At the end of the week, Minyul had a special surprise and plan for Tatsuya. This weekend, he wasa planning to teach Tatsuya how to use his demonic powers.
That morning, Tatsuya woke up to an unexpected breakfast in bed.
"Whats this for?" Tatsuya asked, still drowsy from his sleep.
"This is for you to start the day." Minyul said while setting the tray on Tatsuya's lap.
"Huh?"
"Today I'm going to train you to use your demonic powers." Minyul said with an excited and pleased grin on his face.
Tatsuya was excited to finally be able to learn how to use his demonic powers, but he was also worried. Worried that he wouldn't be able to use any or be able to control it, but the thing he was most worried about how he might hurt Minyul or do damage to the city.
Finally he hesitantly he said, "O-ok fine, but promise you will put up a barrier so I don't damage the city."
"Of course master." Minyul said happily because his master agreed.
They both finished their breakfast and went to an abandoned building to train. Once they got there Minyul set up a barrier and they got to work.
First, they needed to figure out what powers Tatsuya had.
Minyul drew a complex pentagram on the floor and said, "Ok, now go and step inside it then I'll give you further instructions."
Tatsuya stepped inside the pentagram and immediately began to feel an odd heaviness.
Minyul handed a knife to Tatsuya and told him, "Cut your wrist with the knife, then let blodd drop onto the pentagram."
Tatsuya did as he was told and once the blood dropped onto the floor, the pentagram glowed in a blood red color. All of a sudden, words that were written in blood appeared on the floor, then the glowing stopped.
The words was a list of all the powers Tatsuya had. Minyul began to read, "Blood manipulation, metal manipulation, element manipulation, illusion magic-" then he was shocked at what he saw. He read the last thing and that was, "Magic capacity."
"All the other ones are really straightforward, but what is magic capacity?" Tatsuya asked.
Minyul stayed silent for a moment then said, "Magic capacity is the ability to be able to learn any type of magic."
Minyul was shocked because this ability was extremely rare. Mist demons had their set of 3 - 5 abilities, but Tatsuya had the ability to learn any ability.
'How powerful is this guy?' Minyul thought.
Minyul thought logically on what skill he should help Tatsuya with first. He decided to do element magic first since that would be a starting point into metal manipulation and illusion magic which also uses the elements.
"We are going to start with element magic," Minyul explained, "this will help ease you into metal manipulation and illusion magic. The basics of elemental is fire, earth, water, and air. I will teach you air, then fire, then earth, then water because that is the alignment of your most compatible to least compatible."
Tatsuya nodded.
"Focus the outcome of your spell. Use the air around your body to create a small cyclone."
Instead of the outcome, Tatsuya focussed on the process of his spell. He thought, 'First concentrate on the air around your body. Second, focus on moving the air. Third, focus the air in one direcretion and fourth, constantly bend the air in a constant speed.'
While he was thinking this it seemed to be almost 10 seconds, but in reality it all happened in a fraction of a second.
When the small cyclone appeared, Minyul was shocked. He knew that Tatsuya would be able to pick things up quick, but he didn't think that he would be able to do this on his first try.
Then, the cyclone dispersed and Tatsuya asked, "Did I do good?"
Minyul looked at Tatsuya and said still in shock, "Yeah, you did really well. I didn't expect you to pull it off on your first try though." after a moments pause Minyul asked, "Do you feel completely comfortable using air?"
Tatsuya responded, "Yes actually it isn't as hard as it seems."
The rest of the day went on like this. Each thing that Minyul taught Tatsuya was being mastered juat like that. During this time, Tatsuya mastered air, fire, earth, and water. He was also able to activate spells without even thinking about it. By evening Tatsuya had mastered all the elements.
They walked back to the apartment and Tatsuya felt a lot lighter on his feet. He felt that he was happy and that the longing feeling within him was now gone. Though, he didn't know if it was because he was always with Minyul or from some other reason.
By the time they got back, it was already time for dinner so they ordered Tatsuya's favorite, pizza. Tatsuya loved pizza, but because he didn't have a lot of money, it wasn't something he could buy often.
They ordered a surpreme pizza with some soda and had a great dinner.
After they ate their dinner, Minyul went to take a shower. Tatsuya handed him some more extra clothes, then realized that he was running out. Minyul only had about 5 pairs of clothes, so Tatsuya decided to plan something special for Minyul.
After Minyul got out of the shower, Tatsuya took a shower then they both went to their separate rooms to sleep.
Tatsuya looked on the computer to check his account balance and he was running low. Only about enough to get Minyul some clothes and to pay for rent and food for the next month. He needed money.
He has been running off of money that his parents had left him before they died. It lasted him for way longer than he expected, but he still needed a job. He applied for a job at two different coffee shops and at a grocery store. He just needed a basic job for after school. He also applied Minyul into the same jobs hoping they could get a job together and make some extra money. After he applied their resumes, he finally went to bed.
Later in the night, Minyul had woken up and went into Tatsuya's room. He wanted to sleep next to his little rabbit and hold him. Minyul quietly walked into the room and got into the bed. He layed down and gently wrapped his arms around Tatsuya to make sure he didn't wake up and said, "Goodnight my little rabbit." and kissed Tatsuya's forehead. Then, they both drifted into a calming and deep sleep.
