Liam was finally out of the hospital. Three days turned almost three weeks, it was because of his mom. Now, he wished he can flew away from the hospital, he couldn't stand even the sight of doctors and nurses anymore.
His first location was Adrianna's shooting location. He wanted to meet her knowing that she 's finally back. This three weeks, he finally understand how busy she was as she always flew out of the county for her job.
Kyle drove Liam to Adrianna's shooting location. He kept complaining that they should go home first but Liam asked him to brought his suit to the hospital and he changed into his working attire and left to meet his savior. There's nothing he can do because his best friend is his boss.
Since they arrived kind of early and she was still in the middle of her photoshoot, they had no choice but to go to the nearest restaurant first. Half an hour later, Kyle received a message from Adrianna's photography crew that she was finally having her break.
"Adrianna is currently having a break. Do you want to go now?" Kyle asked.
"No need, she's here…" Liam said as his eyes kept staring at the beautiful supermodel walking towards them.
"She's here? How? Did you call her in advance?" Kyle asked. He also turned to look at the front door of the restaurant and saw a waiter ushered Adrianna inside the restaurant and only then, they saw Adrianna's father. James Winters.
So she's meeting her dad. It seems like Liam's plan to meet Adrianna in person was still unsuccessful. Man, how busy was this woman? Even a CEO like Liam is not as busy as her.
"So…rain check?" Kyle asked.
"Let's wait first…" Liam finally spoke as his eyes never left Adrianna's face the moment she entered the restaurant. He was seated facing her but it seems like Adrianna was unaware as her focus was on her dad but she looked unhappy.
Liam started to frown. Why was she unhappy? Was it because of her fiancée? She loved him? Liam clenched his fist. Why was he having this feeling? She was nothing but his savior. Liam looked at her the moment she took off her shade. His stomach started to flutter when he saw her emerald eyes. What is this feeling?
"Are you even my dad?" she asked him. Liam finally heard her voice. Her voice's beautiful too, though she didn't sound that she was happy.
"Of course I am, Adrianna I believe Jace went astray just for a moment, you knew how men was…talk properly to him and everything would be alright"
Liam scoffed after listening to such absurd thing. Kyle also scrunched his face. What kind of father was he, choosing outsider side instead of his own daughter?
"Wow…I can't believe this, I thought my dad would support me after what he has done to me but now you are asking me to forgive and forget. What do you think of me? A fool? Just because I'm a woman, I'm supposed to forgive him and accept him back?"
'Yes, if you don't want to be a fool, don't ever forgive him?' Kyle whispered in his mind, he noticed that Liam was staring at Adrianna intently like he wanted to bore a hole on her face. His face was serious too, like he was ready to pounce and kill someone.
Adrianna suddenly stood up from her seat and Liam felt like jumping to hug her but he had to remain calm, he still wanted to listen to their conversation and he saw James hold onto her arm. He saw how Adrianna's face was contorted with hurt, she was at the verge of crying but she was finally seated back to her seat.
Liam held onto his breath. He wanted to smooth the frown on her face and he wanted to hold her into his arm and comfort her. He knew that she was hurt by her father's word.
"Dad, did you know that I caught them themselves?"
"Oh-oh!" Kyle whispered, he was surprised. So Adrianna knew about the scandal before the they broke out.
Adrianna laughed as she took out her phone from her purse. "Do you want to know who the person that he was cheating with?"
Liam and Kyle was curious too, they also wanted to know.
Adrianna said nothing but her hand was quick pressing and swiping something on her phone before James looked at his pocket when he heard his phone beeping.
Then, after a few second, Kyle almost chocked onto his saliva when he heard a lewd sound coming from James' cellphone. But James quickly stopped watching as he was frowning while clenching the phone.
"Adrianna…I am sorry..I.."
Adrianna smiled as she wiped away her tears from the corner of her eyes. Liam held the corner of the table tightly. Please don't cry Adrianna. He pleaded as he saw the crystal clear water pooled inside the beautiful eyes.
