Chapter 62 - Mr. Perfect

[ At the cafeteria ]

The cafeteria in recess time was crowded full with a sea of students who's hungry after 3 hours straight of learning. The smells of a variety of dishes, desserts and beverages display on the counter make everyone can't wait for recess time.

When Angeline and Kitana happily walked into the cafeteria as they laughed, trying to forget her bad day, the evil eyes locked on her. They were waiting for her to come.

From far they didn't see Frost nor Edgar but Jimmy and Olivia in the crowd. "Don't you ever think of that, girl" Kitana giggled as Angeline pulled her hand. Is there any day where Angeline leave Jimmy alone? - I don't think so...

"Ah... shit here we go again..." Jimmy facepalmed and looked at her annoying little sister who came towards them. "Why do you bring her here?" He asked Kitana as he whispered. Jimmy gave her a bitter smile as he doesn't like Angeline to be there. She brings shame to him in front of his girlfriend but Olivia likes his sister so much.

Angeline talked so much stuff with Olivia until she forgot recess time was only left 15 minutes. Both of them rushed to buy food and drinks. "Angeline!" A familiar manly voice called her from behind.

Angeline and Kitana who's still munching on their food saw Edgar with a brown paper bag and a chocolate milkshake in his hand. "Here for you" Edgar gave the brown paper bag in front of Angeline. She was so happy. What's this?

A memo took by her and it says

"I saw them and it reminds me of you. I hope you like it. Always love you... Your lovable boyfriend, Frost"

Even though it is short but it so meaningful to her. She can't hide the smile that he gave her through the short message. A piece of red velvet cake, chocolate cake and vanilla cake were arranged inside a container with a plastic spoon.

"Where is he?" Angeline asked as she put back the sweet memo from him. Edgar told her that Frost was still in the class. He just hates to be in a crowded place. - He cants stand it!

BTW, today Frost is late as he stopped by at the nearby bakery store. The school's gate closed at 6.45 am, and he woke up at 6. Since he lives alone, he has no one to cook his breakfast and iron his clothes. With an untidy school uniform, he drifted like bat out of hell to school.

Angeline saddened and Kitana cleared her throat. "Should we go now? The bell rang 3 minutes ago." Kitana cut their conversation when she finished washing her hand at the nearby sink and wipe it using her white and red handkerchief. Edgar forgot that he was still holding the milkshake and they were about to leave.

"Here, this is for you" Edgar gave the chocolate milkshake in her palm. Kitana smiled as she didn't believe that hers. Sweet smile carved on her face melt his beating heart. "Really? Thank you" She thanked him when Edgar nodded and softly ruffled her hair. Being the youngest among them was great...

Edgar and Kitana were like a couple, sweet towards each other while Frost and her mostly act like strangers, acting awkwardly in front of each other yet she still comfortable with both of them.

Angeline and Kitana walked back to their class on the second floor as the cafeteria was located beside the wide school field. "Is Frost always hate crowded place?" Angeline opened a topic.

"Not really... whenever he sits, even when he's at the cafeteria, there will be a group of girls trying to sit beside him and it makes him angry" Kitana explained wide and long to make her bestie understand that her boyfriend is than she thought.

"Why?" She stopped. Jealousy filled her heart and she needs a reason to sweep away her doubt about him. "Basically, he is each and every girl's 'Mr. Perfect' " Kitana wiggled her eyebrows.

She didn't know to lie and why she wanted to lie anyway. His dreamy blue eyes admired by most of the junior and some of them say that he's her girlfriend.

"Are you JEALOUS?" Kitana teasingly nudged her with her. "No, where did you get that idea" she rushed into the class leaving Kitana who's still laughing and giggling outside the empty class.
