unusual, it doesn't deal with spiritual cultivation but rather mental energy!"
"Mental energy!" Lee who had been previously picking his fingers, suddenly sat up, his eyes lit up upon hearing the auctioneer's words, he had heard about mental energy from his father, it was more like spiritual energy but it dealt with the mind.
The reaction of the crowd was as expected several silent voices began to circle the room as glints of interest began to flash through their eyes.
The auctioneer snapped her finger and the needed person walked towards her and handed her a small box like the one used to house the fire Limg seed.
She opened the box and in it were five sharp silver long needles that had tips like that of dagger.
"These are called Dragon call needles, normally they are meant to be used for acupuncture but they have been forged like weapons and are used to seal blood flow and at the peak can seal spiritual paths"
"wow" Gasps filled the air, if you can seal the spiritual path of our enemy, what else is left.
"But, it doesn't have any effect on Ring cultivators!" The auctioneer said.
Hisses filled the air on hearing this, most of them had already passed the spiritual refinement stage and so what use was it to them.
"That isn't all, there are several conditions attached to this needles; first you must have some information about the human body, and as I have said before, you must be below the Ring stage and most importantly the procedure of producing mental energy is very tasking as naturally cultivators under the Ring stage shouldn't have mental energy which only those in the Ring stage should possess, so in some cases the individual becomes deranged!"
Deranged!
Few people who still had interest in it began to shake their heads, why would they cultivate something that would make them run mad..no way!
Lee's eyes were as lit as before, Lee was intransigent, so there was no way he was giving up on the needles.
"The Dragon call needles and the cultivation art. The starting price is Three silvers!" The auctioneer said has she smiled slightly with the same alluring demeanour as ever, she knew that it would be quite hard for anyone to bid of the needles, so she had little hope of selling big as the previous ones.
"Five silver coins!" It took few breaths after she had announced that someone yelled out.
"Eight silver coins!"
"Twelve silver coins!" A dark skinned man uttered and no one seemed interested in increasing the price any longer, the cultivator was already chuckling waiting to be handed over when a juvenile voice rang out.
"Thirteen silver coins!"
Lee didn't bother to struggle with them at first, he was quite cautious because of the cunning cultivator in box 20.
"Fifteen silver coins!" The dark skinned man uttered.
"Sixteen silver coins!" Lee's young voice rang out.
"Eighteen silver coins!"
"Nineteen silver coins!" Lee uttered once again.
"Twenty five silver coins!" The dark skinned man who was visibly getting provoked spoke up.
"Twenty six silver coins!"
"Lad stop playing around with me, if you aren't interested in the needles then stop, you acting like the cultivator in that box wouldn't help you" The dark skinned man snorted as he uttered.
"Sir, I am more interested in the needles than you think, I am only trying to stop you from getting it!"Lee said.
"Did that cultivator come along with his son"
Several cultivators began to chuckle as they clearly could discover how Lee was playing around with the dark skinned cultivator.
"This lad is quite smart, he desperately wants the needles, but tries to cover up so that I wouldn't interfere, such a kid. You caught my attention so I wouldn't" The cultivator in box 20 muttered gently as he sipped his wine breathing gentle air on his mustache.
"So you think you overly smart, I don't really care about the needles, I wouldn't fall for this, I am no longer increasing the price you fool" The dark skinned cultivator said has he grinned like a Cheshire cat.
"Sold!" The auctioneer said has she smiled slightly.
"That was easier than expected!" Lee was beaming with smiles uttered excitedly under the mask. The young man that delivered the materials walked Lee's box through the open space that acted as a view.
"Sir!" The young man bowed slightly WS he handed over the small box and a brown scroll.
Lee who had already prepared the coins before his arrival accepted the box and scrolls and handed over to him a pouch.
The young man after receiving the pouch didn't bother to count, but just raised his steps and walked back to his position.
He didn't bother, has daring to cheat the Raging Storm Palace was like stepping on a tiger's tail, they had the money and connection so they had experts who they hired who could make life pretty cumbersome for such person.