"You know Dad, I always did what you wanted me to do without fail, you enrolled me to study MBA and I did so. I even graduated with flying colours and top of my class though it was just me fulfilling your condition in order to pursue my dream of getting my engineering degree. Later, you asked me to get engaged with Jace, I don't even know him but I followed your wish, then for the sake of Jace, you asked me to decline Victoria Secret's offer and I did so without complaining…you married Olivia two years after mom died, I said nothing…
Then, you brought Nancy home and treated her as your precious daughter and I thought maybe you wanted to show her the fatherly love and let her being your daughter until you…"Adrianna choked on her words before she continued.
"…until you forgot that you have another daughter and you even forgot my birthday not once but many times but you never forgot Nancy's, you brought her everything, gave her everything and I was okay since I treated her as my sister. But did you know that deep down inside my heart, I long for your love too. You has changed since Olivia and Nancy came into your life. But now, your 'precious daughter' slept with my fiancée and you asked me to close my eyes and forgive them as if it wasn't happened...what do you want actually? What do you want from me? Did you even love me? Was it because of the company that grandpa left for me? I'll give them to you…I don't want them…but please, let me have my own life…this matter is about my future, not because I am the heir of Winters Corporation…"
Kyle mouth was open in shocked. What the hell?!!Nancy? He had heard about her before but never meet her in person. She was James' step daughter. Nancy claimed herself as Adrianna's younger sister.
Liam finally sighed in relief. At least, he knew that Adrianna was not in love with that cheater. Though he pitied her but he was mesmerized knowing that she was not only beautiful but she was a smart woman too. He didn't know that she has an MBA and she has a degree in engineering too. She was truly a beauty with brain.
However, he's kind of losing respect towarda James after learning what he had done to his own flesh and blood. Liam saw Adrianna stood up and started walking away.
Then a few seconds later, came another figure into the restaurant. He learnt that she was Adrianna manager and she was also her best friend, Alicia. The manager talked to James and told him the whole story of how Adrianna was called to the hospital by mistake and she even donated her blood for him though she was afraid of needle. He also learn that Adrianna has a heart of gold and he agreed when Alicia spoke her mind about, they don't deserve Adrianna. She was indeed selfless person.
After Alicia left, James also left. Liam took a glance at the figure of a good looking middle-aged man who just walked out of the restaurant. Kyle was doing the same too.
"No wonder Adrianna is a beauty herself, just look at her dad, he's still dashing even at this age." Kyle commented. He noticed the eyes of women were drawn towards James the moment he left the restaurant.
"I can't believe this, we got to listen to Adrianna's whole story by just sitting here. I think, If I apply for a paparazzi job, I would beat all the paparazzi out there." Kyle made a remark and noticed how the temperature decreased in second.
"I was joking. I wouldn't do that to Adrianna." Kyle refuted but Liam still glared at him. "I am sorry, I would never do that…"
Liam sighed. He didn't get to meet Adrianna in person but he admired her courage and her determination to protect herself.
"Call the marketing team, we are having a meeting in one hour." Liam finally stood up from his chair.
"Wait, are you going straight to the office? Your mom will kill me if she found out."
"…and I will fire you if you fail to do so."Liam threatened once again.
"Oh geez…tell me again, why am I working with you?" Kyle pulled put out his phone while they were walking and called the office.

Carol Kim walked into LW Tech ; after she heard that Liam was back to the office. Carol is a Manager at Public Affairs and she was a mixed blood.
Her father is a British while her mother is a Korean American. She was known for her unique beauty as she was mixed blood.
She went to the same college as Liam and she had a crush on him. Right after her graduation, she applied for a position at Liam's company. She has been working at LW Tech for five years now.
She never confessed her feelings to Liam but everyone in the office knew, well mostly her staff, believed that she's going to be Mrs Lockwood.
Liam Lockwood was never seen with any woman except Carol herself. So, because of that, Carol has a quite high reputation at the company. Other women envy her but they were no match compared to her.
