In the car Amanda was sitting beside Angela. They arrived in the parking of Guryon Complex main building; it contained two hundred floors and fifty-nine working elevators. Amanda got out of the car with Angela. She moved towards the red door where two guards with guns were stationed. They stepped aside for the lady to pass. She took out a card from her purse and scanned it. The door opened; Amanda entered with Angela. All the lights lit the room. Angela had never been into the main Guryon Complex before and not that secret room either. While walking beside Amanda, Angela observed her surroundings, the whole room was covered with mirrors which seemed like an infinite maze.
Amanda paused before a mirror wall and placed her right hand at the edge. A moment later the wall before them split in half and a voice sounded, "Welcome Amanda!"
There was another elevator ahead but it was different. Amanda entered the elevator with Angela. "To the roof!", she ordered. Amanda brought Angela close to her and faced the other side.
"Hold on to me and look straight!" Angela grasped the latter's hand tightly and looked straight as she was instructed.
There was another mirror in front. "Open the window!", commanded Amanda.
The moment Amanda ordered, a second later the lights in the elevator turned off and the mirror before the duo separated in half. Sun rays entered and lit up the elevator. Angela closed her eyes tightly when sunlight blocked her vision. Shortly after, Angela opened her eyes and saw the whole city in front. When she looked down at her feet, she grasped Amanda's arm in fear.
Because the floor was transparent. It appeared like she was flying. "It's okay! You are standing on the floor." Amanda comforted the little girl beside her. Since, Amanda was already holding hands with Angela; she stepped forward, "Take a good look at the city you live in."
Angela gazed at the city. The rays of setting Sun sketched a pleasant view. She was immersed in her thoughts when she heard Amanda, "Look at your left! That's the Guryon manor—our home!"
Angela looked to her left and indeed found the Guryon manor. She focused her gaze and looked at Amanda with surprise. Amanda just smiled in return, "So, you also noticed!"
Few moments later, they reached the roof top. The door behind them opened. Amanda turned around and said, "Come on! Let's go!"
When they exited the elevator, the next thing Angela saw, blew away her mind. A helicopter was present in front. Angela realized that she was standing on the Helipad. On the other hand, the helicopter didn't seem like an ordinary one. It was custom designed and it had Guryon family symbol on its tail.
Amanda opened the front door of the right beside the pilot seat.
"Hop in Angela!"
Angela was fidgeting and stood before the door. It was a bit high for her so Amanda lifted her up and helped her getting in. "Be careful with the dress!", Amanda reminded.
Angela carefully sat on the seat. Amanda clipped the seat belt of the girl, she closed the door and entered from the other side and sat on the pilot seat. When Amanda glanced at the girl, she noticed that the girl was looking around in amazement. Amanda chuckled inwardly; she closed the door, buckled up and wear the headset and gave the other one to the girl.
"Angela, put on the headset."
"This is GURYON-FC-101 requesting for permission to fly, over!", Amanda contacted the station through radio.
"GURYON-FC-101 you are good to go, over!"
"Roger that!", Amanda confirmed. She clicked some buttons to start the helicopter. The blades of main rotor and tail rotor began spinning. Few seconds later, Amanda lifted the helicopter off the helipad and drove towards the east. She looked at Angela who was heaving deep breaths due to height. She stared at Amanda and made some hand signs. Amanda somewhat understood her signs by reading her facial expressions. "Are you asking where are we going?"
Angela nodded. "I can't tell you right now! You'll have to wait and see for yourself! Until then…enjoy the view!", replied Amanda.
Angela shifted her gaze below and indeed enjoyed the view of the city in the sunset when she calmed down.

Thirty minutes later, they were flying over the sea. The stars were twinkling in the sky. "We have arrived!", Amanda informed through headset. Angela looked around but didn't find anything solid to land on. Amanda dived right where a Mega Cruise Ship was stationed. She brought the helicopter over the helipad area of the ship. "This is Amanda! Please clear the Helipad area, over!"
"This is captain speaking! The helipad is cleared for landing, over!"
"Roger that!", Amanda confirmed. "This is going to be a little messy!", she mentioned and carefully landed the helicopter on the helipad. When they landed Amanda looked at Angela, "Was it okay?" the girl gave a thumbs up with an awkward smile. Amanda chuckled, "Just wait, I'll get you down!"
When the rotor stopped Amanda got out and opened the door from Angela's side, she undid her seat belt and helped her to get down from her seat. Amanda crouched down and fixed Angela's dress.
"Now get ready!"
