"You're right Felix. Now let's look for Ren's room." Raphael says hyping everyone up.
We all nod and devise a quick plan which is to check all floors at the same time by splitting up.
After a few room have been checked Junior comes back.
"I've found him." He reports. "Ren is in room 613."
"Eh? The sixth floor." I say looking up. I groan. I was thinking that he'd be on the first or second floor but not the sixth. That's where the rich people are.
Nicholas turns to look at me. "Relax Adi. You are wearing Chrissy bear's jacket."
"Don't call me Chrissy bear." Christopher growls at Nicholas but Nicho just shrugs like it's nothing.
I roll my eyes. "I'm not afraid to go up their in my pajamas just that the media might get a hold on Ren's current state which could escalate into a scandal."
"True. X, you know what to do." Christopher says turning to Xavier.
"Loren I need your help." Xavier walks away with Lorenzo following.
"Now that's out of the way..." I snap my fingers and my pajamas are replaced with a black crop top, short distressed denim pants and black boots.
Christopher shakes his head when seeing that I don't give his jacket back.
"Let's go." I say and swing Christopher's jacket over while walking towards the stairs with my brothers behind me.
"The Myths will be here soon." Sage reads the text from his phone while we are walking up to the sixth floor because the elevator is really busy.
"Okay." I reply and we don't talk until we get to Ren's room. I push the door open and step inside the room in slow motion.
Something inside me is weighing me down when I step into the room. It's probably from worrying about Ren and guilt since he is a close friend who has saved me before but I didn't save him.
I walk around to look at the curtain prepared to see Ren's unconscious body but what I see shocks me so much that my disguised features glitch.
"What are you doing here?" Ren looks up and gets a shock when seeing us all standing in front of him.
Not only is Ren awake but he is reading a book which I gave him. I inspect him from a distance to see a few cuts and bruises on his body but nothing too serious.
"I thought you were in a coma." I can't help but blurt out.
Ren bows his head. "It's our junior student that is in the coma."
"Eh? He's in a coma?" I ask shocked.
Ren nods. "He didn't have life insurance so I put it under my name."
My eyes widen when hearing him. No wonder they said that Ren is in a coma. Turns out he's not and only suffered minor injuries.
"Wait. Who died then?" I ask remembering that Beatrix said someone died.
"The driver." Ren eyes turn red when remembering the incident.
I stare at his eyes which has begun to tear. It's a miracle that he isn't hurt but seeing someone die in front of you is hard. Any other person would've been crying their eyes out but Ren is reading a book about a supernatural world.
"So I get it that everything is alright and we can go back to Spain?" Nicholas asks.
Sage hits him. "Don't be rude."
"That's what I should say." Christopher says with a bit out pout on his lips.
"Shh!" Felix says comforting Ren like the kind person that he is. Well nicer than the rest of our siblings.
"Aish! I got dressed up for nothing." I sigh and sit down in a chair which I got from my black diamond ring since there are only two chairs for guests.
The door opens again and the five Myths walk in with Daniel, Quantum and Quasar.
"How's Ren?" They all ask in their different voices.
"He's alive and awake." Sage says sarcastically. Nicholas gets his revenge. Sage rubs his head which Nicholas put force behind his smack.
"Don't start fighting." Xavier growls seeing the two about to go at it.
"I thought he was in a coma?" Lance can't help but ask.
"I did too but it's our junior who is in the coma. The driver died." I answer Lance's question.
"Well at least you are okay." Killian smiles and sits on the bed and comforts Ren who is still tearing up even with Felix already comforting him.
"Of course he would be okay." Orion says startling everyone.
"Why would he be okay?" I ask him.
"He has your brooch." Orion replies pointing to the purple brooch sitting on the bedside table.
My eyes widen before my face flushes. I lower my head into my hands. "I forgot about that."
Everyone in the room shake their heads because they too forgot forgot about the brooch in their panic.
"How could we forget about the brooch?" Felix says in disbelieve.
"Probably because you had other things to do and have been missing for the past few months." Nicholas suggests.
Christopher glares at Nicholas in an attempt to stop talking.
"You're right, Nicho. I was away but I don't have to tell you anything because you have also had a secret vacation." Felix says back.
"Ohhh!" Some of us echo.
Nicholas rolls his eyes when seeing Felix got him. "I'll go get some food." He says.
"Yes! I'll come with." I say and jump out of my seat.
"No. You're staying here." Christopher announces startling everyone.
"Why can't I go?" I ask him.
"We'll go while you young ones stay." Christopher says referring the the brothers.
"They're only a few years older. They haven't even hit their twenties yet." I whine pointing to the quadruplets.
"You're staying." Christopher walks out of the room with the final two words.
My other brothers follow all except for Orion and Sage who are considered 'the young ones'.
I pout. "They're going to choose such disgusting food." I mutter.
"Chris might've done that because Ren needs protection." Sage suggests. "We think that this wasn't an incident but a well executed plan by the person who wants to ruin Ren."
"Ohh." Aria says. "Plot twist."
We shake our heads knowing that she's liking the drama about Ren and has been the most updated about it though she acts spoiled she is very manipulative and can easily manipulate Lance to get information.
