When Chairman Lee sent Anna and her mother away, she started to get sick. They would always get out of one hospital to the next in search of treatment. It was the most stressful time in Anna's life. She tried so hard to be strong but every time she was alone, she completely fell apart.
When she came back from buying groceries and heard that her mother had died, all of the feelings she held deep down came gushing out. She was inconsolable.
The doctors had to pry her off her mother's body so that she could be taken to the morgue.
She did not even get to say goodbye to this person that she so loved.
Her mother had been her rock, a shoulder and the support she needed. To her, it was such a sad thing that her mother had died early. She did not get to see her achieve all the things that she had achieved!
Anna was dreaming about those days. The happiness, the despair and the utmost anguish of the events that followed.