They climbed the stairs, when they were about to reach the main deck Amanda halted and said, "Why don't you go ahead? I have to meet someone so go on without me!" Angela didn't want Amanda to leave her side but she couldn't convince the latter to remain by her side either therefore, she just accepted half-heartedly and walked up the remaining stairs.
When she reached the main deck, the lights were out. There was no one except for her on the main deck. She sighed and sauntered towards the railings of the main deck. Shortly after, the cruise began moving. Angela stared at the city. The street lights felt like little stars and the transport felt like fireflies moving in order. The speed of the wind passed by her face increased as the ship accelerated.
Angela turned around to check the other side. Suddenly the lights lit out of nowhere and she heard a chant, "SURPRISE!" it belonged to Rebecca, Jennifer and the several maids. Angela didn't even recover from the surprise when the party popper exploded over her head and everybody said in unison, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGELA!"
Angela looked at them dumbfoundedly. She noticed her surroundings and found out that it was indeed the case. Rebecca stepped forward and crouched in front of her; she kissed her forehead and gently propped her cheeks, "Happy birthday my dear! May you live happy forever!"
Rebecca held her hand and brought her towards the table where a Big cake was placed. Angela stood before the table. Jennifer was also standing next to the table, she crouched in front of her and took a good look at the girl.
Angela was wearing a midnight-blue colored dress with lace bell sleeves, her fiery red hairs had a side pony with braided style, a red bead necklace around her neck and a tiara on her head. Bree did a bit of make-up on Angela; she put a blood red lipstick on her lips and did some red eye shadowing. She seemed like a comic character.
Jennifer glanced at Rebecca, "She looks really amazing in that dress! Absolutely stunning! Bree really did a good job this time." Jennifer moved closer to Angela and gave a peck on her snow-white cheeks which had become red due to embarrassment and wished, "Happy birthday, Angela! Many, many happy returns!"
Angela was getting surprised all day but there was something amiss. She was looking left and right like she was looking for someone. Suddenly, someone covered her eyes from behind and whispered in her ears, "Guess who~"
Angela was familiar with the voice she smiled and wrote a name on the hand of mysterious person. The hands gently uncovered her eyes, Angela turned around and saw Leonardo standing there with a grin. Her face expressions transformed into worried ones. She asked him through signs, "Are you still mad at me for what I said?"
"I was never mad at you silly! You are my best friend! I was just pretending to be angry so that I could surprise you tonight.", Leonardo said with a big smile. "But I did hurt you, so for that—", he crouched on one knee, held Angela's hand and looked into her eyes and confessed, "I deliberately ignored you and made you cry. I cannot return those priceless tears of yours that you shed because of my misconduct therefore, I Leonardo Guryon ask for your forgiveness, Angela Evergarden!"
"Ho! Ho!", Jennifer covered her mouth in embarrassment.
Rebecca and the maids gaped at the couple in silence. Rebecca moved forward to interrupt the duo when Jennifer stopped her from behind. "Let him be! He worked so hard on it for the last couple of days. I won't let you ruin their moment of reunion! This is their problem, let them resolve it by themselves!"
After listening to Jennifer's explanation, Rebecca retracked her steps and watched the duo in the center.
On the other hand, Angela's eyes moistened after hearing the words of Leonardo, she made some signs which meant, "Okay!" Leonardo eyes sparkled with happiness. He smiled and confirmed, "Have you really forgiven me?" Angela nodded in response.
"See! they are not some regular children who can't resolve their own problems. They are the seedlings of Guryon family who can handle anything on their own." Jennifer remarked with a grin. Rebecca didn't know what to say so she just remained silent.
Meanwhile, Leonardo got up and said with a bright smile, "Thank you Angela! And happy birthday!" He gestured Angela to get closer to him and whispered, "Angela, you look like a fairy of the fantasy world!"
Hearing his praise for the first time in her life, Angela stared at him with an astonished gaze. Her heart began beating like crazy which caused a commotion in her emotional state. The blood in her veins gushed like a steam engine. Angela was already bushing from certain greetings but Leonardo's sudden praise made her whole face more red. She averted her eyes and couldn't look directly into his deep blue eyes for some reason. She lowered her head and made a sign of thank you. Leonardo giggled and asked, "When are you going to cut the cake?"
Angela looked at the cake and recovered from emotional surge by the former sudden question. "I don't know—–I think when Lady Jennifer wishes!", she replied while stealing glances at him.
"Hmm! Then I'll ask grandma about this!", Leonardo mentioned and ran towards Jennifer to ask for permission.
Whereas, Angela kept staring at the back of the boy.
