'I wonder if there is a limit towards my upgrading ability.' Jack Faust thought, whilst tilting his head slightly as he thinke.
And then he thought to himself, 'Can I continuously upgrade these pair of prescribed glasses with my upgrade token, or is there a limit to the number of upgrade that the piece of equipment could handle. And what happens when I fail the upgrade, will the upgraded item be destroyed or possibly lost durability.'
Thoughts keep popping up withinside his head, one after another, in order to curbed his curiosity. He then decided to test it out and see what the outcome of the experiment is.
[Would you like to upgrade the (Pair of Prescribed Glasses) for 2 upgrade tokens?]
Similar to the first case, Jack Faust could instinctively feel some energy residing withinside him slowly leaving his body, and steadily wrapping itself around the pair of prescribed glasses.
And once Jack Faust have gave the upgrading system the mental confirmation, the go ahead and upgrade the pair of prescribed glasses.
A warmth light then rapidly began to engulfed the pair of prescribed glasses. However, the newly upgraded pair of prescribed glasses hadn't changed that much in appearance. Still resembles the old pair of prescribed glasses before it was broken and cracked.
[The (Pair of Prescribed Glasses) has been upgraded to (High Quality Pair of Prescribed Glasses)! ]
[The grade of accessory has been increased to White (common) Grade ☆☆☆! ]
[ The (High Quality Pair of Prescribed Glasses) has gained a hidden attribute skill {Observe} as a result of advancing to White (common) Grade ☆☆☆! ]
[2 upgrade tokens has been consumed! ]
[You now currently have 7 upgrade tokens left! ]
"What..." Jack Faust lightly uttered, as a result of getting surprised upon the recent system prompt message that he saw.
He then thought to himself, 'After 2 confirmed upgrades, the broken pair of prescribed glasses have become just like brand new. It even obtained a hidden attribute skill as a result of advancing in grade.'
'But, then what exactly is this {Observe} skill, and what exactly does it do.' He thought.
Jack Faust then immediately tries on his pair of high quality prescribed glasses, and after he put on the pair of high quality prescribed glasses.
His peripheral field of vision didn't really change that much, when he wore the high quality pair of prescribed glasses, from before and after the twice upgrade.
However, the left hand side of the glass lens was completely fixed, with the spider-web like crack having disappeared after the much needed upgrade.
Apart from that, onced he put on the high quality pair of prescribed glasses. The hidden attribute skill of the high quality pair of prescribed glasses {Observe} then immediately activates, without the need of manual activations.
As numerous blue screen system prompt message then pops up withinside his peripheral field of vision.
The blue screen system prompt message had identified all known entities that is withinside my peripheral field of vision. The name of the object and some simple information upon the object or entity is displayed withinside the blue pop up screen.

'Interesting.' Jack Faust thought, as a slight curved smile started to form upon his lips.
His brain is processing the recently acquired information rather quickly, as the hidden attribute skill {Observe} would display the names of the object or entity. Kind of like a video game modded ui.
'I wonder what would happen to the high quality pair of prescribed glasses if I were to upgrade it to ☆☆☆☆☆ White Grade.' Jack Faust thought, easing into the idea of upgrading the high quality pair of prescribed glasses to maxed tier of the white grade.
However, he was beginning to have second thoughts, doubting himself a little bit. 'If I recall from memory that it takes at least a hour to generate 1 upgrade token, then upgrading the high quality pair of prescribed glasses to ☆☆☆☆☆ White Grade would definitely consume the remainder of my upgrade tokens.'
'Though, the question is. Is it worth it to upgrade the high quality prescribed glasses to ☆☆☆☆☆ White Grade, instead of spending the upgrade tokens upon upgrading something else.' Jack Faust asked himself a question.
'Well, there is no use pondering so much at this point. It's not like I'm wasting upgrade tokens on a piece of junk accessory.' Jack Faust thought so, as he then decided to compromise.
He then thought to himself. 'If the high quality pair of prescribed glasses is already useful at identifying the names of objects at ☆☆☆ White Grade then I wonder what a ☆☆☆☆☆ White Grade high quality pair of prescribed glasses are like.'
