Jun Mochen and Mo Ying stood at the highest point of the palace, their gazes fixed on the enormous vortex swirling ominously in the sky above them.
The immense power emanating from the vortex caused a grave expression to settle on Jun Mochen's face.
"Mo Ying, have you located those two individuals?" he inquired.
The specter knelt before him, his head bowed. "Lord Demon Venerable, I am useless. Those two have vanished once again."
This time, Jun Mochen did not express anger. Instead, he continued to observe the vortex and remarked, "Let us set this matter aside for the moment. That unusual phenomenon in the sky is connected to an event concerning the Demon Emperor from long ago. Its appearance at this time is troubling."
"Proceed there immediately. If you encounter those two, crush the jade token I provided. I shall descend personally."