Carol just came back from outstation when she heard about Liam's accident, she wanted to go and visit him but Kyle said, Liam was already back to the office.
She wasted no time and went straight to the company the moment her flight landed.
Upon reaching Liam's office, Carol knocked on the door. After hearing his voice. She pushed the door open.
"Li- Mr Lockwood, you are back" Carol beamed with happiness the moment she saw him. She almost called him 'Liam' and she knew that Liam disliked that, he preferred her to call him as Mr Lockwood especially at the working place.
Liam was busy discussing something with Kyle and Adam, from planning department. They glanced to look at her but then continued with their discussion. Carol took a seat on the couch. Letting them finished.
"If there's nothing else, I'll proceed with the casting". Adam said and Liam nodded his head.
Finally they were finished. Carol stood up and looked at Adam as the man bowed to her and left the room.
"Hey Carol! How are you?" Kyle greeted her as Liam continue to look at his computer without saying anything to the woman in front of him. Kyle knew Carol has a crush on Liam but of course, Liam being Liam. He has no interest in women, until recently, when Adrianna Winters came crashing into his life unintentionally.
"Hello Kyle. So I heard that Mr Lockwood was hospitalised and I came to visit him." Carol said as she glanced at Liam. She felt awkward as Liam treated her as invincible.
Liam finally looked at Carol. "Do you have something to discuss with me Miss Kim?" Liam asked.
"No, I just came to visit you. I just came back from outstation and I..."
"If there's nothing important, you can go. I have work to do."Liam spoke his mind and Kyle almost faced palm.
Carol's face was red with embarrassment.
"I am sorry Mr Lockwood. I-I'll go now." Carol bowed to them and left the office.
Kyle shook his head. "You are being rude to her, don't you know that."
Rude?
"How was I rude? I just told her that I have work, I need my privacy to finish this coding. You also should leave, don't disturb me." Liam focus was back on his computer as he continued to type a string of codes.
Kyle sighed before he went to the sofa. Today, he was supposed to go home and rest but Liam being Liam, got back to work as soon as he was discharged from the hospital. Kyle had no choice but to follow this man's rhythm. So, this was his chance to take a nap before Liam asked him to do something else.
One hour later, Liam's fingers finally stopped typing. He has completed the coding. Stretching his arm as he looked at Kyle. Liam shook his head at the sight of Kyle sleeping. He also snored. Then, his mind was back to today's unofficial meeting with Adrianna. Remembering her name only, made something flutter inside his stomach. His finger move to search for something.
After two hours, Kyle finally woke up, the first thing he saw was Liam. He was not moving and was staring at his computer's screen. Looking like he was lost in his own world.
Kyle also heard some faint music from Liam's computer. Is he watching something? Curious, Kyle moved discreetly behind Liam to look at the source of Liam's distraction.
Fashion show. Liam was watching online fashion show, it was no other than Adrianna's video. It was a compilation of Adrianna's runaway made by her fans.
This is new. Liam Lockwood never glanced at women twice. Moreover, to watch a show; fashion show with the appearance of only one woman.
"She's hot…Imagine having that sexy legs wrapped around your waist." Kyle commented.
"Hmm…" Liam muttered and an image of Adrianna under him came to his mind.
His stomach did a backflip and he suddenly became uncomfortable as he felt his body's temperature suddenly rising.
Liam held his breath for a second. Wait! What was that? Why was he having a dirty thought all of sudden?
Liam finally realized what Kyle had done. He felt rather guilty for having such lewd thought about Adrianna merely because of Kyle's words. He immediately closed the laptop and glared at Kyle.
"What? I wasn't talking about my waist but yours" Kyle grinned with a look of 'I know what you are thinking'.
"Shut up. Don't ever talked about her that way or I'll kill you.."
"Protective much. I should let Mrs Lockwood know about this." Kyle teased.
Liam ignored him as he rose from the seat and walked away.
Kyle grinned mischievously before he followed Liam . He put his arm on Liam's shoulder as they walked.
"Let's have dinner at our usual place."