'And regenerating 1 upgrade token every hour doesn't really seem that much of a big deal since I have all the time alone by myself, withinside this post-apocalyptic world.' Jack Faust thought so to himself.
He then proceeded to take off his high quality pair of prescribed glasses from his head, and immediately upgrades it with his upgrading power.
A warmth light then envelopes the entirety of the high quality pair of prescribed glasses, before a system prompt message had appeared in front of him, asking if he wanted to upgrade the high quality pair of prescribed glasses or not.
[Would you like to upgrade the (High Quality Pair of Prescribed Glasses) for 3 upgrade tokens?]
Jack Faust then immediately gives the mental confirmation to the upgrading system to go ahead and upgrade the high quality pair of prescribed glasses.
[The (High Quality Pair of Prescribed Glasses) has been upgraded to (High Quality Pair of Advanced Prescribed Glasses)!]
[The grade of accessory has been increased to White Grade ☆☆☆☆!]
[3 upgrade tokens has been consumed!]
[You now currently have 4 upgrade tokens left!]
An intensely bright light then envelopes the high quality pair of prescribed glasses, as the high quality pair of prescribed glasses is then upgraded to the next grade.
However, it's own appearance remains completely the same, apart from the glasses plastic frame having noticeably upgraded to a much higher quality of material.
Jack Faust then repeated the same experiment again until he upgrades the high quality pair of prescribed glasses to White Grade ☆☆☆☆☆.
[Would you like to upgrade the (High Quality Pair of Advanced Prescribed Glasses) for 4 upgrade tokens!]
Jack Faust then repeated the same process and upgrade the high quality pair of advanced prescribed glasses to the next level.
[The (High Quality Pair of Advanced Prescribed Glasses) has been upgraded to (High Quality Pair of Super Prescribed Glasses)!]
[The grade of accessory has been increased to White Grade ☆☆☆☆☆!]
[ The (High Quality Pair of Super Prescribed Glasses) has gained a hidden attribute skill {Analyse} as a result of advancing to White (common) Grade ☆☆☆☆☆! ]
[4 upgrade tokens has been consumed!]
[You now currently have 0 upgrade tokens left!]
Without much further thoughts, Jack Faust then immediately decided to put the newly upgraded high quality pair of super prescribed glasses.
Nothing much about his peripheral field of vision has changed, after the artifact accessory has been upgraded to ☆☆☆☆☆ white grade, apart from the information gathering has become detailed.
When Jack Faust had put the high quality pair of super prescribed glasses on, and looked at a particular object. More information is shown on the blue screen, apart from the name of the that said partucular object or entity.
But, when used upon a living organism, human, or beast. It would then display that particular individual's name, age, gender, race, and class.

'Cool!' It was Jack Faust's first thought, after trying on the high quality pair of super prescribed glasses now that it has been upgraded to ☆☆☆☆☆ white grade.
Jack Faust then thought to himself. 'Now that I have run out of spare upgrade tokens. I should try and explore my old apartment studio flat to see what has changed after I have woken.'
With that thought in mind, Jack Faust then slowly made his own way towards the living room, whilst stepping upon the dusty old wooden floor barefooted. And it left behind a trail of foot prints wherever he walked.
'I really should get some slippers to wear underneath my feets, as I walked around, dust keeps getting stuck and gathering underneath my feet. Gross.' Jack Faust thought so to himself.
He then grabs the door handle to his bedroom, and presses down slightly upon the door handle to retract the door latch to open the bedroom door.
With a slight pull, the old bedroom door then creepily swung open, and Jack Faust then immediately saw the poor state that which the living room is in.
Dust has completely covered the living room floor, and mold have started to grow on top of the ceiling due to many years of precipitation, in which moisture has gathered withinside the living room.
And without proper ventilation, during cold winters the moisture would condense on top of the corners of the living room ceiling, which allowed for the mold to slowly grow and thrive.
'Well, damn. I would certainly need some sort of cleaner, or a vacuum cleaner to be exact, to clean up this level of dirt.' Jack Faust thought.
Afterwards, Jack Faust was beginning to have second thoughts, as he then breathes in a sigh of defeat. 'Yeah, right. Like a vacuum cleaner would ever work withinside a world with no electricity, considering the current state of this world.'
