Nightfall has come and the group was resting at a poor village. Ritzy's knights and the princess were resting outside the city in their tents since the village had no inn.
Outside the village, a quarter-mile away was Ritzy and Lola sitting in front of each other next to a lake.
Holding each other's hands, Ritzy said softly,
"Feel the energy going through you. Visualize it going through your body over and over again".
Lola's face became stressed and she was sweating an unusual amount.
Ritzy,
"Don't fight the energy, either let it go or flow through you".
Ritzy continued circling his mana in Lola and after a couple of seconds, he stopped.
"Now stand and try using magic. Use whatever feels most natural to you. We don't know what affinity you have".
Picking herself up, Lola took a deep breath and then pulled her fist. Becoming determined, she punched the air full force, trying to release the mana Ritzy gave her.
Hitting the air, nothing happened so she tried again. And again. And again.
Nothing happening, she stomped and kick the grass under her. Tearing the grass apart, she finally calmed down again and sat crossed legged in front of Ritzy again.
Circling mana into Lola's body, Ritzy gave instructions.
"Most magicians don't only make spells happen. They also chant their spells. Are there any chants you know? It's common for people born in the same area to be descendants of the same magician and use the same magic".
While letting the mana flow through her, Lola spoke back.
"I was originally born at Dark Coral City. It was a port city so they're most likely water magic users... But I don't know any water spell chants".
Ritzy started thinking and then remember a spell he read about.
"Visualize a ball of water that can be launched while chanting, Shuǐqiú tóuzhí".
Lola nodded and let go of Ritzy's hands. Standing back up again, she took a deep breath and raised both hands.
"Shuǐqiú tóuzhí".
Nothing happened and just like last time, she became frustrated and tried over and over again.
Finally giving up, she turned to Ritzy angered.
"What with this! I'm supposed to do magic but all you taught me is useless stuff!".
Ritzy started thinking and then remembered he could analyze people. He could see what they're most compatible with, without using special tools. The only reason he forgot he could do this is that he can't simply analyze them.
Ritzy's analytical skill works in two different ways. When someone is in combat, or analyzing from a distance; all Ritzy would learn is if their mana level is bigger than his and if they have any hidden weapons.
The second way requires the person who will be analyzed, be in close proximity, and show no hostile intent. A relaxed setting is needed to analyze them more intently. Doing this, Ritzy can learn their true name, soul age, and much more. But most importantly, he can learn a person's magic compatibility.
Ritzy,
"Sit back down, I have an idea".
Even though she was annoyed, she reluctantly listed to Ritzy. Sitting back down, she placed her hands in front of Ritzy, so he could grab them.
Ritzy grabbed her hands and circulated his mana, but this time he also used his analysis skill.

Ritzy frowned at how bad her compatibility was but then started thinking and realized it wasn't bad. This analysis explained why there were such few magic users. Even more, such few magic-users able to use two different types of magic.
(Updated Compatibility Definition)
Physical compatibility is used to see what area of expertise is much easier for them. Everyone has a form of compatibility with their physical stats.
Compatibility is used to measure how well one can grasp the ability or category. Highest gives 95%plus benefits to training, high gives 50-94%, medium gives 20-50%, low gives 5-25%, lowest gives 0.01-4%, and compatible only gives the ability to use that magic.
Sighing, Ritzy said with no energy.
"Visualize a small point in front of your fist. Then with all your force, make air launch from that point while chanting Kōngqì chuānkǒng".
Lola nodded in acknowledgment and then stood up. Standing, she readied her fist and threw the strongest punch she could.
Throwing her punch didn't cause simple air to flow out her fist but strong pressurized air. The sudden force of air coming from her fist caused her to lose balance and fall.
The air magic she created continued moving forward and pierce an inch into a tree. Causing some chips and splinter to fall off.
Looking at the effects of her spell, her emotions became stirring and Ritzy noticed. He could sense joy, anger, and madness coming from Lola.
Ritzy's thoughts,
'I'll need to make to not teach her too much".
Lola's eyes flickered with evil intent and no sense of sanity.
Ritzy's thoughts,
'She'll go far, but if I'm not careful. She'll also become dangerous'.
Ritzy,
"Now that we've confirmed you can use magic, it's time to learn how to do this all yourself".
Lola turned to look at Ritzy, and her eyes were filled with eagerness. Without hesitation, she sat in front of Ritzy and grabbed his hands.
Ritzy pulled away from her grasp and then instead of forcefully taking her hand as Lola did, Ritzy gently held her hands.
Ritzy,
"It's important to let mana flow through you and not forcefully move the mana. Doing things forcefully with mana and not treading carefully can cause irreparable damage to oneself or others".
Lola nodded but Ritzy could tell she wasn't really paying attention.
Ritzy started coursing his mana in Lola's body.
"Visualize the mana flowing through your body. Let it pass through but also guide it".
Ritzy felt his mana change flow directions in Lola but as he was gonna say something, he noticed the flow of mana increased its velocity.
Ritzy,
"Good, your letting it be a part of you...Now, try to keep it in your body. Try to keep the mana flowing for a minute. If you don't keep the mana flowing for the next hour, I'll end today's session".
Lola nodded with eagerness and Ritzy pitied her ignorance. Internally sighing, Ritzy let go of her hands and started counting the seconds.
...
Morning came and everybody was packing the camp or preparing breakfast. Soon half an hour passed and the servants had breakfast ready.
Servant 1,
"Breakfast is ready, come while it's hot!".
All of Ritzy's knights and slaves hurriedly went to the servants. Even though Dexter, Lizzie, Caroline, Arod, and Scarlet were slaves. Ritzy's orders had made them forcibly not be treated as slaves.
Even though it was an order, the knights could still take advantage of their position and abuse the slaves but Ritzy's personality rubbed off them. They didn't treat the slaves as trash but instead as a fellow traveling group. If it wasn't for Arod, Dexter, and Lizzie having rags for clothes, no one would be the wiser they were slaves.
(Reminder: Caroline has seductive silk clothes and Scarlet has magical robes to help with her healing magic).
As everyone was getting a bowl of breakfast which was a rabbit stew, the princess's two servant guards came marching in.
Chuck (Male Mage),
"Out of the way!".
Chuck pushed one of Ritzy's knight out of the way and cut to the front of the breakfast line. Not bothering about what he just did, he spoke smugly to the servant.
"Three bowls of your finest portions".
As he said, he noticed the quality of the stew. It looked good, but it wasn't anything like the royal palace or at least what they cooked.
Chuck,
"What is this atrocity of a meal!".
Speaking softly Servant,
"Rabbit stew? It's not even visualy pleasing..".
He then saw that there was only a shred of meat in the bowl,
"Don't tell me that is how much meat we get? We're royal guards and our princess needs much more than this!".
Lizzie (Lizard beastkin) approached Chuck. Since she was tall, she had to bend a little forward to see his eyes from how close she was.
"If you don't want it, go cook your own damn meals".
Luci (Rogue Princess Guard) was standing nearby but then got involved when she heard Lizzie's remark.
"How dare you damn low life talkback! You should be grateful that we even let you live you disgusting beastkin".
Lizzie became angered and threw a punch to Luci's face. Causing Luci to fall to the ground and dirty her clothes.
