Lucifer was right now running towards the opposite of the shore where he first stepped on this island. His heartbeat was fast that it could reach his ears and his breath was haggard. But he did not have a choice except tot run as fast as could.
Behind him were many 'residents' of this island. They do not look least bit pleased about having him as their guest.
As he was running, he heard some loud footsteps ahead of him. Loud and heavy enough to shake a small part of the island. He instantly started making a detour around that direction. As he was thinking of how long detour he should make, he heard a loud painful roar coming towards the direction, where he heard the loud footsteps and it was coming towards his direction too.
He tried to ignore that and kept running with mindset of 'will start thinking again after getting out of here'. After trying himself he managed to find shore. From the fact that he didn't find these 'residents' on his first night, he deduced that they can't follow him to the shore so he started to feel some hope but just when he just some foots away from the shore a black shadow jumped at him and made him fell.
'Sticky' was his first thought. After some struggling and punching he managed to get some distance between them. It was black 'thing' crawling on two hands and feet. From its physique it looked weak. But when it jumped at him again, he also discovered that it was unbelievably fast.
Before Lucifer could react, he fell again with the 'thing'. Luckily his hands moved instinctively and made their way between his head and that thing. Right at this moment he also heard that loud painful roar. By the loudness it felt like it was quite near. And some of 'residents' also appeared.
Now, Lucifer truly felt fear of his life. He started panicking. He used all his strength to push away that 'thing' and run to the sea as fast as his legs could. At this time ground shook violently. His pursuers as if thinking 'everything going as planned' didn't even flinched at the ground shaking.
Just as he was one step away from jumping into the sea, a loud explosion almost tore his eardrums. The disturbance this time in the island was so great that he fell. He turned around only to sea the volcano erupting. Then without waiting for further ado, he jumped into the water and started swimming away from that island as fast as possible.
After swimming for about an hour, he arrived at another island. He rested there and decided to think of his next destination where he could survive. From the previous he saw he was near to one of the small continents. So, thinking that he might meet some survivors there, he decided to go there.
After that he started adventuring from one island to another. He just was filled with many obstacles like thunder suddenly striking targeting at him, sea tornadoes which he was able to survive with hair's breadth. After travelling for two weeks he found that …. He was lost. So, he started his journey again.
After a month of adventuring with his life he finally found what he was looking for.
After he arrived at the shore, his 'sixth sense' started giving him guidance. And followed it like a person lost in desert going towards water. As he arrived at the place where his 'sixth' was guiding him, he was surprised to see that he found …. Nothing.
He was in forest not dense but not small too. He was surrounded by trees and behind him a big steep rock towering even above the trees. He found nothing strange which filled him with suspicion. He started wandering around. On the back side of the rock he found a cave like entrance which was emitting a green light. Light green to be specific. Which was hardly noticeable in this area filled with greenery? He decided to investigate further.
As he reached the outskirts of the cave, he found a light green ball of light the size of fist floating in mid-air. He was heading further into the cave to investigate further when a heard a low growl behind him. He turned around and saw a bull twice its original size. Surprisingly there was no additional body parts or anything extraordinary about this bull, which was rare considering the amount of 'advanced versions' he had seen, except its size and moving horns.
The bull showed him a frightening look and stepped aside from the path it was blocking. Lucifer, at first was confused at its actions but then something dawned on him 'Oh, this bull has quite surprising intellect'. Lucifer being tired didn't want to fight a battle which he had almost no chance of winning, not mention he was tired.
So, he accepted this goodwill from Mr. Bull and backed off from there peacefully. Lucifer having no idea that he was being spied on kept walking, looking for a place to comfortably sleep on. Not finding anything useful to make a bed he decided to sleep on shore using some branches with leaves on top as a pillow.
He started feeling thirsty, so he headed to the seawater to drink. In that one-month long journey, when he was fleeing from a sea monster, he found that drinking seawater didn't have much effect on him excluding that bad taste.
After returning to his sleeping post, he was surprised, even among the surprises he got from this world, this surprise was still bigger. At his sleeping post he found someone lying, resting his head on the pillow Lucifer created. But what truly surprised him was not about finding another survivor. What was out of his expectation was that the person who was resting at his place was someone he found familiar.

With a dark face, which he tried hiding but couldn't, he shouted the name of the person who was resting at his place like it was made for him with a leisurely expression on his face was the researcher whom he warned 'directly', whom he thought still had some humanity left in him.