'Well. It looks like we have to go back to the old fashion and traditional of cleaning stuff by hand; a wet towel and a basin full of hot water.' Jack Faust thought.
'Fortunately, during the covid-19 pandemic and nationwide lockdown. I have bought plenty of consumable stock food and water that would last for months.' Jack Faust thought.
He then reiterate and clear things in much clearer detail. 'It's mostly instant cup noodles, bottles of water, cans of fizzy drinks, and 1.5 litres soda bottles.'
With plentiful of spare time, Jack Faust then begin to clean up the living room, as he then grabs a broom and dustpan from the storage room. And then started dusting the area, tediously, without any rest in between.
There was a large pile of dust withinside the centre of the living room, almost weighing a couple of kilos.
'Things would have surely been a lot better if I were to have a basin of hot water and towel. It would have made it a whole lot easier and much more quicker to clean.' Jack Faust contemplated.
'It would surely be a waste of clean drinking water to constantly refill and replace the dirty water in the basin, with clean water.' He thought.
During the time that he was busy cleaning the living room, dusting the living room floor, Jack Faust had unknowingly learned a basic daily neccessary skill.
Ding!
[Skill proficiency has reached a designated degree! The skill {Basic Dusting Lv.1} has been acquired!]
[Skill proficiency has reached a designated degree! The skill {Basic Cleaning Lv.1} has been acquired!]
The skill level of {Basic Dusting} and {Basic Cleaning} has levelled up overtime, as he was busy dusting the living room, and wiping the dust off of the old living room furniture.
In the meantime, it took him a little over a hour just to literally dust off the living room, as there is plenty of dust particles that has been gathered over the years. Left untouched for a couple of centuries, and thick layer of dust particles, several inches deep has gathered on top.
Jack Faust has managed to luckily recover a couple of upgrade tokens in the mean time, as he then wipes the sweat off the side of his cheeks and forehead with his shirt.
Ding!
[You have recovered 1 upgrade token!] × 2
'I wonder what this old broom would eventually become after I end up upgrading it with my upgrade tokens.' Jack Faust thought, as then continues pondering.
Afterwhich, Jack Faust then reaches into the corner of the living room, and took out a 1.5 litre bottle of mineral water.
He then twisted the bottle cap, after hearing a slight 'kchuck' sound. He then unwinds the bottle cap and uncapped the 1.5 plastic bottle of mineral water.
Jack Faust then drank a couple of mouthful of mineral water from the 1.5 litres water bottle, reducing the water contents of the 1.5 litre bottle of mineral water down to more than a third of what is left over.
And then an immediate idea had unexpectedly popped up withinside his head. 'I can easily replenish my source of clean drinking water by simply placing an empty bucket or basin outside on the balcony to collect some rain water.'
'Here in the UK, England. The weather is always either slightly cloudy or raining all the time.' Jack Faust thought, 'I wonder if that still remains the same after the post apocalypse change.'
Afterwards, a thought suddenly crossed his mind after he looked at the large pile of dust at the centre of the living room.
'Oh, right. I remember that lint dust are highly flammable, and is quite often used as a easy way to catch some sparks to start a fire, in place of hay or sticks.' Jack Faust thought.
[Pile of Dust] sloughed-off skin cells, hair, clothing fibers, bacteria, dust mites, bits of dead bugs, soil particles, pollen, and microscopic specks of plastic
'I can always use the dust as a way to start a fire, with how easy it is to catch on fire. And all I just need is a combustion starter, to make some ember spark, to set the dust on fire.' Jack Faust thought.
Afterwards, he then immediately head on over towards the dilapidated old fridge, withinside the kitchen area of the living room.
'Seeing as how there is no electricity for a long time, and a whole lot of time has passed. The food withinside the fridge has properly decayed already, turned completely black, and rotten inside.' He thought to himself.
Without much further thoughts, Jack Faust then grabs the handle towards the cold refrigerator part of the old dilapidated fridge, and steadily opens it.
As the old refrigerator door slowly crept opens, it a made a slight creaking noise, and a foul stench starts to slowly seep out from withinside the old refrigerator.
'Holy shit! That intense smell. It smells so bad that I wanted to hurl quite a bit.' Jack Faust thought, as he steadily made a disgusted looking face.
