A young man was staring at the roof of his dilapidated house in a daze, seemingly unsure of what was currently going on and it was all real. He eventually pinched himself on the cheek as hard as he could, drawing a gasp from him.
"Hiss! Damn, did I really transmigrate into another world? Damn, why me of all people? It just had to be a common otaku who can't even cook for himself!" The young man angrily stated to himself.
His name is, or was, Bu Fan. He was somehow killed while he was playing a video game back in his house on Earth, with no idea how he had actually died. One second he was playing a game, the next second everything turned black and then he was here.
He originally thought this was a prank by someone at first, but considering he has no friends nor family, he ruled that answer out. The next option was this being a new world, but he shrugged it off as a joke until he suddenly absorbed the original memories of his current body, Chen Aotian.
"Damn, not only was I transmigrated to some fucked up cultivation world, I even transmigrated into an abandoned trash young master?! The heck is this?!" Screamed the new Chen Aotian, thankful nobody was around to hear him.
Chen Aotian, the 3rd Young Master of the Chen Clan, one of the Four Great Clans in Wind Chasing Imperial City. Originally had a bright future ahead of him, managing to raise his cultivation to True Warrior Realm at age 11. At age 14 he had reached the peak of True Warrior Realm and was estimated to breakthrough to Mystic Warrior Realm at age 15, but was suddenly ambushed during his breakthrough, his dantian completely crippled, turning him from a world shaking genius to a trash who can't even cultivate. In a world of cultivators, it was only natural he was treated with disdain and looked down upon.
Even so, he still persisted and continued to attempt to cultivate for 3 more years, until he died at the age of 18 due to a poison that was unknowingly planted in his body since he was 13 years old. It was a type of sinister poison that takes an entire 5 years to erupt, the higher the cultivation of the target, the more pain they would be in. Since Chen Aotian did not have any cultivation, he passed away without much pain, which is where our current Chen Aotian, formerly Bu Fan, took over his body.
"Shit, this guys life was horrible. He just wanted to be a good son and look after his family once he got stronger, but he was actually betrayed by the same family, poisoned by them at age 13 and sneakily attacked and crippled by them. The sad thing is, both those events happened due to his father! Shit, how did the original Chen Aotian not realize it?" Chen Aotian said to himself while shaking his head.
Even if he was glad to be able to live again after death, he would truly rather he stayed dead than to be sent to this world as someone who can't even cultivate. He has read enough novels to understand nothing good will happen to him, as depicted by the last 3 years of memories of the old Chen Aotian.
"Sigh, just how did I even end up here? Did someone send me here? If so, could they at least make me able to cultivate or something?" Chen Aotian sighed while shaking his head, suddenly being startled by a voice in his head.
